cocktails all night + locked out = Broken Garage Door :( Soo...after a night accompanied by Jameson, I tried to open the boo's garage door manually without even thinking about it being connected to the automatic opener. Sunday morning Boo tried to use the automatic opener and the garage wouldn't open so he found that the top panel was dented with a huge gap above the door. *hand over forehead* There was no way at the fun size of 5'2.5" I could have dented the top of the door. Was it the new liquid muscle and powers I acquired from Mr. Jameson a few hours prior? No, couldn't have been. I knew if I hadn't tried to open the garage door manually we wouldn't have had the issue at hand. *Hungover* -- Must...Think...QUICKLY... I sell flooring to Property Management companies and I met a fellow vendor at an industry event from Eagle Garage Door whom was really nice. (I can't recall her name as it was over a year ago...maybe it was Jessie?)...but for some reason, at this very moment I remembered the "Eagle" name. I googled Eagle garage and I made a call at 8:55AM on a Sunday and the kind woman dispatched the tech and said he'd be out the same day and let me know that the tech would call. Tech called literally 5 minutes later and gave me a window of 2 hours. I texted him the address and then he called back saying he'd be there in 30 mins. Tech arrived so quickly and the door was fixed and problem solved by 10AM and Boo was happy. I didn't meet the technician as I let the Boo handle everything once he arrived, I did enough damage. Boo did say that service was exceptional and the tech was extremely proficient, professional and very nice and Boo convinced me to write this review. I wish I knew the tech's name but the only thing I remember was that the Boo said the technician was from Georgia. Please pass along many kudos to this tech and thank you Eagle Garage Door Services for all of your help! read more

I can understand why this company has many positive reviews, and I am glad others had good experiences. Unfortunately, mine was not one of them. I hired them to install a doorbell. Instead of being upfront that this was not within their expertise, they attempted the project anyway. Throughout the process, they repeatedly asked me if I was sure and insisted their way was the only option. In hindsight, it felt less like concern and more like a way to protect themselves so they could later say I gave permission. As a client, I am not the expert, which is why I hired a professional. That approach came across as intimidation rather than guidance. When it became clear the project could not be completed, I was still charged the full price. When I raised my concern, the response was dismissive and delivered in a raised tone of voice. As a young woman alone in that situation, I felt intimidated and taken advantage of. They knew the job had not been completed successfully, yet I was still required to pay in full, which made the experience feel unfair and exploitative. Afterward, I learned the wiring issue could have been solved in a very simple way. Instead, I was left with unnecessary damage, had to clean up the entire mess by myself, and now face additional costs to repair what was left behind. Cleaning up on my own not only made the sting of the experience worse but also felt degrading. I am glad this company may work well for smaller, straightforward projects. However, if your request requires anything more complex, be cautious. Even if the work is not successful, you will still be charged in full. I was hesitant to write this review out of fear of retaliation, but I felt it was important to share my experience in case it helps someone else. read more

Service tech reinstalled the dryer vent backwards and damaged the dryer flex tube by crimping it. When I called him he lied and said it was "broken when he got there". I sent him the picture showing him he reinstalled backwards and he said he would return and fix it. He never returned. I called customer service 3 times and was told "upper management would call me back", I never received a call. STAY AWAY!! Terrible technicians and terrible customer service!! read more

I am writing to share my recent experience with Eagle Garage Door.which was unfortunately far from satisfactory. From start to finish, the service was fraught with issues that I believe should be addressed for the benefit of future customers. When the technician did arrive, the quality of work was disappointing. The repairs "didn't fix the problem," "were incomplete," I had to call back multiple times to get the issue addressed properly. read more

You can't give 0 stars, I will select 1. My condo board has a contract with them for years. My unit was being serviced by a gentleman who was always prompt and came during the prescheduled times. Since that gentleman left, service at my community has been horrible. They don't show up or if they do they arrived later or earlier than then already established window. read more

Reply to comment from the owner: given the language and attitude of the tech that came out (at the end of the call out), I'm not comfortable giving you my name and address. I'll take a photo of the business info portion of the receipt to prove I am reviewing the right business. On Yelp I have well over 100 in depth reviews with original pictures of the locations I review that can be verified against other reviewers' pictures. If this doesn't show I'm a real person writing real reviews, I don't know what will. I'd caution anyone to look at the "not recommended" reviews. Why are there so many compared to any other business? Why are only the negative ones not recommended? read more

Can't comment on the quality of their service, because I didn't get any. Tried going to their store-front location in Beltsville, which has big signs on all 3 doors saying that they're open Sunday-Friday 9am-5pm, but all 3 doors were locked and no one was there. Calling their phone number put me in touch with mobile service, which I didn't need, because I was standing outside their office doors! read more

