Friendly crew, but I guess that should be expected given that this is a tourism industry business. Unlike Roberts Hawaii, which used to have the shuttle contract at HNL, they take way too long at their stops, thus adding more time for you to get to your destination. To top it off, I was unable to cancel my return trip to the airport (don't get sucked for their round trip discounts), because no one is around to answer their phones! It's a shared but luxurious van that is a little cheaper than a taxi from the airport to Aiea. The initial wait was longer than the usual for a taxi but the ride was more pleasant. The driver pointed out some touristy-things as we were going so it wasn't "just" basic transportation. I'd use the service again as long as I could spare 15-20 minutes for a shuttle. read more

We used this shuttle service for the first time last month for our stay at Aulani and we were extremely impressed! The shuttle was roomy and clean and was a pretty smooth ride. Our driver Daniel, nice big island boy, was professional and friendly which was an added bonus to the low price in comparison to a cab. I mean, have you rode in a cab recently? We got the service for ~$27 per head roundtrip to/from the airport. Since we were only two people and were unfamiliar with the taxi wages, we opted to take this service upon arriving to Honolulu. We walked up to the workers and asked for two spots for a shuttle. The staff was nice but the wait was about an hour until we actually got on a shuttle. After that, we were the last ones to be dropped off in he shuttle which took about another hour. I would've rather paid the extra money to take a taxi and save two hours of waiting. Arriving in Hawaii for our honeymoon after 13 hours of traveling was thrilling. We were greeted by a young woman from Speedi Shuttle at baggage claim with leis and told to meet her once we got out bags. We were on cloud nine. After meeting back up with her and others that would be on our shuttle we waited OVER 1 hour for a shuttle. There were lines of travelers waiting for their Speedi Suttles. We were told the wait was because "all of the flights were coming in at the same time". This answer is unacceptable when you book in advance they should be prepared for the number of travelers arriving at certain times. All other passengers from the incoming flights were gone already with their respective shuttle companies. The shuttle itself was in great condition and the driver was fantastic - his name was Mike - mahalo Mike! We cancelled our ride back to the airport with them for fear of them being late and used another company. read more

Booked this service through Expedia. I'm not blaming Expedia but I think this company can learn how to communicate with each other. First off, when they picked me up from the airport to the hotel, they could not find my name in their manifest. All I got from the girl who works there is "she can't read it". Waited around till I finally had to call and get someone on the phone. Not a good way to start my trip in "paradise". So I chose to have them take me back to the airport. The driver Bob Taylor showed up late. I was told to be ready by 8:25. He didn't show up till 8:40. I asked if I could sit in the front because I get car sick. He basically said "if your going to throw up you need to sit in the back". I just looked at him appalled by his comment then he proceeded to say. "Im only joking, can't you take a joke?". I'm sorry, I've only meet you for 5 minutes. I had made a comment that he was late and he got offended. He stated to me "don't you start with me" He kept on arguing with me until I finally had to tell him to stop taking to me during this ride to the airport. Not only was he rude to me, he was rude to the other passengers who barely spoke English. He also kept arguing with one of the customer who might have told him the wrong airline to be dropped off at. He wanted to make his point across on her telling him she was flying out of China Air but when we got to the airport, she said it was Philippine airline. Who cares, they were right next to each other. I have never experienced this type of customer service anywhere. He was rude and argumentative. I thought this company was an established company with customer service friendly employees. I guess you get what you pay for. I should have read all the Yelp reviews before booking this service through Expedia. Lesson learned! One last tip: If it's 90 degrees outside maybe leave the car running with the air on while you get out of the car for the passengers your picking up. He kept us in the van with no air and no open window. It gets pretty hot in the van. Just a thought. read more

