On top of that, this person was furious when I told him what I was quoted. He told me they charge so much because of his car, insurance etc... Udi kept in touch about his arrival time which was only slightly outside of the time window I had been given. He stayed until the job was complete - almost to 9pm. He counseled me against replacing the double-cylinder deadbolts (providing for safe egress during a fire or other emergency). He provided 6 duplicate keys even without me asking. This was a good contractor experience because of the ease and speed of scheduling and the diligence with which Udi approached the job. Somehow, even after removing all the debris from the keyhole, when the key was inserted the deadbolt would not move. Tim came and fixed the issue with our front door lock quickly.
