Their app is okay, it's not the best app; however, the customer service are always beyond helpful, kind, friendly, and knowledgeable. Our Spectrum internet was erratic for a while, and the technicians came out to our house several times before actually fixing the issue. Our router crapped out once, and my husband had to spend an inordinate amount of time waiting in line to swap out the bad router with a new one. Any time we have had an internet outage, a phone call to Spectrum gets us set up with a refund for the internet down time, which is typically around $1.00 or so, and I don't bother with the calls much anymore. I like their text messaging system with which they advise you of both an outage in our area and the outage's resolution. That's nice information to have! Spectrum is crept up in pricing over the years and we recently switched to AT&T Fiber. For now, it's "so long" to Spectrum; however, it's nice to know they service our rural area should we need them in the future!

Let him know personally how shitty Spectrum's UNreliability is. He only makes $5.75 Million/yr. Got time to post this b/c for the 3rd time today (2 days before Christmas) our internet (& security cams), TV, and landline (no calls from Grandparents) are ALL out, thanks to Spectrum. So no Mon. Night Football and the gifts we had loaded up on our computer to buy...no access. And they can't tell us when service will be restored. Merry Christmas, bitches! This happens every other week. But do we get even 3 cents credited back on our next bill? Hint: rhymes with shit no! This incompetence is not the fault of the DMV-wannabee-employees at the Spectrum Store. It's their corporate overlords. So: 1) Contact Mr.Winfrey directly, AND 2) file an online complaint with the CA Public Utilities Commission (cpuc.ca.gov). While writing this review our Spectrum Internet came back online... for 60 seconds and then crapped out again. (So 4th time today). Well, Merry F-you-all Christmas! :-(

Multiple shops either told me it wasn't fixable, parts were impossible to get, or that it wasn't worth the effort because of how complex this TV is. David was the only one who stepped up and actually took the time to diagnose it properly. Instead of guessing or pushing a replacement, he identified the real issue and repaired it at the component level (T-Con / buffer board)--something most places won't even attempt. He had everything fixed and back to me in less than a week, and now the TV works perfectly again. Communication was excellent the entire time and quick responses, clear updates and he followed through exactly as promised. On top of that, he's just a genuinely nice, honest guy who clearly knows what he's doing, especially with high-end TVs. You can tell he takes pride in his work and doesn't cut corners. Hopefully I don't have another broken TV anytime soon, but if I do, there's no question I'm going straight back to David. If you're dealing with something other shops won't touch, or even something that is a regular job, this is your guy.

I called David and he was able to repair the faulty internal board for only around $375. And that cost was only because he had to take the tv apart and repair at his shop. If it had been a main board that was on the exterior it would have come out to much less. While here, I found out he also does VHS to DVD transfers. If you want to avoid having to buy a replacement tv...... I Highly Recommend!

T-Mobile Experience Store

Turning fifty-five does have some advantages, one of which is qualifying for the 55+ plans at…read moreT-Mobile. So have been monitoring current deals, and have come into this store multiple times to 'window' shop and get clarifications. Thus when I saw a new deal pop up over the weekend, came back to this store to see if worth purchasing. It was. The switch is not complete yet, but the customer interaction at this store so far has been outstanding. Like many folks, my wife and I have been mobile customers across all the major carriers (including Sprint, which no longer exists), currently getting service through our Internet provider, Spectrum. Everyone provides unlimited national data now, so price continues to be the main driver for us. Both our I-phones (smallest physical footprint available) are (slowly) dying, victim of new OS's that require faster processors/memory and faster-draining/slower-recharging old batteries. But I like the form size of it, and it would still be useful as an occasional wi-fi device (or sell it to a company like Gazelle for over $100), so didn't want to use a deal that required a trade-in. So with the release of the I-phone 17e by Apple earlier this month ('budget' model, retailing for $599 for the 256GB version), T-Mobile recently published a new deal: get a 17e 'free' with 24 month contract, with no trade-in. What wasn't clear online was if the 55+ plans would apply. So decided to stop back in while doing some errands by myself in DTLB. This store is marketed as a T-Mobile experience store. Whenever we stop in, it's fairly busy but staffed well enough to have someone immediately available to help with no wait. Like before, I interacted with Taylor (Sr. Mobile Expert). He confirmed my understanding, and then looked up to see if the 55+ Essential ($60 plus tax for 2 lines with auto-pay monthly) would qualify. I was very pleasantly surprised that it did. The plan works as an interest free loan, with T-Mobile giving us the $599 to purchase the phone. From the government's perspective, the phone was bought at full retail price, and sales tax must be paid by the customer at the time of sale, which is what I did for both phones. T-Mobile then gives us a $24.96 credit for each phone at each billing cycle to pay off the phone. This means that if we cancel the service before 24 months, we would owe the remaining balance on the phone(s). Either way, the phone would be unlocked and would belong to us. So with that information, I decided to move forward with Taylor. After asking a co-worker, he recommended that the entire transaction be performed over the T-Mobile app on my (old) phone (including payment)...and he stayed with me while we did so. I remarked if there was a way to credit him; he responded that at this store, the employees did not work on commission. The phone itself is on backorder and will be shipped directly to our home, at which point we could start the actual switch over process. Since the newest phones only use E-SIMs now, we shouldn't have to come back in to get them activated. But it's nice to know that if we want to get personalized attention to complete the switch, Taylor and the rest of the non-commissioned T-Mobile team at this DTLB experience are there to walk one through it.