With three small children, we didn't plan to leave the resort during our recent trip to Oahu. We lined up SpeediShuttle for both ends of our stay to get us to and from Ko'Olina. The arrival went seamlessly, and they were helpful with luggage. Most importantly, they had remembered to bring the carseat we requested on our reservation for my youngest. On the return, however, they forgot to bring it despite the fact that I had called twice beforehand (including the day before!) to confirm the time and the car seat listed on our reservation. They promised me it would be there, yet the driver arrived with a shuttle full of people and luggage and no car seat. He was rude and defensive, claiming it wasn't his fault it wasn't listed on his piece of paper and that he was leaving so I had to get in or wait an hour and a half for another shuttle. If we chose the latter, we'd have missed our flight (again, three children ages 1, 3, and 5 ... we didn't have a lot of options). We ended up in traffic on the highway, illegally holding my son in my lap. I was irate. After the trip, I called three times and emailed twice to request a refund for that leg of the trip and discuss the driver's flippant behavior regarding the safety of our baby and the legality of car seats on the road. They never responded, I never received a refund, and I'm taking to yelp. Do NOT rely on them for a car seat for your child or trust that those issues of importance to you will be taken seriously by SpeediShuttle. read more

The only reason I am giving them two stars is because I used them twice while in Hawaii recently. The trip from the airport to my hotel went very well (however, I was upsold for the return trip from my cruise ship to the airport and that's where it went poorly). For pickup last Saturday I scheduled for 930 am. When I talked to Speedishuttle (callng and confirming everything before I set sail) they told me no problem, just go outside the terminal and give the representative my name and I'd be taken care of. Well, I arrived at port, gave the representative my name, and they told me "you can get on the next shuttle (2 were there at that time). 15 minutes later w more showed up and I tried to get on - and was again told - the next one would be mine and my wife's. This was a bold lie; becuase as the next one arrived another 15 minutes later I was told, sorry, this one isn't going to the airport, the next one is yours. I gave up after waiting for almost an hour in the hot sunnn and walked out and took a ctaxi to the airport even though I had prepaid for Speedishuttle. (And it was literally the same price I had paid speedishuttle - no higher - so much for cheaper and better service). I even told the gentleman running the "rosters" of people to get on each shuttle that this was one poorly run business to not be running enough shuttles to handle the people that had prepaid for thier transportation and his only response was "I'm not running the business." I just want to thank Speedishuttle for bringing my vacation to a lousy close after 10 other beautiful days in Hawaii. read more

As I'm Driving on the freeway, looking in my review mirror here come a shuttle speeding, like a cop chase. Where the hell you got your drivers license, From Savers, you cut me off with no signal at all also cut off other drivers on the road. How I know they pumping their horn at you. And of course there's a bunch of people in the shuttle, come on you guys risking other peoples lives there ain't Kool. I see this 3 nights in the row driving crazy on the road to Waikiki even living out of Waikiki . Like Tonight between 11:15pm -11:30pm speeding towards the zoo frickin drifting taking the left turn to on to kapahulu speeding 60 on a 25 speed limit really. Oh by the way this happen on jan 29, 2013. I go Waikiki mostly every night to Pick up my spouse and seeing how your drivers drive. Is so dangerous, reckless drivers, will one day hurt a person or injured your customers on the shuttle bus. Not because it called speedishuttle and it's ok to drive and speed, it's not ok when you Driving dangerously on the road. You guys might cause someone life on how the way you guys drive. So stop being speed racer and cutting us off the road and be a better and safer driver . Booked a round trip at the airport. Drop off at our hotel was fine. Pick-up on the return however was awful. Pickup scheduled for 11:30. We were out on the curb 10 minutes early. 11:40 no shuttle. Called customer service line and waited on hold for quite some time before a representative picked up. I was told they were definitely on the way and nearby but were running behind. By noon, 30 minutes past our scheduled pick up time, I gave up and took a cab. I will be calling my credit card company to dispute the charges. read more

My boyfriend and I took speedi shuttle from the Honolulu airport to a local residence, and then from a hotel back to the airport. Both times we got picked up quickly and there was no hassle at all, and the reservations were real easy to make. Super friendly drivers, drove safely, and even with all the traffic got us to where we were going in an efficient manner. Both drivers opened the doors for us and took our luggage and put it in the back for us, which was really nice. And the seats were comfortable! read more

