Yesterday, May 20, Our electricity was turned off so PG@E could replace some poles. Peak wifi noted this and tried to contact us to check if they could help. Of course, with NO electricity, they could not. When power was back on we emailed back what had happened. They then thanked me for the feedback. That has been true of all their services. We love them. read more

Keanu and another gentlemen came to do a new install of internet in a remote area in Arroyo Grande. My internet is the speed of light and I am so thrilled with the service!!!!! They are not satelitte based so they can offer fast speeds! The techs are just fabulous and so knowledge. Best of all the sincerity they exude, you can tell they are not trying to BS upsell you on every breath you take. Great company and I am very impressed with their business model whereby customer service is inclusive. Way to go Peak Wifi, super impressed and you have a loyal customer here! ;) ALSO the first class trucks with wraps are A+ and just beautiful. read more

Great efficient, and knowledgeable service. Would definitely use them again if I needed help.

Fantastic service. They take care of you, respond quickly and great wifi speeds, even though we are in a rural, hard to get service area.

Peak is always responsive when we have any issues have been customers for 4 years and they always come out and help when we having problems

So you moved to the country from the city, and realized that when it comes to internet, you'll need to make some concessions. There aren't many options out there, and you want to make sure you're not going to get the kind of customer service that the big ISPs give you in the city (I have been hung up on by Spectrum many times while trying to resolve simple issues). Look no further. Peak wifi has an incredible staff of people who deliver peak (pun intended) customer service and will go out of their way to get you the best possible connection. It took me some time to adjust to slower download/upload speeds coming from city internet, but you will soon realize that other than very large downloads (which can often be accomplished at night), you don't need much to be able to browse the web, game, or stream. After doing lots of research, the Point-to-point connection that Peak Wifi offers is far above satellite and cellular options when it comes to internet. After a short jump, you're back on that fiber backbone and getting some (relatively - remember, this is still rural internet) great speeds at great prices. Specific shoutout to Keanu -- one of the incredibly knowlegeable technicians who works for PeakWiFi -- he is experienced, dedicated to quality, and has the best attitude in the business. From the installation appointment I knew I was in good hands as he moved the antennae on my roof to the optimal location (the previous owners had peak installed many years prior), tested to make sure my speeds were tip-top, moved where the cable was coming into my house so that I could connect directly to it in my office (I work from home), and helped move me over to the optimal relay point when my speeds were a little shaky at first. I couldn't commend him more for his customer service, which extends to everyone I've interacted with at PeakWiFi. Give this man a raise! Very pleased with my current set up, and extremely happy with the service and support at PeakWifi. Thanks! read more

Recently, the company CEO reached out to me to address my less than great connectivity. He made sure that my issues were addressed in a timely fashion. Additionally, there have been some upgrades done in the area just a couple weeks ago. I can safely say that as of last week, my internet connection is the strongest/fastest it has been for over two years. Thank you, PEAK Wifi, for resolving our issues and accommodating my work schedule for a visit. read more

Everything was seamless, they went above and beyond on all levels. Quick, painless, and so much better than xfinity on all levels.

Great service & people! We live in an a unfriendly WiFi place - See Canyon and Peak has really come through for us. Responsive customer service that is always friendly. Our technician is helpful & knowledgeable. They help trouble shoot when things don't work and always find a solution. As someone who works from home & with kids on-line everyday doing school - we're grateful for reliable & fast WiFi. This is an awesome local SLO company. read more

Three months in with Peak and we couldn't be more pleased. They installed internet into our Airstream trailer and it has run great since day one. The young man who installed the equipment was professional, nice and quick! We moved the the trailer today and lost thought we had lost connection. With a quick call and a little trouble shooting we were back up and running in minutes. It was soooo nice to speak with someone so quickly who easily walked us through a couple checks and viola! Hats off to you guys. Your customer service and business is top notch! Jenna & Jonathan read more

I now love in the country, and find the service and quality of Wi-Fi signal to be top notch .

