Everything was needed! It really pushed us to our limits lol 5) We would definitely recommend! We will probably do another escape room from this place! Great experience!

We did The Depths (sea mystery) escape room at The Escape Game Concord. Overall, the experience was…read morejust okay. The place itself felt a bit worn down--the rooms weren't very clean, and some props seemed broken or not working as they should. For the price, I expected it to be in better shape, especially since it's not a brand-new location. I also think the one-hour time limit feels a little short; an extra 10-15 minutes would make the experience more enjoyable without feeling rushed. The staff member at the front desk was friendly, but he had trouble with my card and ended up having to enter it manually, which was a little inconvenient. Overall, not terrible, but definitely room for improvement--both in terms of upkeep and value for the price.

Escapology Escape Rooms Charlotte has some strong points. The room themes are well-designed,…read moreimmersive, and visually interesting. Unfortunately, the overall experience fell short compared to many other escape rooms we have played. My group has completed every escape room in Charlotte, along with numerous rooms in other states and several overseas, so we have a broad basis for comparison. One of the biggest issues was the size of the rooms. They felt cramped and crowded, and while the advertised capacity may be higher, the rooms seem best suited for two to four players at most. The puzzles were also frustrating at times. Many of the clues felt overly convoluted, and the room lacked a clear sense of progression. Rather than flowing naturally from one puzzle to the next, the challenges often felt disconnected and lacked cohesion. The game management also impacted our experience. We were told that the game masters were monitoring multiple rooms simultaneously, which appeared to contribute to delays. At one point, we successfully completed a piano-based puzzle multiple times, but nothing happened. After repeating it several times, a game master finally noticed and advanced the puzzle. Situations like this can be particularly frustrating when time is limited. Overall, Escapology Charlotte offers attractive themes and creative room designs, but the small room sizes, inconsistent puzzle flow, and game-master oversight issues detracted from the experience. With some refinements, it could be a much stronger escape room destination.

What a fun time! Myself and 3 others spent our Saturday…read morenight trying to escape the crystal cave mission in concord's BEST escape room. Everything was so high tech and there were no locks and keys we had to keep track of, which is my biggest downfall when competing a room. Everything was entered via iPads on the walls. There was so much detail in the room, which really made the experience great. You could tell a lot of thought and effort went into every aspect of the room. The owner (I think) answered all of our questions and gave us every clue we needed to make it through, without ruining the game. He also took some time after to tell us about how they created the room. Such an awesome time, I would highly recommend! Can't wait to try the next room!

I love the detail in the escape rooms, everything from the glowing letters and numbers to to drop down shelves and drawers that open. This is a Covid safe activity since you are only with your group; I highly recommend Valcarol Missions Scape room in Concord, NC. Thanks Tara for our escape and for helping us save the world!

At the time of my visit there was only one person working and she was in the back taking care of a group. She came out to briefly to answer a few questions and handed me a card showing the different rooms, she then told me to go on the website for more info then darted into the back as I snapped a few photos of the inside. I checked out the website and shared my findings with my teenage son who was not overly thrilled about getting trapped in a room and finding his was out through the clues therein! I guess I'll be back with a more mature group to check out Escape Artist.

I tried calling them multiple times, texting, and leaving a voicemail but received no answers. Some times for rooms required a phone call to book so good thing we didn't have to have those times. We got there on time but just waited in lobby for 10 mins before someone came out, we thought they might have been closed as google says they close at 8pm. We felt rushed into the room and the room says it was a 4/5 difficulty which MAYBE for your first escape room is true but we got done in 30 mins when the room said it had a 30% escape rate. Overall, just felt it was not very well put together and easy. I would recommend for a chill first time escape room but not if you have experience in these or are expecting a very spooky scary room.