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! IT WAS MY FIRST AND DEFINITELY MY LAST TIME TO USE THEM!!! We reserved our reservation 5 days before our departure on 8/30/2013. The girl on the phone was good and I got the email confirmation right away. She said the company would call me one day before to remind me. The pick up time was scheduled for 9:00am pick up on 8/30. On the pick up day, I called them at 8:00am to confirm my pick up since they didn't call me the day before. They told me to go stand outside by the curb at 8:45am to wait for the driver. WE WERE STANDING THERE FOR OVER ONE HOUR UNDER THE HOT SUN. We started to get nervous about the time by 9:25am. We tried to call the company from 9:25am but all circuits were busy busy busy!!! I finally got through the line at 9:40am and they said they were on the way but didn't know when. My flight was 11:30am!!! I told them to cancel my reservation and I want my money back. I wanted to take a taxi. They said I could not get the my money back because I cancel too late. I told them I either got a shuttle from them right away or we were going to see them in court to get my money back and my flights cost if we miss our flight. They finally said they would send a rescue driver in 15 minutes. We finally got our RESCUE DRIVER at 10:00am. He said he had to make one more stop to rescue another angry customers like us. The customers pick up was also over one hour late too. I was so done with them. I would give this company NO STAR if not because the rescue driver was so patience and nice. He told us our reservation was not even on their schedule on the day. Then he said the original driver said he couldn't find us. It was all lies and B.S. He could call me since I was holding my phone the whole time. Overall, it was a terrible company, terrible customer service(they told us just keep waiting...no sorry or no estimate time) I kept asking them what meant soon. How many minutes?????? If I could give negative stars, I would! We were scheduled with Speedi Shuttle through Southwest Vacation we paid for round trip transportation. First off Speedi Shuttle was late picking us up. When we did find them the loading of the shuttle was not organized. But that was not the bad part.... On the retune trip I tried calling them to confirm our pickup. I was on hold for over an hour before the hung up, TWICE! They never showed up. We hired another shuttle to get us to the airport just in time to make our flight. I contacted Southwest Vacations to let them know and request a refund. Speedi Shuttle LIED to Southwest and stated we were a no show... So in addition to being unorganized and not picking us up they are LIERS! I will never recommend or use Speedi Shuttle or Southwest Vacations. Shame on Southwest, they should do their homework be for booking the customers with this or any company, Speedi Shuttle has horrible reviews, and all the complaints are the same. I haven't used this service, but my grandma was lost and in a panic at the airport & they took the time to calm her and help her to fix her phone so she could call her friend to take her home. Lynn & Grace were extremely helpful and very nice to help her even though she was not a customer. read more

This shuttle service has been a saving grace for me when I come to Kauai! I have used them for my last six trips, and pick-ups are easy to set up, the drivers are very interesting and knowledgeable and the price does not break the bank. It is a blessing to Kauai to have this service, and I will continue to use them. read more

If you are a tourist going to one of the major hotels, no problem. But if you are going to a local address other than a hotel, forget about it. 1 hour wait from arrival when promised 15-20 minutes. The whole crowd of tourist with reservations or not were gone. I was left standing waiting for information about our shuttle. No management at gate. We were told if we wanted to speak to a manager then we would have to go baggage claim F. We we at baggage claim C. Our greeter kept saying 15-20 minutes after 15-20 minutes had gone by. No assistance was given except to wait as I had made reservations and pre-paid for my shuttle. I finally called reservations number to speak to manager, to be told that the shuttle was on it's way and would arrive in shorty. I was already on the shuttle by then. Manager offered $10 credit, which I felt was not enough. Then he said he could give me free return trip plus $10. I took the $10 BUT refused the free trip as I will never use this service again. read more

