Plenty of parking, right off Highway 49 near the Robinson Church Rd intersection. Decor is clean and well-thought out. There is currently one room, with two more in the works. Theme was great for both the experienced kids and the first-timers. They received just enough help to get out of the puzzle with 2 minutes to spare. It's a great place to spend time with friends thinking! Come out and support local business-we'll be back for sure!

Unfortunately, the overall experience fell short compared to many other escape rooms we have played. My group has completed every escape room in Charlotte, along with numerous rooms in other states and several overseas, so we have a broad basis for comparison. One of the biggest issues was the size of the rooms. They felt cramped and crowded, and while the advertised capacity may be higher, the rooms seem best suited for two to four players at most. The puzzles were also frustrating at times. Many of the clues felt overly convoluted, and the room lacked a clear sense of progression. Rather than flowing naturally from one puzzle to the next, the challenges often felt disconnected and lacked cohesion. The game management also impacted our experience. We were told that the game masters were monitoring multiple rooms simultaneously, which appeared to contribute to delays. At one point, we successfully completed a piano-based puzzle multiple times, but nothing happened. After repeating it several times, a game master finally noticed and advanced the puzzle. Situations like this can be particularly frustrating when time is limited. Overall, Escapology Charlotte offers attractive themes and creative room designs, but the small room sizes, inconsistent puzzle flow, and game-master oversight issues detracted from the experience. With some refinements, it could be a much stronger escape room destination.

We asked for a couple hints and they were very helpful! 2) We loved the decorations! They were really cool! It was very immersive! 3) We escaped! (Barley lol) ( I think we had 1 min left ) (You can find our chip in the escaped box lol) 4) You really had to use your brain and your whole team! We all added different ideas/thoughts! I tried calling them multiple times, texting, and leaving a voicemail but received no answers. Some times for rooms required a phone call to book so good thing we didn't have to have those times. We got there on time but just waited in lobby for 10 mins before someone came out, we thought they might have been closed as google says they close at 8pm. We felt rushed into the room and the room says it was a 4/5 difficulty which MAYBE for your first escape room is true but we got done in 30 mins when the room said it had a 30% escape rate. Overall, just felt it was not very well put together and easy. I would recommend for a chill first time escape room but not if you have experience in these or are expecting a very spooky scary room.
