Chiko called someone else who did get to the house within 15 mins. Definitely prompt. I asked the person who showed up how much. He said it could be tricky etc... Anyway, it took this person 2 mins to open the door. I was then charged $239! For a job that took all of 5 mins if you include his getting out of and back into his van. On top of that, this person was furious when I told him what I was quoted. He told me they charge so much because of his car, insurance etc... I didn't have an issue with the $150 (although it took 5 mins). I do have an issue with the guy who showed up, charging me an extra $90. The tech who came to the house was super scary. A few days before, our kids and their friends were trying to live out their espionage dreams and tried picking the front door deadbolt lock by inserting blades of grass and twigs in it. Somehow, even after removing all the debris from the keyhole, when the key was inserted the deadbolt would not move. Tim came and fixed the issue with our front door lock quickly. My wife did not know this when I first called but it turns out that Tim lives up the street from us and of course, refused to charge us for his services! We'll be using him again if we ever need to.