If there was a negative star, I would have rated it with that, 1st the driver was late, 2nd the ground person at the airport said to the driver to drop off kahala first, did not happen, it was last, 3rd driver was rude, 4th driver took us through the ghetto to get to Kahala, this was the first time going that way, and I have gone many times. 5th went over bumps like a ride in Disney, 6th luggage rolling around every turn knocking into the side walls. 7th many phone calls to speedi no help, 8th finally after 30+ phone calls to speedy, they would send a upgrade to take us to the airport on return, did not happen, their excuse was traffic. 9th took cab to airport, speedi said we would be credited by Viator (full refund) and reimbursement for the cab fare, today is January 11th, and still nothing from both Viator and Speedi, I will copy this to my yelp review, I beg everyone never to use this service. $100.00's of dollars of my time wasted. Booked this shuttle December 2014 from our hotel to HNL. The woman who booked it at their little kiosk was nice. The price for 2 people was only like $22. The shuttle was on time the next morning to pick us up, we made 2 stops at other hotels, then arrived at the airport without problems. The driver was nice and loaded and unloaded the luggage. Don't trust this company at Honolulu airport. The pushy sales rep insists on prepaying a round trip and promises that the shuttle will leave in 15 minutes. I waited 45 minutes for the shuttle to be crowded and the driver doesn't indicate the many stops, it was very long and complicated to reach my hotel. Above all I was injured in the leg and hospitalized during my stay (November 2016). I was repatriated from Maui by ambulance so I canceled the shuttle return. They told me the only way for a refund was to go to Honolulu airport, which was obviously impossible ! Back in France I asked for a bank transfer for this paid and unused service. The bank would charge them $10 so they are unable to fulfill my request. I answered I was surprised they prefer saving $10 rather than having a satisfied customer. So they proposed to send me a check but it's me who will have fee to get my money back ! No refund, only contempt. If I had read all those negative reviews before I would have picked a better option : a uber or a taxi. SpeediShuttle is slow, disorganized and the customers service doesn't exist. read more

We booked this shuttle service well in advance of our vacation to Aulani. When we finally found them wandering by baggage claim, they weren't particularly helpful. He was pretty friendly, but kept postponing our departure from the airport. Four of us needed to get to Aulani, and we were the only ones in the van--that is until our driver thought it would be ok to pick up his friend from work and take her to her house, several miles the opposite direction of where all the paying customers were headed. This detour took the better part of a half an hour, and that was on top of the fact that it had taken quite a long time to just leave the airport. While I can't say anyone was rude or unfriendly, I wasn't entirely uncomfortable being taking to a strange, dark neighborhood in an airport shuttle and making a stop that wasn't a hotel or tourist destination. read more

