We used SpeediShuttle to and from Honolulu Airport twice during our vacation because we took a side trip to Hilo in the middle of our Waikiki vacation. They were pretty good for the airport pickups; had to wait for others, but it wasn't horrible. The drivers were all very personable and helpful with our bags. Our problem was with the hotel pickups. They ask that you be outside 15 minutes before the appointed time, and that the pickup might be 15 later than the appointed time. They came 20 minutes after our appointed time, and then we went on to four different hotels for pickups. We got to the airport 90 minutes before our flight, even though the airline suggested 2 hours. It worked out okay for our Hilo flight, so we kept the reservation for our pickup before our flight home to California. That was a mistake. Pickup was late again, picked up at four or five more hotels again. It was at a busier time and the airport was a zoo. I planned to be at the airport at least 2 hours before (the airline suggests 2-3 before.) We were dropped off at 90 minutes before, then had to deal with the craziness of self-serve bag drop, then the ag inspection line, then security. We also had a 10 minute walk to get to our gate. We got to the gate in time, but without any extra time to get some lunch as we usually do before our flight. I expect a shuttle service to get us to the airport at the time suggested by the airport and airlines, especially when they know it's the busiest time of day. They don't seem to allow for more than one pickup when they schedule a pickup time, and there's no excuse for them to be late when we were the first passengers picked up. Next time I'll pay for a cab or limo service. read more

I've used speedi shuttle many times through the years on Oahu and Maui and unfortunately never will again. 2 weeks ago I used them to get a ride home from the airport and unfortunately left a folder in the backseat of the van which contained my passport and over $300 in cash. I had removed it from by backpack in order to tip the driver so I KNEW the cash was in there. Being so jetlagged flying all the way from Europe back to Maui I didn't even realize I had left it until I was called first thing in the morning. I was told that it would be dropped off at the front desk of the hotel I work at and that I would have to sign and make sure everything was there. I guess I was so tired I didn't even ask about the cash and just assumed this was a reputable company and could be trusted. Anyways, they dropped it off that afternoon and called to tell me it was at the front desk. I told the employee I was supposed sign and he told me not worry about it. I immediately went to pick it up and checked to make sure everything was inside.. everything was except for the cash. I called speedi shuttle immediately and also emailed just about everybody I could find on their website. After not hearing back for an entire week, I sent another email letting them know how disappointed I was with how this was handled. The employee left me a voicemail, finally, letting me know that she had talked to her employees and nobody had seen the money, but they had noticed the foreign currency which they kindly left for me. I know that this is my fault for leaving this in their van and accept full responsibility. The way this was handled though makes me really question this companies integrity and as a concierge for a major hotel chain I will not be recommending this company ever again nor will my colleagues. Maui is a very small place and I am going to make sure I tell all of my friends and family who work in the hospitality industry about this experience. read more

Personally, I will never shuttle with them again. They are more expensive than any other shuttle service and we had an awful experience with the morning pickup. We were supposed to be picked up at 830 for a 1030 flight. He finally came at 845, when we approached him he kindly took another couple a bags and told us (before looking at our ticket) I'm not your driver someone else will come and continued to load the others bags. I tried to explain ours is the 830 ticket and he shrigged his shoulders. I asked if I should I call to figure out where our shuttle was or if he had at eta on the other shuttle, his response was "OK". Finally he looked at the other couples ticket and realized they were on the next shuttle and he was our correct driver. He threw our bags and we arrived 40 minutes before our flight departed. If you like to be early or at least on time to your flights, find shuttles elsewhere. read more

after contacting this company twice prior to pickup, me, my wife and 5 month old baby were refused service from our hotel to the airport because of zero communication between dispatch and the driver. even worse, the driver used foul language and threatened to use physical violence when we insisted he call his boss and clarify our reservations. a freaking nightmare. negative stars. avoid at all cost. read more

I would give this service zero stars. I pre-booked SpeediShuttle and paid by credit card a week prior to my flight from Lihue to Honolulu. I emailed SpeediShuttle to confirm this one day prior to my flight and received a confirmation however on the day of my flight, they did not pick me up from my hotel. I waited for half an hour and eventually called them, they said that the driver was running late and would pick me up from the hotel in another 20-30 minutes time (they expected me to wait for an hour without telling my anything). I ended up catching a taxi as I did not want to miss my flight. I called once I was on my way in the taxi and asked for a refund and again was kept waiting on the phone for a while before they decided to give me my money back. They obvioulsy don't understand customer service or don't care as when I tried telling the employee from SpeediShuttle how upset I was, he just hung up on me. If I had waited for SpeediShuttle I would have missed my flight from Lihue to Honolulu and then my international flight back home. I would not use this service again and would not recommend it to others. read more

