Somehow, even after removing all the debris from the keyhole, when the key was inserted the deadbolt would not move. Tim came and fixed the issue with our front door lock quickly. I called Affordable Locksmiths and they were able to send a locksmith to my house in a twenty-minute time frame. In less than ten minutes they were able to get us back into the house. Our technician was quick, friendly and efficient. He wore gloves and a mask which made me feel a lot better about the whole situation. I am knocking off a star because it would have been very helpful to get some type of semblance of a quote before sending the locksmith over. Instead we were put on the spot and unable to price compare -- I think that even a photo exchange of the locks involved before sending something over would give us a better idea of what to expect...but it looks like this is the way most locksmiths do business right now. For future price references, in the future to unlock a deadbolt and standard lock it cost us $185.
