David was on time, made recommendations, completed quality work, and showed care and concern about potential issues with locks he saw in the house. read more

I requested service to replace the broken lock on the door leading to the garage, and I decided to replace the lock on the main door as well. David arrived on time the next morning and provided up front pricing on installation of the new door locks. The price was fair and decided to have him install the locks. He finished the installation within one hour, checked the keys (decided to stick to my old keys) to ensure they worked with the new locks, and cleaned up. Thus, he did a great job. I would call him again for locksmith service. read more

Quick response to my inquiry. Came late at night which I really appreciated. Thank you for saving the day for us!

Needed broken locks repaired/replaced and locks rekeyed. David came right on schedule, quoted me a fair price before he began work and fixed everything perfectly. Would use David again for sure! read more

David was professional, kind, efficient, and did a great job replacing several of our locks.

I needed a new keyed security bolt lock on a metal door. My request for an estimate received an immediate response and I found it fair and reasonable. David was able to come out within an hour of my request. He quickly installed the new model lock, explained how to open and close the lock inside and use the key to open from the outside, and made the extra keys I needed. Excellent service. I will certainly call him again if I need any lock services. read more

After locking myself out of my house, I called them for emergency service. They promised a 30-minute arrival but took over 2 hours to show up. When the technician finally arrived, he was rude, unprofessional, and gave me an inflated quote (almost 3x the original phone estimate!). Worse, the locksmith damaged my door while trying to pick the lock and then insisted it was "normal." I ended up paying way too much for shoddy work and now have to repair my door frame. Avoid this company at all costs-dishonest pricing, terrible customer service, and unskilled work. I'll never call them again and suggest others look elsewhere. read more

He had to use several methods but his persistence and ingenuity prevailed and we got into the apartment

My last review for David Locksmith was 5 years ago. It was 5 star service then and 5 star service now. David Locksmith does excellent work! We've used David 3 times at 2 houses. The 1st time was to rekey our mailbox. At our next house, David replaced all the locks (6 doors) after our purchase. Most recently, David came out late night for an emergency - our 4 year old daughter had locked herself in the bathroom! Phone calls are answered quickly and professionally by Lita. And her arrival estimates are always accurate. I highly recommend David Locksmith and will be sure to call again at our next home. read more

Very responsive and arrived when promised. Fixed the problem. Overall good experience.

David recently fixed my front door lock, on the doorknob. Months ago, he fixed the deadbolt and - correctly! - warned me that the doorknob would also need fixing sooner or later. Well, when later came around, David remembered me from months ago and quickly came back to fix the doorknob lock. He was professional and worked efficiently. read more

They were a life saver when I locked myself out on a cold night. After advising me to wait if I could for cost-they came first thing in the morning and did not damage the door. Couldn't have been more kind, efficient or effective. Highly recommend! read more

Great job, quick to respond. Did all the work from his vehicle. Used his services twice now. Very polite and professional. Haven't had a problem with a lock that he has rekeyed for me yet. read more

David was super helpful in a stressful situation. He got to us within 20 minutes and was done 5 minutes after he got there. His attitude and sense of humor was definitely appreciated. read more

We were locked out of our house with a hungry Infant and tired 4 toddler. We called David Locksmith and he was there in 16 minutes and got in the door in 5 min. He showed my husband what he was doing every step of the way. He was honest, thorough and fast! I would hire him again if we were in that situation again but hopefully we will not be. I would highly recommend him over anyone else. And it's a small mom and pop business--rare to find that these days. read more

David performed an excellent job. He is very knowledgeable and professional. His quote was the best rate by far compared to the other locksmiths that I reached out to. I recommend David's professional services. read more

i called David Locksmith to unlock my house door on May 16, 2025. He arrived promptly and I was able to enter my home. I am happy with the service and the very reasonable fee. read more

Asked David to help fix a broken key in a Thule cargo carrier. He successfully removed it and helped fix our front door knob assembly for a very nominal amount extra. He provides good advice and reiterated calling the cargo box manufacturer for replacement keys. Came even a bit early on our agreed upon time. Great experience. read more

David was terrific! He replaced a complex, multi-point locking mechanism that had failed at my house, rendering our main exterior door unusable. The mechanism that had been installed by the builder was very secure, but it was therefore also difficult to remove and replace, and it had to be dismantled before the exact model and measurements could be known for sake of ordering the replacement (it was not a widely used or stocked part). David made multiple visits to the house (assessment, parts order, installation), reassembled things to ensure the door could be secured while parts were on order, and was always prompt and reliable in his follow-up. He was attentive to cost considerations and working within my budget (given the complexity of the job). He was a true professional. I highly recommend and will absolutely call David again when needing help with any lock. read more

This is a family business. David was perfectly on time as promised and was so honest with his services. He explained all options and helped me replace my door locks. I found him to be a very kind and trustworthy person. I highly recommend David for all locksmith issues. read more