We made it down to the shuttle at 7:35am and started to load the bags. By that time the driver and the first passenger were already complaining about being late. Odd, given that our pickup time was at 7:35am. I'm assuming SpeediShuttle booked two different pickup times on the same shuttle with too far a gap in time between them. The driver was very short with my wife, when she went back to get my daughter he yelled at her asking her where she was going. She kindly explained what she was doing. When we were loading up the car she noticed that the car seats were just laying in the trunk still. She stated she needed the car seats and he questioned her as to her need for them. She again explained that we of course needed them for the kids and that yes we ordered them. How did he not know that already? Why did he think they were in the car already? He then proceeded to throw the car seats over the back seat. We then wasted our own time having to install the car seats. We finally left at 7:40am. If he was so worried about time why didn't he install them already? He then started to drive off before we had even finished buckling our children in. During the drive he was also traveling at unsafe speeds. He had no regard for my children's safety. read more

I had to select at least one star to post this but let me tell you our experience . . . They solicited us as we stood waiting on baggage. The conversation was "let us get you to your hotel and also arrange your trip back to the airport. Sounded sweet! We paid on her little handy-dandy portable tablet, collected our bags and headed outside for our ride. We walked up to the person with the clipboard, gave our names, and were told "first come, first serve" - makes sense. A van came about 10 minutes later - no room for us. Still not upset because only a few people waiting so we will be on the next one, right? After another 15 or 20 minutes, no van but a lot more people have now come. I asked the lady with the clipboard "we'll be on the next one, right?" Looks at her clipboard, and plainly answers "yes". About 10 more minutes go by (yes, we are really getting annoyed!) and a van pulls up. Lady with clipboard announces that anyone who pre-ordered over the Internet would get on first. Whaaaaaaat!!!!? You guessed it - no room for us. Another Van pulls up - which hotel are you going to? Sorry, can't take you there; loads another couple to take to their hotel. Serious!!!? Angry doesn't begin to cover this. Now the topper - we call (from our taxi) and they agree to refund our money - that was on the 17th. Today is the 29th. Not only have they not refunded our money for the first ride they didn't provide for us, but they charged another $30 for the return trip to the airport - whaaaaat!!!.? A fool if you sign up for a ride with these people. "Speedy Transport" should be what shows in the dictionary for oxy-moron. read more

Prepare to be annoyed. A minus star rating is more appropriate. I called to book and after given the quote and after agreeing to the service I was transfered to someone who was supposed to take my cc info. Instead she went on about cancelation and their 2 hr notice. I said it doesn't affect me since I won't be able to call. But she insisted on explaining about the traffic, customer complaints due to delays etc. I again explained I won't be able to cancel and in any case I'm already living in hnl so I know the traffic...to my amazement she still insisted on going on about why they have the cancellation policy. I had to interrupt her and ask who in her company can actually help me book this shuttle? Apparently it was no one she was so offended by a direct question, she hung up. The best surprise was I wasn't even angry I was grateful she finally shut up. I called the next company on the list and guess what, no cc info needed, just my name and ph number. The entire process took 1 minute. I hope Speedi shuttle loses more business by continuing to not listen to what their customers ask them. read more

All I have to say is don't waste your time or money!!! Get a cab. Speedi shuttle is a joke. Reserved three weeks in advance and paid in full. Pickup service was suppose to be 12:30. Yeah right! Waited for everyone else to get on the other shuttles and finally got on ours at 1:30. Shuttle has gum on seat I sat on and ruined my pants. Then when it was time to depart from the hotel. They were suppose to arrive at the hotel at 6:45... they did not get to us until 7:30. We called the main office and for some odd reason the driver disconnected his GPS.. so they could not locate him and he did not answer his phone... again very very late and planes do not wait!! So Speedi shuttle is horrible in Honolulu! !!!!!! Get a cab from Charleys taxi. They have vans. Also when I called them to let them know our driver was not with us I asked if I could get our money back so we could take a cab and they said no.. even though they were 45 mins late. I will say the woman at hilton was very kind and was very apologetic.. so she gets 3 stars. read more