Had pre arranged and paid for transportation. When I arrived I followed their instructions, but could see no one looking for me or a sign with my name on it. I had to find them. Then we were told to wait and the shuttle would be coming. No problem. Waited for what seemed 30 minutes ( may of been less) and was told that I was to be pit on another shuttle that they said would be quicker as it had less stops. Still waiting ( again seemed like 20 minutes) and finally on our way to the hotel. Don't know why I had to be kept waiting twice when I had pre booked? I understand that the shuttle needs to fill up before departing but I think an hour is a little bit to long. I could of been at my hotel if I took a taxi. Our driver was swerving all over the road and slamming on the brakes for no good reason. Then at a traffic light our driver fell asleep. As soon as we reached our condo I called to cancel our second leg back to the airport, someone answered the phone and then hung up on me. I had a overall good experience. The driver taking us to the hotel was talkative. Mostly good things. Was upset Asian were taking over the island. He told us some good things to do and places to go. Had no issues. On the way back to the airport the driver didn't speak what so ever. Did say "Mahalo" when he gave us our luggage , I tried to tip him but he didn't make eye contact so I could give him a tip....like he was in a rush. Over all good - 4 stars. For our honeymoon, my husband and I decided to vacation in Waikiki for 3 nights and 6 nights in Maui. Since we were in Waikiki for a short stay I decided to book a shuttle to bring us from and to the airport. Our hotel Aqua Bamboo suggested SpeediShuttle so I went ahead and booked with them. BIG MISTAKE! When we arrived in Honolulu (after a 12+ hours in airplanes & airports) we went to the meeting point to be picked up for the shuttle. There were two people there but they were so disorganized. They took our luggage and placed it on a luggage cart and asked us several times what hotel we were going to while we waited for them to get a full shuttle. Although our trip to the hotel was disorganized and a mess we decided to give them the benefit and use them again to be transported back to the airport. An EVEN BIGGER MISTAKE. They called and confirmed the pick up time the night before and I asked if that would be adequate time so that we would not be rushing to catch our flight. The person confirmed that it was plenty of time. Pick up time was at 8:15am and our flight was at 10:52am but they did say for us to wait in front of the hotel as it could be 20 mins early OR 30 mins after the pick up time. Well 8:45am came and went... We called and called and got confirmation that they were on their way but did not get picked up until well after 9am. We even saw several other SpeediShuttles drive by us. One actually stopped at the hotel next door and said that he wasn't our shuttle. How disorganized can a company be? Finally we asked the front desk to call us a cab, as we could not wait any longer. Sure enough the shuttle arrives. We get on the shuttle and we are the only ones. He had to pick up 3 other couples at different hotels. On top of it, he didn't do the pick up in order.... We actually drove back by our hotel to pick up another couple and wasted even more time. By the time we got to the airport it was past 10am and we were freaking out that we would miss our flight. Luckily we were flying to Maui on Island Air therefore we did not have to go through a huge line in security. So much for planning ahead, next time we would just get a cab and save some stress. Beware, cheap but not so speedy! We were waiting for the shuttle in front of the hotel for a 11:30AM pick up. At 11:33 we saw the shuttle zoom by the hotel without stopping. So we called and they took almost 5 minutes to pick up the phone. They stated it would be about 5 - 10 minutes. They ended up being over 30 minutes late for pick up from the hotel. SHUTTLE FROM HNL: We booked the shuttle at the same time we booked our hotel and apparently the only shuttle service they offered was the Speedi Shuttle service. They said that it would take 45-1hr to get to Aulani but it took 23 minutes. Maybe they think that we would have had to wait for another party. Pick up was prompt although I had to ask another shuttle service where the Speedi shuttle service was - there was no sign with our name on it at the airport so that was a little frustrating. But, BE WARNED: our driver fell asleep at the wheel!!! - First my husband noticed lots of rumble-strip riding and drifting and then we looked in the rear view mirror and saw closed eyes!!! I yelled "wake up!" which woke up everyone on the shuttle plus the driver - then I tried to laugh it off to make light of the situation. I wasn't going to let my family die 4 mins away from my dream vacation. On the way back to the airport from Aulani - lo and behold, we got the same driver and my husband was sitting next to him and he still almost fell asleep and was drifting out of his lane claiming that the van was top heavy and it was windy outside (it wasn't). So if you take speedi shuttle, don't fall asleep - lest you never wake again. Watch the driver and keep him awake. read more

Getting to the hotel is ok, takes a while because they sell to too many people and you wait in line to get into a shuttle. But don't buy the return to the airport fare in advance. It is a scam. They dont show up when they promise so you are going to pay for a taxi The company cannot be reached to schedule the return trip to the airport either via web site, which says please call the phone support. When you call the phone support, it is a never ending loop of one person connecting to another number and another number. You will never get through to someone who actually takes your request. They will always connect you to a phone that keeps ringing. I tried 11 times within 2 days. Finally gave up. Instead Call "Roberts Hawaii Express" Shuttle. They will pick up the phone. 1-800-831-5541. Same price they pick up the phone on the first ring. read more

Greater didn't show up. Come to find out when i verbally booked this agent in the phone stated personal car. I called the office back when greeter wasn't there and went to passenger pick up area and no one was there. I was told to go back into baggage claim. After awaiting another ten minutes inside i called back and inquired what the hell is going on. Was told greeter on the way. Asked why even needed a greeter, get me my driver. Was then told that my res was for a shared shuttle. This is not what i booked. At this time, asked for a manager on the phone. She was as helpful as my nonexistent greeter. Greet final showed up and stated she was confused on her sheet she was reading on her customers arrivals. She then pointed to the shuttle area and stated a van would be by soon. When i stated that her manager just told me that i was to be escorted to a van she they walked us over. The whole reason I wanted a private car was NOT to be delayed after a long flight and to get a jump start on rush hour traffic. Stay away for this service- reviews are true.
