I set up a work teambuilding event here and we had a great time. Emily and Joey were very enthusiastic and entertaining.

Before we even arrived to the restaurant, we had a wonderful time walking through 4th Ward and admiring the beautiful houses. Alexander Michael's is located in a house that is equal parts beautiful and characterful. Upon entrance, I felt welcomed by the moody lighting, decorations, and cleanliness of the establishment. The waitress and bartender both greeted us. There is plenty of memorabilia, photos, and other keepsakes to gaze at throughout the restaurant. I had seen a lot about their spicy crab soup so I knew I had to start out with a bowl of it. The bowl came out quickly and enough cannot be said about how delicious it was. Perfect level of spice, consistency, and a flavor that would rival a seafood restaurant closer to the water. After this, I decided to eat their special, a Meatloaf Sandwich. Not my first choice, but after the waitress explained the dish and communicated how delicious it was, I knew I had to try it. I also opted for a side of their Cajun Fries which I have seen a lot of people rave about. The food came out after about 10 minutes. The presentation was beautiful for one, but there was also just a melodic rhythm felt throughout the dish from the cut of the sandwich to the layer of seasoning on the fries. I don't think I have ever seen "pub food" so beautifully prepared before. The sandwich was incredibly and as were the fries. I feel like I could ramble on and on about how incredible of a restaurant this is. From the kind and personable staff, to the wonderful vibes radiating from the place that foster conversation and good times. I understand why this place has stayed in business for so long. You won't be disappointed trying out this restaurant which is a wonderful representation of Charlotte and its culture.

The food, service, and overall experience have always been top-notch. I don't know how they make their Cajun fries, but I can confidently say they are truly some of the best fries I have ever had! And don't even get me started on the cucumber dill dressing--it is hands-down the best version of this dressing I have ever experienced. Honestly, it is worth visiting for this dressing alone! Menu Favorites: I have never had a dish I didn't like here. My standout favorites and absolute go-tos are: The What It Is pasta, Penne Athena, Chicken breast sandwich, Reuben, and Chicken breast salad. They feature a great selection of drinks to pair with your meal, including an excellent variety of cocktails, wine, and both international and local craft beers. If you are looking for a spot where the food and neighborhood pub atmosphere are consistently phenomenal, this is it!

I really liked the three (3) sections of the restaurant: the inside downstairs, the outside downstairs, and the area! When I first walked in, the downstairs bartender was such a sweetheart, as she allowed me to try a sample of a drink that I was interested in, and then gave me a recommendation for some other drinks. Even though I was there on a nasty and rainy day, I loved sitting on the upper floor, and that was probably my favorite part of the restaurant. They had what I would say was an average selection of drinks, which I wish was a little more expansive. In addition, not to be mean, but the upstairs bartender gave me arguably the worst pour that I've ever seen in my life. By the time the foam subsided in my beer, it was probably 80% full. Lol. All-in-all, Graham St. Pub & Patio was still a fun restaurant, located within a stone's throw of Bank of America Stadium! Would recommend!

The weather really set the tone for Graham St. Patio & Pub--Charlotte showed OUT for Good Friday…read moreand it was perfect patio vibes. We sat downstairs outside since upstairs was wayyy too loud, but honestly it worked out and wasn't a big deal at all. We started with a well tequila shot (birthday behavior for a sis) and then went all in on appetizers for lunch. We ordered the Asian glazed cauliflower, wagyu sliders, bangin' shrimp, waffle fries, and a mix of street tacos (taco pollo, Korean steak, and elote chicken). Y'all... everything was GOOD. The Korean steak taco and waffle fries were definite standouts, and the taco pollo had amazing flavor. The bangin' shrimp portion was generous too--honestly all portions were enough to enjoy again later that night. For drinks, I had a dirty margarita and a tequila + Topo Chico lime situation (can't remember the name, but it did what it needed to do). Overall, great food, great vibes, and I'll definitely be back!