I have now used David's services twice - once for a rekeying and once to install a smart lock. Both times I have been extremely happy with the service. David is professional, very flexible with scheduling, reasonably priced, and does excellent work! Also bonus he is very dog friendly :) He walked us through the features of our new lock and made sure we felt comfortable with how it worked before we left. If we have any future needs we will definitely be reaching out again! read more

I can't say enough good things about Mr. David. He was amazing. I feel safe in my home. He installed deadbolt, re-keyed other locks. Installed my blink doorbell (even though I had not originally requested because I thought it was the electrician that would do it). He was tolerant of the many work people I had in the house. Showed up when he said he would. Was very easy to schedule. Will use again for family and friends. read more

David and Lita are amazing! I didn't get an immediate response when I sent my email but Lita called me the next day to apologize for the delay. I was out and about so she emailed me and texted to let me know David's availability. I really appreciated it that. She said all I needed to do was take pictures of my door locks where the key is inserted send them over and in less than 30 min she gave us a reasonable and fair quote. David was at my home the next morning and it took him about 30-40 min. He even spent time with me to explain how my door locks were unpickable and to carry a spare (apparently the locking system installed by our builder is higher end and a locksmith would need a drill if you lose the key, which I had no idea) He even showed me how the best way to lock and unlock my doors to keep them lasting longer. When he left he noticed my garage was still open and called to let me know. Very sweet. Thank you so much for the quick turnaround and service! I want to say "looking forward to using them again," but I don't want to jinx myself by losing keys. read more

Communication and scheduling were excellent with Lita and David. We had 9 locks across several doors, some new and some antique, a mix of schlage and quikset. We wanted all locks to use the same key, and to introduce a keypad lock onto one of the doors. David was careful not to make any promises due to the antique locks, but was able to get all locks working with a single key like we were hoping. The locks function smoother than they used to, and are well aligned with the frame. David made sure my wife and I were happy with the work, and understood the keypad functionality, prior to leaving. David was excellent with Covid-19 precautions, performed the work very quickly, and made an unexpected recommendation to swap two door knobs after noticing that a seldom used door had a much nicer knob than a door we use often. We are very happy. Thank you. read more

David was on time and completed the work as requested. However, he seemed quite irritated by any questions that we asked. He also seemed annoyed when I pointed out that the new bolt siding was not flush against the door. To his credit, he fixed it but I was surprised that he it needed to be pointed out. read more

I scheduled an appointment with David and he explained what should be done when programming auto key fob which explain how I got scammed by another locksmith! He said he will get all my keys fixed and won't get paid until I'm satisfied and everything is working! It's bad that I got scammed but In the process I found a honest and fair person! Needed to get a fob programmed for my older model truck. The process was great from start to finish. Lita quickly responded to my messages with more information than any other vendor I spoke with (about 5). While their quoted price was slightly higher than the lowest, the level of honesty and the explanation of the service was was stellar. David was on time. The very firs thing he said "thank you for choosing me". What a perfect greeting. He did not leave until he ensured I was satisfied and had a working fob despite several technical issues with an older model Ram. I highly highly recommend this local business. read more

I requested a quote for rekeying through Yelp and was immediately assisted by Lita, who was very responsive and got me an appointment for early the next morning. David came right on time and was very thorough and even advised me on the brand of locks to avoid in the future. Hopefully won't need a locksmith again any time soon but if I do, I will be calling David Locksmith! read more

Within the last two years, David visited our home twice for different issues. After reaching out to Lita, she had arranged for David to fix the issues on the same day. David repaired the doorknobs and locks successfully. The customer service and professionalism that Lita and David provide are high quality services. It's a great feeling knowing you are in trusted hands. We highly recommend using their services and are fortunate to have found David Locksmith. read more

Quick response and fast service. Replaced 2 locks (car key with chip and front door of house) in about 40 minutes. Highly recommend

Great service. Highly recommend. Called to see if he could repair a lock. The lock was beyond repair, but he suggested he could install a deadbolt. It was 9 pm and we needed something to be able to lock the door. He did a great job, even cleaned up afterwards. Very nice to deal with. read more

Amazing experience. Contacted them through Yelp and had a reply within minutes. Received a fair estimate for the work and David was here an hour later. He discovered that he could repair (instead of replace) my lock, saving me at least $40. He arrived within the time window (one hour), completed the work quickly and cleanly. I would highly recommend this locksmith and I will certainly use this service again. read more

David Locksmith is amazing! Customer service begin with the call to gather information. I knew right away this was the company I wanted. Lita knew the right questions to ask to help me maximize my experience and it's not everyday that you rekey an entire house! David arrived on time and Lita sent me a text to confirm. He was Covid prepared and savvy. He listened to what my goals were and then took me to a new line of thinking: who knew my storm doors could be keyed to the door they protected! Yup! He keyed Pella and Anderson storm doors to match my kwiksets! He rekeyed 20 locks, each one smooth and secure, from the little lab in his van. I had the safety configuration that I wanted and it was a great appointment. And now I have a "go to" guy for all my locks. I appreciate the investment in David Locksmith and recommend him to everyone. read more
