SCAM!!!! Quoted over phone $95 which was equivalent to the 2 other companies who called me back but I went with Speedy Lock only because they would be there within 30 min. They came an hour after and didn't even attempt to pick my locked door, but instead took a household power drill and drilled a hole through it (I could have done this myself!!) then told me I HAVE to buy a new lock from them and the price is $240. I refused their lock I will run to Lowes and get my own. They said "that's not an option you are paying $240 either way your choice". I will be disputed this with the BBB and my bank. read more

Do not use this company for any of their services. They will scam you, steal your money, and break your lock. I was charged $750 for a non-emergency service to unlock my smart lock, which they ended up drilling open, completely breaking it. They replaced it with a $10 lock. Stay away! read more

The reviews for Speedy Lock and Key are either great or awful. I think it's because it depends on which locksmith you get. The handle on our back door broke one evening and Rich called Speedy Lock and Key. I was trying to get dinner ready and when our locksmith was a little late I was pretty cranky with him on the phone. When he arrived he was the nicest young man and I felt like a total witch. We were lucky enough to have Shai Arviv assigned to us. He was able to replace the door knob and the charge was quite reasonable. It turns out he lives quite close to us which is so convenient. When the dead bolt on another door got difficult we called Shai directly. He was able to come and replace it, again at a reasonable charge. We have dogs and he showed us a picture of his adorable pup. I always like a fellow dog lover and can always use a good locksmith! We will definitely use him again. read more

The most horrible service ever. I waited 2 hours, the tech never called; I called over 4 or 5 times to finally get told that he wasn't coming and couldn't do the job. I would not recommend, nor use this company ever. I can't think of the last time I had such bad customer service. I just kept getting the tech will call you shortly, well 2 hours and 3 days ain't short in my book!!! If I could give zero stars I would!!!! So the service was good and bad. It's hard to understand the people over phone because they don't speak a lot of English. There was a lot of confusion. I locked my keys in my car and the person who came got it out very quickly. They arrived in 30 minutes which was great. I did have to give my credit card info to the boss over speaker phone which is very unprofessional. The over all price was $170. Can't say I'd chose them again. read more

Yogi came very expiditiously, and was very courteous. He was able to fix my back door sliding glass quickly. The problem was that the door was slightly off cant, and wasn't catching the lock. Overall great service. 4/5 stars because the fee of $100 was a bit high for 10 minutes of work without replacement parts, and the initial fee before he worked with me was $165. read more

This company sent a locksmith promptly to replace one lock on a garage and charged $350, which was more than twice what a previous locksmith had charged to do the same thing. In addition to that, the technician tried to get me to pay him a $50 tip. In addition to that, he wanted me to call on him individually for future work. This company came out to install a lock set for a storm door ,lockset that I had already purchased and I had a Groupon . The initial price they quoted was $185 once I told the technician I had a Groupon for $100 in services the price increased to $285. I was over charged, the guy was over an Hour late and scratched my strom door frame when he removed the old lock. Thank god for this business because if they didn't have great customer service and a surprisingly fast service time, then I would still probably be locked outside of my car in the freezing snow.