NOT RECOMMENDED. The technician who came to fix the vent issue, instead broke the microwave owen door, hid the fact, got the money and vanished. The business is not responding to calls or texts or emails. "DO NOT" use their service. read more

Do not do business with this company..... I foolishly responded to their ad on Facebook market place and was was quoted the following from Jamie: "Alright so its just a flat rate $350 and the package includes. 1) All the Ducts 2) All the supply vents 3) sanitizer 4) dryer vent will be provided if it needs cleaning the technicians will be quoting you the price on the spot" Service was schedule for Tuesday the 16th.... Monday, my phone is blowing up from the technicians trying to come and perform the service. I explain the service was scheduled for Tuesday and they call me back and say ok, they will be here on Tuesday. They show up on Tuesday and now say the price is $400..... Additionally, no sanitizer applied as quoted above. I call the company and explain the issue and their reason for the extra cost is return vents are not included.... Well, Tech never said that. He merely said that's what the company told him to bill.... Lastly, technicians were in a rush... Had to follow them around and have them clean the floors from all the dust and debris they blew from the vents.... All in all, poor communication, poor customer service and frankly, not really sure of the overall value of their work. I'd avoid at all costs. I'm sure there are more reputable companies out there. read more

I was quoted a cleaning of $149 based on my house size. We have 5 supply vents and 1 return vent. We have a tiny home, under 1000sqft. I was unable to be there but the tenant was home. Fast forward to getting home that evening, my bill is almost $700. Here were my concerns: 1. I am the person that hired him. I was the one on all of the communications. He had my cell phone AND Facebook where we had covered regularly over the past few days. Not once did the technician or main office call/text/message me to discuss increasing the scope of work, although I was the one paying them. 2. They charged me for a basic clean AND a deep clean. They double charged me for the work completed. 3. They erroneously overcharged me for a for a basic blower cleaning. I could have gotten it replaced for that amount. I was a bit confused but figured I'd give the technician or main office the opportunity to explain the charges to me. I never got these concerns out. I was immediately and continually talked over the entire phone call. I knew this was going nowhere fast so I ended the phone call to call the main office. I called the main office and the "manager" had a terrible attitude. I was again, immediately and continually talked over. I was blamed for not being at the property. I was also told that I can't be called/texted/messaged every time the scope of work changes. EXCUSE ME!? You're increasing the price 5 times the original quoted price. You should ABSOLUTELY call/text/message the person who is paying the bill you every single time you go to increase the scope of work especially when you have so many methods of contact readily available. Unprofessional. Terrible business ethics. Horrendous customer service. Do yourself a favor and use another company. read more

I called to get a quote to rekey 8 locks in my residence. First person that answered kept putting me on hold then hung up (I assume this was by accident) - they called back shortly after and I got another person. This person says its $19 for a visit and they can determine "what's involved" with the locks -- I ask "these are standard residential deadbolts I got from Home Depot", what's so involved? He starts going on about having to check what's involved and then asks "can you bring the locks to my store". Really?? I tell him No thank you and I hang up the phone. He calls a few minutes later and says the "owner" says he can do it for $49 per lock (that by the way is double any other Columbia area locksmith I've been quoted so far). I tell him Thank you but I'm not interested to which he then says "F*** You" and thus ends our call. I wouldn't consider ever using this place again. read more

I wish I could give these people negative stars. I called about my dryer about 3 months ago (June 2024) about cleaning my dryer vent as my dryer was taking mult iple full cycles to not even fully dry a normal sized load. The guy (who's name was supposedly Mike) came and said 350 for the cleaning and "sanitizing", which he said would make the vents good for the next 5 ish years, so I thought the 350 price made sense and accepted. He then got to work and brought his brush, shop vac, and sanitizing thing. I previously attempted to clean my dryer air vent myself, but then the brush got stuck. I even told the cleaner guy that the brush was stuck in there and at first he said that he didn't feel anything in the vent, but then after I keep questioning him about it, he said it will be fine and he has done this for 7 years. After about 15 minutes, he finished the job and I paid him. He said if there is any problem then give him a call back so I thought everything would be alright. I did my laundry and then it did perform better than before, either from placebo or because he actually did his job. But then a few weeks later, I'm noticing the dryer no longer fully drying after 1 dryer cycle. Yes, I do clean the lint trap after every use fully and I even cleaned the moisture sensor inside the dryer. I gave him a text to come back and fix it as he said he would come back free of charge if there was anything wrong, and around 4 weeks later here we are, no response. You can either give me my $350 back or come back and do the job right and I will take down this review. read more

