I had seen a lot about their spicy crab soup so I knew I had to start out with a bowl of it. The bowl came out quickly and enough cannot be said about how delicious it was. Perfect level of spice, consistency, and a flavor that would rival a seafood restaurant closer to the water. After this, I decided to eat their special, a Meatloaf Sandwich. Not my first choice, but after the waitress explained the dish and communicated how delicious it was, I knew I had to try it. I also opted for a side of their Cajun Fries which I have seen a lot of people rave about. The food came out after about 10 minutes. The presentation was beautiful for one, but there was also just a melodic rhythm felt throughout the dish from the cut of the sandwich to the layer of seasoning on the fries. I don't think I have ever seen "pub food" so beautifully prepared before. The sandwich was incredibly and as were the fries. I feel like I could ramble on and on about how incredible of a restaurant this is. From the kind and personable staff, to the wonderful vibes radiating from the place that foster conversation and good times. I understand why this place has stayed in business for so long.
