Spectrum with only one person to serve customers

There were 8 customers in the store when it opened at 10am. The other sales person disappeared to the back and never reappeared by the time we left. Also, I do Not like the constant upselling. The "it's free for 90 days and then $30 per month" for unnecessary items.

Price. They charge $84 a month for virtually the same internet I can get from Astound for $30. They are no longer the only game in town.

For the THIRD time we go and try to change our Mobile service to them!! Can't help us because of no picture id! Are you kidding me?

No attempt to find out what I might be looking for or if there was any other way she could help me or offer me another option. Just no. Me: Okay, thanks, um, bye? I was running errands and realized I was right by them so I popped in and asked a question related to an offer I had seen. Again, "No." Just no. There were no other customers. She didn't have any reason to think I was the same person who had called (like maybe something had offended her on the 1st call?) She was just standing there doing nothing but still couldn't be bothered to engage me and try to assist me or make a sale. Again, I wanted to buy a new phone TODAY. Something is wrong with this place. They REALLY don't want your business. What is this? A drug front? Kidding (not kidding?)! 4/6 Quick followup edit: I later called customer service and got a really great woman on the line who more than helped me. She gave me the inside scoop on getting an even better deal than I had been looking for. She was genuinely funny, and friendly, and helpful. This evening I made another call and got another amazing customer service agent. He was so funny and helpful! What is this - Opposite Day? If T-Mobile is trying to suck less than usual, they're doing a great job w/ their call center. But the franchises? I don't know what their story is but I was glad to not have to step foot into one of their stores again.

Came in today to make a bill payment. I was told that they didn't accept credit/debit cards ("cAsH…read moreOnLy"), which is flat out bullshit because I have paid my bill here before with my debit card. It would've been pointless to tell him this though because a) it wouldn't have changed anything and b) I wasn't interested in hearing any more nonsense.

It was time for a new phone. A new updated technical device awaited me and even though I am a let…read moreout I knew it was time to get a new phone. We were greeted immediately by friendly staff, and it only took a few moments to find the models of phone. I wanted to look at. my husband was also able to solve an issue with an older laptop computer that we had and he only had to wait about 10 minutes to get that service and only about five minutes to get it updated. The staff were really friendly and patient and explained everything so we could understand it all. Despite many offers from my service provider, I decided to take the plunge and buy the phone. I knew I wanted it enhanced photographic ability and read about the phones online before I went to the Apple Store. That made it a lot easier to make a selection once I was there and the knowledgeable sales staff really helped me to compare my old phone with the upgrades in the new phone. I chose the new 17 because of the enhanced photo and video capability. I was able to get one right away from the store. I also got this safety screen put on there and paid for insurance for my phone for a year. The only thing left to do was set it up, which I did at home and found to be incredibly easy. Enjoy my new photos and reviews using this new Apple phone.

End of May I went into my local T-Mobile store, the manager Derric Bringham scammed me to join…read moreT-Mobile. He offered me the 'best plan' for $70 (when I later learned it was $105 per month). I told him my current bill was $115 per month and I would switch today bc I was happy with the offer. 2 days after I joined I received my 1st bill. I went back and said to Derric 'hey my bill says $105' he said it was an error/first time billing issue and he gave me a 'courtesy credit' to bring my bill back down to $70. The following billing cycle it was again $105. I texted him (which I have screenshots of) saying 'Derric my bill is $105 again can you please fix it'. I texted him twice about it over a week and a half and both times he told me he was working on fixing it with a supervisor from customer service. Of course I never heard back from him and the bill was never fixed. I was done with him bc I was so disgusted that he scammed me so I contacted T-Mobile directly. The supervisor I spoke with said that he offered me a rate that they can't support and I would have to stick with the $105 or take another plan. I said if you do not come through and provide me with the same plan and rate he offered then I will leave. The best she said she could do was offer me $70 for 3 months. So I paid the $70 and guess what, my next month's bill was back up to $105 again. (The supervisor also told me this is an issue that with their retail employees and many calls from upset people like me.) As you can imagine that was my last straw so I left and went to another carrier paying even less than what Derric even offered me. FYI, when I found out Mint Mobile was recently bought out by T-Mobile I decided against them as of my abhorrent experience with T-Mobile. I have spent hours of my time dealing with this horrible service and will be spreading the word to anyone I know including online reviews like this to run from T-Mobile. Derric should be investigated and possibly fired, this was absolutely unacceptable. I will also be reporting this to the CFPB (Consumer Financial Protection Bureau).