last week I found Eagle Air Duct cleaning and contacted them via messeger on January 26th, 2021 about their $99 duct cleaning special. Please know I provided screenshots . They happened to be in the Waldorf area the next day and said they could set up an appointment. I specifically ASKED on the messenger what the special covers, total fees, costs etc. I just wanted to know exactly what I was looking . Im a single mom and these are hard times and every penny counts. you'll see where they mentioned the $99 covered unlimited supply vents and deodorize. they also state they check the hvac system. I opted out of the dryer service but did mention that I just didnt know if there were any taxes etc on top of the $99. If you're gonna quote $99 , that's what I expect to pay not a cent more. Once I sent my phone number and address, I got a call from the owners wife Ronit. she seemed to be fiesty on the phone. She seemed as if she was in a rush to put it. She confirmed my appointment for the next day and I ONCE AGAIN brought up about the $99 and just wanted to confirm that's what I would pay. I told her I didnt need the dryer done. She confirmed the $99 price and didnt say anything else about any fees, taxes etc. FAST FORWARD... NEXT DAY so Eagle Air arrived. (I was introduced to the owner Yaniv Asayag and another gentlemen who was working with him. Yaviv explained that he would inspect and let me know what they were going to do. So consultation went fine. BUT THIS IS WHERE EVERYTHING WENT DOWN HILL FAST ! Yaviv walked over to my work desk and began to write down mulitiple things upon those multiple things were multiple PRICES and CHARGES..My so called $99 went to $690.00!! I asked him twice what was going on with his prices because I wanted the $99. Mind you I know I need my vents cleaned bc they haven't been done in years but as I had asked not only via messenger but via phone about any other charges. Yaviv was charging for EVERYTHING under the sun. I immediately got upset bc thats not what I was expecting . I told him RIGHT AWAY I could not do that price and it was impossible. I pulled up the messenger conversation and asked him who I spoke with the day before. He said it was his wife , I asked him to please look at the conversation about me asking about any other charges. HE REFUSED. He then called his wife and said something to her in another language and whatever he said to her..well it seemed to irritate her. His phone was on speaker and she began to have a LOUD tone with me talking to me like I was a child. She was actually scolding me ! I tried to explain to her that I asked multiple times about charges. She kept talking right over me and wouldnt let me talk. I told her that I asked about these things and that's her profession , not mine! its her job to explain to the customer that upon inspection there is extra costs if extra work is to be done and what was NOT INCLUDED etc. But she didnt do that. (all while she continued to talk/yell over me! She told me TO FORGET ABOUT THE MESSENGER CONVERSATION NOW BC IT DIDNT HAPPEN ...wtf. hell no. I told her I wasnt going to forget the conversation and keep in mind she NEVER STOPPED TALKING OVER ME. It was like arguing with a 2 year old !!!! I ended up telling him that I was done talking to her because she's NASTY! I told him I didnt want his service and I wanted them to just leave. He had the audacity to make a comment that "NORMAL PEOPLE " can pay that amount. ( IN MY MIND I WASNT SURE IF HE WAS BEING RACIST TOWARDS ME WITH THAT COMMENT OR JUST SEXIST. I am mexican/american woman so I wasnt sure ) I had to yell at him asking him if he was gonna pay that then because he's "NORMAL". he ended up being just like his disgusting wife and kept talking over me . I asked him to leave not once , not twice but 5x!!!! I ended up screaming in tears at him to get the F**k out of my house . He was moving slow like molasses. I became EXTREMLY uncomfortable being a single woman alone with 2 men in my home. I had to call my male neighbor to run over to escort them out. ( I want to say the gentlemen that was with him, never said anything nasty to me and was very quiet, almost like he's use to his boss's and his boss's wife behavior, I turned to him at one point and normally asked him to please put my vent back on the wall and he said sure and that was it. all poor behavior was from the owners) Even my neighbor had to pretty much tell Yaviv to be quiet and stop talking to me ! It was only when my neighbor came that Yaviv hustled out my door. Yaviv tried to pull a bait and switch on me and I wasnt having it. He left me in tears with the way I was treated by himself and his wife. He had to the nerve to message me on messenger and send me a message asking me not to leave a bad review. his wife stated she believed I wouldnt pay if services were done?! wth. They even threatened to call police bc I didnt want the service! THEY'RE CRAZY read more

I have contracted Eagle Locksmith twice now for my company. They are fast, efficient and friendly. They were able to determine what lock types we needed via email/text pictures of my lock, which saved time for both parties with unneeded site visits. The service technician was able to make me over 30 keys during the visit and every single key worked smoothly immediately. I also love the desk calendar they sent to our company over the holiday season. I would recommend Eagle Locksmith to anyone looking for fast, local and quality locksmith services. read more

