Had our keys misplaced by a family member and needed someone to come out and have a key made for us…read moreso we could move our vehicle so it would not get impounded. Right off the bat the dispatcher girl did not know what she was doing because she told us 2 different times they would be there. Then on our way to the vehicle we called to say we wanted to talk to the technician, well she then asked us if we still needed service done because we told her to cancel it. Ummmm no we didn't! I was very upset at this point! So I told her to put me through to a technician! Finally talked to him. He said he would be out to our vehicle at 3pm. We got there by 2:40. By 3:40 he had still not shown up! Problem it, where we were there is absolutely no service. You have to go almost 20-30min over a mountain to get service. So we left the vehicle (which we were told at 4pm they were calling to get it impounded) to go try to get service to figure out what was going on. When we got a hold of them we were very angry because they were giving us the run around. I explained that it was going to be impounded if it didn't get taken care of. He said he would (this time) head there and be there by 4:30. Went BACK to the vehicle. Sat there until around 5:30pm and he never came. So we didn't know what else to do! They called the Sheriff's department to have it towed and waiting to hear back. So we left. Once we got back into service my fiancée called them and let them know that they were not professional at all and they hung up on him. This was after they refused to answer from my phone number that we had been using previously! Do not use their services!! There is A LOT better out there!!

What a great experience with Udi at Potomac Locksmith Squad!…read more We got locked outside of our house in Potomac Maryland around 10 pm - we looked on Yelp for a 24 hours locksmith in Potomac Maryland and found this guys - one phone call and Udi arrived in less than 30 minutes and opened our home in less then 5 minutes. Udi is a great guy, very dog friendly and just friendly in general. My dog usually doesn't stop barking at strangers, but for some reason he didn't stop licking Udi the whole time he was there. I had to pry him off of him to let him work. I had a great experience and will definitely keep his number for next time.

First time ever locking myself out of the house. Bummer. I called Chiko's to get into the house…read more When I called, I was quoted $150 to $230 depending upon the difficultly. Chiko called someone else who did get to the house within 15 mins. Definitely prompt. I asked the person who showed up how much. He said it could be tricky etc... Anyway, it took this person 2 mins to open the door. I was then charged $239! For a job that took all of 5 mins if you include his getting out of and back into his van. On top of that, this person was furious when I told him what I was quoted. He told me they charge so much because of his car, insurance etc... I didn't have an issue with the $150 (although it took 5 mins). I do have an issue with the guy who showed up, charging me an extra $90. The tech who came to the house was super scary. I gave him the money because I definitely thought he was unhinged.

We called David and he showed up the very next day and fixed it free of charge and was very friendly about it despite having to make two trips. Our door is now working perfectly. At 11:19 a.m., the technician, Israel (443-218-2637), called me. He provided a price quote and an estimated arrival window. He arrived within that stated time. When he arrived, I was unable to locate the key. He advised that he could still complete the job. He removed the lock from my door and stated that he would return within 30 minutes. By 3:00 p.m., he had not returned. At 3:41 p.m., I contacted Israel. He stated that he was in traffic and had to go to two other locations but would return in 30 minutes. After that call, he did not return and did not answer additional calls. I then contacted A1 Affordable Locksmith and was told that a manager would return my call. I called again at 6:39 p.m. and was given the same response. At 7:12 p.m., I contacted Israel and informed him that I no longer wanted his services and requested that he return my lock. He stated that he had taken another job and was 13 miles away. After additional unsuccessful attempts to resolve the matter, I informed Israel that I would contact the police. He responded that this would not be necessary. I then contacted Anne Arundel Police, who documented the incident and contacted Israel directly. Israel returned to my residence at 9:09 p.m. He stated that traffic and other jobs caused the delay and offered a partial apology. As a result of this situation, my home was left unsecured for several hours. I was without my lock for most of the day, and I had to involve law enforcement to resolve the matter. This experience was unprofessional and unacceptable.!!!! I am requesting that this matter be reviewed and addressed appropriately.