If you google Speedishuttle at all, you will quickly find myriads of reviews from customers who were treated poorly, spoken to hostilely, and overcharged for what is advertised as a "luxury service" but through it's staff, has only been proven as an inadequate shuttle service. The staff lacks professionalism. They speak to each other harshly. This would be fine if they were speaking to each other behind the curtains so to speak, but they do this infront of customers. They swear and yell at each other to hurry with reservations and shuttles to arrive at the correct area. Even one of the managers, Diana, participates in this kind of behavior. The shuttles take forever to arrive. The staff fails to provide friendly and customer service. Anyone who is coming to Oahu should arrange a shuttle in advance with somewhere that actually DESERVES your money because of their ability to provide what you want. Do everyone a favor and choose another shuttle service so that Speedishuttle can get shut down. Another shuttle service would be more than thankful for their position and their advantage to be at the gates right away. read more

I HAVE NEVER WRITTEN A REVIEW BEFORE BUT FELT I HAD TO WRITE THIS ONE. If I could rate this zero stars, I would!! The service was horrible, in fact non-existent. If you pay in advance, they will take people who do not have a reservation before you and make you WAIT. They will tell you that your shuttle will be along in 20 minutes, and then after 20 minutes, they will say 20 more minutes, and after you have been waiting for an hour, they will finally tell you that they aren't sure when your shuttle will arrive due to traffic. Believe me there is not much traffic on Maui on Saturday afternoon. We FINALLY (after waiting for over an hour) got a refund for BOTH WAYS, although they tried to only give us a one-way refund. Do NOT waste your time with Speedishuttle. It is anything but speedy!!! We ended up getting a cab for about $10 more each way. The cab driver ended up being the best thing that happened to us while we were there. They recommended all the best places to see and where to eat. Also, the lady who worked for speedishuttle at the airport was very rude and never once apologized. Take a cab or a limo unless you have plenty of time to wait and don't care about missing your return flight or are desperate to save $20 roundtrip. I wish I knew before. I asked for a one way ride for my family of 5 to Waikiki (being as I already had a ride back to the airport from family that lives here in the island) and was told by 3 speedi shuttle employees that its cheaper to take a taxi. I DID NOT WANT TO TAKE A TAXI!!!! I wanted to take the SPEEDI SHUTTLE!!! They did not want to book my ride!!! kept insisting to take a taxi!!! I approach a fourth employee and after talking for a while with her and trying to see why the others did not want to make my reservation was told that these employees get an incentive if they book a round trip ticket and get in trouble from management for one way bookings!!!! WTF??? whatever happened to giving the customer what THEY want ??? I certainly would not want any of my employees giving away money from MY company to a competitor!!! II do not understand and I think management behind this is MESSED UP!!! Luckily, this fourth employee booked me and we were FINALLY on our way to Waikiki...I will not use this service anymore because it was too hard to get anyone to book me for a one way. Worst shuttle service I've used in 30 years and not cheap. Waiting at the curb with van loaded for 25min to see IF Speedi MIGHT get another fare is unacceptable! We arrived 10pm in SEA from LIH 04.28.2016, walked to the pick up location. Waited 10 min for van to arrive, no problem our flight was early. We and another customer waited in the van at the curb while SpeediShuttle waited to see IF another fare MIGHT show up. At +10 min waiting in van driver announced we'd be waiting another 10 min to see IF another customer MIGHT book the shuttle. Another +15 min and another customer showed up. 35 min wait at the curb is totally unacceptable and now took longer than taking the Link Light Rail into downtown. Not so "Speedi" after all. You inconvenienced 2 customers by 25 min wait to see IF you might get another; once you had your two booked paid for customers on board, you should take off esp at 10pm at night. You may have gained another fare that night but you lost 2 customers forever. Check out other reviews on Google's Speedi Review web page, average 2.0 and I know why now. UPDATE: I sent a courtesy copy of my review to SpeediShuttle, they replied right away and acknowledged the wait time was too long and that the problem, from their view, was that dispatch did not update the driver on the earlier landing of the flight and that waiting from 9:50 -- 10:26pm was normal if the flight was on time; problem from my view was making 2 clients wait for a possible new client; they gave me a refund and offered a free return transfer to Airport, but we had already taken the Link Light rail in SEA to SEA-TAC.
