If you're flying into Orlando or just a local in the surrounding area and craving something flavorful that's not airport food or hamburgers, Spice Thai near the airport is absolutely worth the stop. From the moment we walked in, we could tell this place had a fresh new energy. It looks like it's under new management, and whatever changes were made definitely paid off. The restaurant feels upgraded, clean, and welcoming a great first impression. My wife ordered the yellow curry, and I went with the chicken panang. Both dishes came out packed with amazing flavor. The yellow curry was rich and comforting with just the right balance of sweetness and spice, while my panang had that perfect creamy texture with a bold, savory kick. You can tell care goes into the preparation. Our servers were super friendly and attentive throughout the meal, checking in at just the right times without being overbearing. It made the whole experience even better. On top of everything, the prices are really reasonable for the quality and portion sizes you get. Great food, great service, and a refreshed atmosphere we'll definitely be coming back next time we're near Orlando International Airport.

Spice Thai is one of my favorites Thai places in the area as they have pad kee mao (or drunken noodles) and they cut their carrots into little sunbursts. Minor, but fun nevertheless. Food is always hot and you can normally get at least two meals from it. Service was kind and they gave us a coupon for free krab rangoons next time we eat in store. A local spot that's good for a quick meal or delivery.

Excellent flavor and service; under new management and same chef per waitress. Decor had been updated to reflect a fresh new environment. The chef took her time to talk to us about the flavors of our meals which was an excellent experience.

Service was friendly and welcoming with a pleasant, warm ambience. I was a bit disappointed with my Lava Chicken..it was not really crunchy...more like chewy chunks of chicken meat.

While in Orlando for work we had a craving for Thai food so we went to Yelp (of course) to look for a good restaurant. The reviews were spot on. This place is authentic, staff is friendly, service is good, food is great! Great service from Rita! Location: highly populated shopping area Small seating area inside; clean Prices: affordable Parking: plentiful Food: delicious and definitely authentic! They have "American hot" vs "Thai hot" lol FYI, not open on Mondays! We tried to go back before we left and sadly they were closed

This Thai restaurant is wonderful. I love spicy food and made my meal with love. My duck was cooked just right. I highly recommend this restaurant. Very close to airport.

Very friendly and clean establishment - Tom Yum soup was good and the summer rolls were solid; sauce was fantastic.

Ask the Community - Spice Thai Restaurant

    Do you serve Halal meat?

No they don't but they are respectful of different cultures. We just tell them not to use any alcohol additives and they also use a clean pan to cook it may take a bit to get our order but we are pleased that they go above and beyond their service.

The flavors are just delicious perfectly balanced of salty, sweet, and SPICY. Mild medium or hot are the three options of heat and man, medium is already pretty spicy I don't think I'll ever want to experience hot. We've tried the seafood papaya salad, regular thai salad, pad see ew, pad thai and their thai milk tea is as good as anywhere. We started with the chicken gyoza and coconut shrimp--honestly, both were skippable. They tasted like something straight out of a frozen bag and didn't really set the tone for what was to come. Thankfully, the entrées completely turned things around. The chicken pad Thai, Chinese broccoli with shrimp, and blue crab fried rice were all outstanding--packed with flavor and clearly the stars of the menu. We ordered everything medium spice, which definitely had a kick. Even as people who enjoy spice, we'd probably go light next time. We wrapped things up with mango sticky rice, which was the perfect sweet finish. Overall, a bit of a mixed start, but the mains more than delivered. I'll definitely be back next time I'm passing through Orlando.

We were visiting Orlando on Christmas Eve, and of course, a stop at our favorite spot was non-negotiable. Over the years, they've remained consistently exceptional in quality, flavor, and service. From the moment you walk in, you're welcomed by a cozy, comfortable atmosphere. Nothing has changed in the last 15 years and honestly, I wouldn't want it any other way. We were seated immediately, and as always, the service was quick, friendly, and attentive. I always start with the cucumber salad, the Thai chili dressing is absolutely incredible. My all-time favorite dish remains the Crazy Meat, which is hands down the best red curry you'll ever have. It's served with a perfectly fluffy portion of rice shaped like a heart, and the broth truly warms the soul. My husband usually orders the fried rice, but this time he tried the Pad Penang. It's similar to my dish, with a thicker, richer sauce rather than a soup-like broth. He loved it so much that he already plans to order extra sauce next time. For our kids, the waitress confidently recommended fried chicken and rice. I didn't even realize this was an option since there's no kids' menu, but this was some of the best fried chicken we've ever had. The kids devoured it, and we may have snuck a few pieces ourselves because it was just that good. If you're looking for unforgettable Thai food, this is the place. We'll keep coming back year after year, and it will always be our favorite.

The service was great had a lovely waitress who was so friendly and knowledgeable about the dishes. Started with the krabragoons which hardly had any filling and not very tasty but the dipping sauce that comes with it helped. My usual go to is yellow curry but this yellow curry was done differently, it lacked flavor and the veg options inside the dish was also different from what I'm accustom to. The chicken pad Thai was ok missed the crushed peanuts on top & lacked sauce. The portions were great and we finished our dishes but unfortunately we won't be back.

Randomly chose Pop Thai and so happy we did! It's a very nice restaurant vibe with house music playing, very attentive staff and the food, so delicious! We couldn't find it originally and drove past it so when we were trying to figure out where it was, passersby overheard us and said, that's our favorite Thai and pointed us in the direction. It's part of a long shopping strip with a variety of shops, but they're on the corner and street parking is available. We ordered chicken Thai salad, one of the currys and veggie rolls. The chicken Thai salad was extremely flavorful and so fresh and light, even though I hadn't planned to eat any, it was so good, we had to share.:) I added potatoes to our curry and it was an extra $2 chg. The chef was cute and made our rice mound into a heart. Perfect combo and lots of chicken with the veggies. My only caveat is the veggie rolls were a little mushy and I would pass on them next time. Everything is so flavorful otherwise and it was nice to see real Thai people working there. We learned our waitresses real name, but I'm tired and can't remember now. I went to a Japanese restaurant recently and nobody was Japanese. It really makes a difference in authenticity of the food when they come from the area they're presenting. Highly recommend this place for lunch and dinner. Yummy!!!!