We had a wifi problem on our TVs in our RV which we parked at Pacific Dunes Ranch RV park. Since we purchased a whole week of wifi and it died on us after a couple of days, we called Peak wifi and they promptly sent a technician over. Freddy was our technician and the guy is a genius at fixing these kind of wifi problems. Customer service was great! We highly recommend Peak Wifi and Freddy. Great company and excellent customer service. Tamara and Craig Jones read more

This is a phantastic company. We switched over a few years ago after pulling our hair out for years while being on AT&T's DSL. Their customer support is fast, very personal (people, not robots), and very friendly. The internet service is very reliable, and speeds are usually better than what they advertise. Installation was a breeze. I also switched over a company in SLO, and a friend in Nipomo. Both are very happy with their new service. Keep up the good work guys. read more

During the rainstorms we lost power for two days and with that our Internet and everything from AT&T was also down. When power resumed, AT&T gave us a repair estimate of over a week for phone and dsl. This frankly caused us to question providers, not simply because of this incident, but many other service issues in the past and an overall feeling that our business wasn't very important. I posted on Facebook and it overwhelming responses were to consider Peak Wi-Fi. I took a look at other yelp reviews and saw that people overall just raved about the service and quality of the product they delivered. I messaged the company on yelp, got an instant reply, and set an appointment for them to assess if we were a good candidate for their service. The call and installation went well and we now have double the speed for both uploads and downloads. The service has been very consistent and we are extremely happy. If you are lucky enough to be in any one of their areas (and I believe they have over 19 towers now on the Central Coast ) consider giving them a call and moving to this company. They are local and they care! read more

We switched to Peak in 2017 & have been very pleased. We live just out of reach of other providers & their service & staff are always helpful & professional. read more

Very disapointed with their service. It took a week to come out to set up our service, the tech said he had to check with a neighbors tower and would get back to me ASAP, two days went by and no communication. When I called the company and spoke with him, he told me that there was no way to get service to us and would put me on a list in case service became available. Had I not called, I would have been waiting till who knows when. A simple call stating they couldn't get service to us would have been all I needed. Call Advanced WIFI, they were out in one day with perfect service! read more

We have been customers for years and there is a reason why. We receive dependable WiFi and individualized customer care. Their staff of technicians and support are very knowledgeable. Their response times is amazing. We cannot recommend Peak WiFi enough. read more

My wife and I moved to the outskirts of Arroyo Grande and never once did we consider our internet options. Charter wouldn't service our home, and AT&T service is terrible. You pay for service, and after all the data loss you get about half what you pay for. They also have terrible data caps, which for us leads to a lot of overage fees because we cut the cord and only use netflix, Hulu, and prior to watch tv. Peak wifi was recommended to us by a friend and after a short delay with getting a tower near corbette canyon, we're now connected. We've had the service for about eight months and it has been amazing. No down time, I get the speeds I pay for and best of all no data caps. The last thing I have to add is I recently got a flyer from a competitor, which had better pricing. I called up peak, and they had already adjusted their pricing, so I'm getting more for what I was paying for before. Great job staying competitive. read more

Peak Wifi has amazing customer service and a great product. I live in an area with no land-based internet options, and a few wireless options. Up to this point I had been "surfing" the net, and I was not happy. Constant drop-outs up their chain, and poor customer service response. I chanced across Peak Wifi, found out the owner is a neighbor, and made a call. The prices are fair, there is no data cap, and their technician is top-notch. They accommodated the special requirements I had with no fuss. I'm proud to be a customer. Their customer support team is fantastic. Nearly instant responses to emails make me feel valued as a customer. No form emails or auto-responders here. Peak Wifi seems to take the customer seriously. I plan on sticking around as long as they maintain their home-town attitude! read more

This company has been fantastic since I switched from Hughes Net. The office staff and techs (Haley & Spencer) have gone above and beyond to service my internet needs quickly!! I appreciate you all do very much!! Thank you all! VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! read more

Peak WiFi ... IDK where to start. THEY ARE THE BEST. I was using Ranch WiFi and struggling whenever service would go out (too frequently). When I was told by them to contact "an IT Professional" that was enough-- So I contacted Peak WiFi...on a Sunday and they were here at 9:30am the next day! I am back up and running and very impressed with their service!!! Kenneth, their installation professional was efficient, polite and knowledgeable-- definitely a credit to Peak WiFi!!! Thanks you so very much. read more

Outstanding company - I live in rural AG with about three service providers with microwave connections. Our prior provider went down with the floods (understandable) and was out for over 4 days. What frustrated me was they provided no response on what was wrong or an estimated time to reinstate service. I finally got fed up on Day 4 and based on recommendations on NextDoor and great Yelp reviews, I called Peak. They set me up with a same day appointment with Chris. He came out right on time, determined we had line of sight for service and installed my system on the spot. They made it easy to get the account set up, will start billing me NEXT month, were $30 a month cheaper than my old service, and required no long term contracts. Chris even waived my installation fee. He also said the underground cable out to the pole in the yard was not the best installation, so he is coming back next week to move the antennae to the eve of my house and route new cable to our AV box. And I also learned from Chris that he is a native of this area and Peak is a locally owned company with all their own service techs and trucks. Top notch service at a great price - I highly recommend Peak. read more