I wouldn't recommend this company at all. What they advertise isn't what they do. Originally they offer a service to clean all vents for $170 then when they get there they up charge for any vent that has more dust then another. They do t use the same tools used on the video and I had to have the service worker come back and finish his job. When I went back to check to see how he did some of my vents were never touched. He also left a dent in my wall taking his vacuum machine down my stairs. He claimed to do a sanitizer on in the vents and that I should smell a difference in the air that was a lie. I still see dust coming from my vents. It was a waste of my hard earned money! read more

Do NOT trust anyone at this company. Worst service I could have imagined. Hired for a chimney cleaning $350- They did not cover anything in the room to protect from ash and debris. They were not professional at all and they did not finish the job. They left the work unfinished and did not vacuum out chimney/soot. Tried to contact for several months for them to come finish the work I paid for and they kept saying they would come but nothing. Wasted hours on end contacting time and again..they finally sent a worker out to come finish the work and clean up the mess he made in the room, hallway, etc because of not covering or preparing the room for the work performed. There was soot everywhere--floors, decor, walls, hallway leading to room. Our walls were covered with black stuff. Very hard to clean. So when the guy came back out it was like he did not want to do any work and was letting the time pass..everytime I checked on him he was at the same point -so we left him there to finish and clean walls etc. He took his hand and smeared the black stuff on the wall as if to make it worse out of being annoyed and then he just left without doing any of the cleaning and without letting us know he was leaving. We called the company and they got rude with us and said they were never come back to our house and they spent too much time there and the person hung up on me on the phone mid sentence. If I could give a negative star I would..this company does not deserve any stars. They are scamming people and their few good reviews are fake. DO NOT USE EAGLE AIR DUCT CLEANING..they also have a locksmith company so dont use anything with the name Eagle. Worst experience EVER! read more

Eagles locksmith was very professional, reliable, responsive, and affordable. I would highly recommend their services in the future.

STAY AWAY ! This company was very responsive but when he showed up and I said we wanted to think about going through with the service, they strongly encouraged doing it that night (8pm) so we trusted their opinion. He said it had to be cash or check and $3000. I asked him to write up the services he was doing and provided me with an "invoice" that gave no specific information and didn't even have the name of the company at the top. By the time they had finished and he left, I did some research and realized that the company with amazing reviews had linked me to THIS company through a third party site link without my knowledge. I realized it was a scam after I looked at the work he did and he cleaned NOTHING of the sanitary waste that was present because of the bathroom flooding. I was furious and called them and tried to speak to a manager but as other reviews have said, there seems to only be 2 or 3 people that work at the company? They apologized said they would come back and clean it the next day. I tried to put a stop on my check but they had deposited it immediately after leaving my house. He came back and cleaned but missed spots, didnt use proper sanitization and didnt bring his own fan. Nor did he even check for moisture levels or water damage. BEWARE OF THIS SCAM! I will be reporting him and filing a consumer complaint. read more

Well, that was easy. We recently bought a new house, AND the deadbolt essentially stopped working this morning. Well, time to bring someone in. I requested quotes and Eagle was the first to respond. Their prices were more reasonable than the other quotes I received and they were unbelievably prompt. The guy would arrive within an hour. I received a call 15 minutes later from the locksmith to confirm the appointment and address. He even offered to come sooner, which was nice. He was here before the scheduled time, tested the lock, quoted up front with no surprises. The lock was a little pricier than expected, but it's going to be what it's going to be. I used the Yelp Deal for $20 off and was happy with a new lock and keys within about 20 minutes. The tech had me test the keys twice to be sure they worked and only then did we complete the transaction. He was very friendly. This business is a scam, all I could say is stay away. We were in the middle of a move and found them via google. I am normally extremely careful and failed to notice the large number of fake reviews on their google account. After calling them, they told me they will call back with details on our carpet cleaning service. What happens next is you get a call from a 3rd party company, which does not even exist. I was given an appointment time for the carpet cleaning. Agent named Johnny texted at 7am on the day of the appointment and said he is from the "Cleaning" company. When he arrived he asked for cash payment, he even offered us a discount if we paid in cash "right there". He kept asking repeatedly "You have the cash now. You need to pay now." Agent Johnny guaranteed that all stains on the carpet will be removed. As we were in the middle of the move, we failed to notice this scam and paid $200 in cash before he started the carpet cleaning service. Afterwards, he was basically done with cleaning in 15 minutes, and started arguing with us that this was the best he could do with cleaning. He then asked for more money as tip and we refused. When I called the company they said there was no record of them servicing our house at all. We have a door camera and the carpet cleaner Johnny was recorded on the door cam when he came. Even after saying this they denied sending him. This place is a scam! Please stay away. read more