This service is the best. Responsive customer service. Good people. Best pricing. Tom and his crew are just what I was looking for in a local business that cares. Unheard of. I strongly recommend. read more

We have lived here since 1975. The closest cable service is miles away. Phone lines connecting us to Arroyo Grande were installed in the 1930s and have not been replaced. Fiber does not reach our property, and the sporadic service provided by AT&T through the rural fiber network is frustrating - at an unreasonable high cost. Over the past 25 + years we have tried dial-up, DSL, and satellite internet, none of which has been reliable. Peak WiFi provides the only uninterrupted reliable service to operate and monitor our solar electric as well as our safety and security systems. read more

My wife and I live on See Canyon Rd in San Luis Obispo. We purchased our home in July of 2015. We "inherited" a satellite ISP and had very poor service primarily due to latency issues. I could not consistently download banking transactions and the internet connection was painfully slow. We also had no cell service on AT&T and Verizon. We even purchased a mini-tower but it did not help due to satellite internet. In Dec 2018 we contacted Peak WIFI not knowing if we could use their microwave service since we needed line of sight to one of their towers. It is like night and day difference in the service. We now get almost instantaneous internet connections, my banking transaction downloads have not failed since and we get excellent cell phone service using WIFI cell reception. And, the monthly charge is MUCH less then the satellite service. The installer, Christopher, was very professional and went the extra mile to run the cabling as we had a new roof and it required him to do some clever rerouting it happen. If you have line of sight to a Peak tower do not delay contact them to be your ISP. Could not be more satisfied. read more

I wish I would have found Peak Wifi sooner! I have been through 4 different internet providers in the past decade where I live in Edna Valley. I switched to Peak about 5 months ago and I can say it has been the best experience I have ever had for residential internet. I used to envy townfolks with their Internet options because out here in the country, we had everything wonderful except decent connection to the cyber world. That all changed with PeakWiFi. Now, we have the best of that, too. The speed, efficiency, reliability, and service have been phenomenal. After years of nothing, then pitiful DSL then cell phone hot spots, I can now stream movies without interruption. I've been with PeakWiFi since its inception, and I recommend it to everyone lucky enough to live outside of local towns. Hey, if it can reach you in the city, I recommend it to you, too. read more

During the WFH crisis I realized my rural home DSL just wasn't cutting it. I was embarrassed to have my system freeze during important zoom meetings and calls. I called Peak WiFi and they saved the day. Quick, professional and friendly staff worked with me to get my service up fast to avoid costly work delays. Super great installer came out, with mask, gloves and appropriate distancing, and got it all set up with no fuss. My connection is really fast, I can download movies and use multiple devices simultaneously. Even better, I will save money on my monthly service bills with no surcharges. These folks are the real deal. I rarely write any reviews but I was super impressed and they solved my work problems quickly. Give them a call if you live in the outskirts of SLO. read more

Like so many others, My family moved to Arroyo Grande outside of the service area for Charter. After struggling with a Verizon Mifi, we learned that their were wireless ISPs in the area. We tried a competitor for a year, but always hated the high prices, slow speeds, high latency, and data caps. About 7 months ago, we switched to Peak WiFi, and it's been perfect! Great speeds, competitive prices, next to no latency, and no data caps! Peak WiFi is even competitive to the service offering of Charter, and at this point, even if Charter did service our home, we wouldn't switch, the service is just that good. Thanks for bringing great internet service to the area! read more

Installation was longer than planned but Spencer was good and kept me informed. So far the internet is much faster than Hughes.

This will be the first review I have ever written for anything!! I feel so compelled to do this because PeakWifi is such an amazing company. Starting with the personnel, every single employee, including the owner is so friendly and extremely helpful. Next would be the wifi capability, it is phenomenal. We had been on DSL for years as that's all that was available for those of us living in rural areas. We were constantly having such frustrating experiences with that setup. We contacted PeakWIFI and they were out within 2 days, and set us up immediately. They continue to expand their ability to do line of sight wifi by setting up new towers. Now a year later, we are still raving about PeakWIFI. read more
