I love this locationI always have a great experience when I come here. They don't have as many deals as others but the quality is what I'm looking for and they deliver it read more

I love the catalyst company. Therefore when I came here and had the absolute worst experience with a worker who refused to give their name for this review I knew I had to write it. Avoid this location and go to any other one. Other locations will treat you with care and respect, this one with discrimination and disgust. First. When you get inside they make you put away any bags and if you are a guy you are not allowed to bring in any bags of any size. Whereas all women can bring in purses. I understood for my gym bag but my water bottle bag which is smaller than any purse and I use it to hold my wallet and everything a girl put their purse in but it still wasn't allowed in. Even after I explained that this and pointed out their bias. Even though someone right before me brought in a purse double the size of mine. I Understand rules but when you make different rules based on gender that teeters on discrimination. I can only imagine how they just treat each other. Yikes. It made perfect sense how they treated me at the beginning when I got paired with an employee to be served. I got a short girl with long black hair. She is more on the bigger end. I am trying my best to describe her because she refused to give her name for the review and keep reading to see how she treated me. I don't ask for much at dispensaries I just want to be told prices and served. This person REFUSED to tell me any prices. Her response when I asked is she could tell me a price for one cartridge "uhh but then I'd have to walk to the register" I then proceeded with "I can wait" She then makes up a price and refuses to help me. She try's to sell me other product. I get it you don't want me to buy what I want and you want me to buy what you did. But she was rude, dismissive and refused to help me. At the register I boldly say "hi I'm a yelp elite and I want to review my experience here what's your name." She literally gets mad doesn't say her name and RUNS to the back to get her manager. She doesn't even ring me up. The manager comes up and asks what happened. I tell him she refused to serve me and hasn't but I'd leave this review. He didn't want to give the name of the person. Therefore please avoid this place as much as u can until they get this person fired or trained. THIS PLACE DOES NIT PRACTICE ANY SUPPORTIVE CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS. GO TO ANY OTHER CATALYST. It should be reported read more

Two years ago Catalyst could have my 5 stars. The quantity and over quality of all the products they sell went down immensely. So sad because it was my favorite place to go for many years but now they're the dollar store of weed. Unfortunately Ill be taking my consistent business ANYWHERE else now. read more

Wasn't my favorite dispensary. Their deals weren't easy to follow. Customer service was to serious for what I feel should be a relaxed environment. read more

My new favorite cannabis shop! When my friend and I were in Long Beach, we decided to try Catalyst as they had a 30% off sale in the store! I got well stocked on some high quality gummies and vape cartridges for a great deal. They had a good selection and thankfully everything that I wanted was in stock. The store is small but mighty, organized well with good inventory. Aaron helped me and my friend when we were in Catalyst and he was a gem! So friendly and informative, we had good banter and I wish he could be my local weed guy. All the staff was actually great here, even the security guy seemed friendly. But Aaron---give that guy a raise! I'll definitely be back every time I'm in the 562. read more

Lots of reviews here about rude tenders and it's true. I've experienced it, but only 10% of the time. Undeniable. The deals are cool. The location convenience is nice. They say they are open until 930pm and they ACTUALLY stay open until then. Overall, I felt like after going here for a few years that it was time to give them their stars. read more

Their website does not accurately depict what is actually in stock. At three different occasions, they did not have what I wanted. C'est la vie, I will avoid this location. And yes, attitude from a tender from my last visit. He rolled his eyes at my request. read more

This is my favorite dispensary because they always have good deals and promos going on and the staff is so awesome. Every single person (including security) is polite, friendly and helpful! I am a cancer survivor and have autoimmune diseases. Rose, the budtender listened and took the time to educate me on what products can help me and it felt like talking to a friend. It means so much to be treated with so much kindness. The selection of brands is really good too. I highly recommend this place! read more

I love having a dispensary in the neighborhood. Living in the Shore, you take every opportunity to not leave it. It's a 10/10 for walkable, knowledgeable bud-tenders, weekly discounts, and friendly team. I highly recommend. read more

I was down from the Coachella valley for a few days where there are plenty of dispensaries so out here in OC had to do a little hunting depending on where you are at. Or at least for me and my friend. I hardly smoke, but for this occasion since haven't hung out with my friend we decided to look for one before we got food and went to the beach. We found this and they have this dispensary also in the desert but like i said I'm just barely getting into it. That said the place inside looked very nice compared to some local ones I go to in the Coachella valley. As far as what I paid for and got, I was happy. The guy who helped me showed what was good for the amount I was willing to pay. He was nice and patient and understanding. There were was a line ahead and behind me but didn't have to wait long. I wouldn't mind going there again or checking the one out here in the desert. Like I said I don't smoke much so I was satisfied with I got and appreciate the help. read more

this is possibly the third or fourth time I visited this location give or take but mind you every single visit at this location has been nothing but horrible. I don't know if I'm getting the end of someone's shift and they're in a bad mood and have their boxers up their or they don't know what job they took so they're not informative on the information that we're asking, but I didn't expect to get an attitude from a tender read more

Service is top notch. Staff is very nice. Huge selection. Online ordering is the best and really fast.

Twice at Cherry location I was treated poorly by staff. I will not be returning for that reason. A person can only tolerate so much!

Sold me $75 gram "rosin " and it was crumble lol. Scammersssssssssssssssssssssssssz .

Imagine getting sick after spending 28 dollars for sleep gummies. I took 3/4 of one Camino Sour. Two hours later, I was so sick, I threw up twice. I have not thrown up in 12 years. I called the manager. She said she would call me back but never did. I gave it two stars because of cleanliness. For me, it's way overpriced and unregulated. read more

Catalyst - Belmont - Scam artist on their special. - Cannabis Dispensaries Near Me - Long Beach, California

This is a review done in contemplation and reflection of what is happening in todays market, and that we should love people that show love. It's all my opinion and my opinion is showin love. I've had the opportunity to see catalyst and the two stores that I'm familiar with grow and sustain the community around me through Covid with the cannabis and medicine they needed with love. Through the kindness commitment and love of the owners and community patrons of Catalyst, Anna and Elliot as well as their supporters, friends and investors to provide the community with the nutrition that they need. These individuals have made a commitment to do what is right by providing services for the people in the form of a variety of medicines and nutrition for people to enjoy to open their minds, hearts and spirits in a time of great trial. I wax poetic because it is heroic to take on these advocacy's for people when others will not. I want to thank catalyst and its community for the upright expression of cannabis in it's sacred stewardship to allow it to support, heal and help the people at prices that are reasonable, orientated towards the community, and well-being of not only the community , also the plant itself and all those involved with it. I appreciate and leave this review of Catalyst as a culture and a movement because I see the love that is there and what they are doing for the community and each other. for me love is an expression of the sacred and I feel that this plant is sacred because of the love that it holds and it shares. So I invite you to invest in cannabis at Catalyst and with the people that they express and share their same morals, values and love. Short story Buy your weed here. It's good vibes. This will be the first of many post appreciating these beautiful spirits. I'm gonna use my voice to show love. I invite you to do the same. In this I would like to give a review on each individual that have helped me since I have known them each and have become friends with them in my opinion and in my way and would like to share my love of them and appreciation of them with you. Gabby is an absolute All-Star. She really cares about the clients and she really cares about the quality that you have she wants to make sure that you have what you need the experience that you would like and the understanding compassion empathy to look for and feel into what would be best for you. She has an excellent knowledge of the different brands and does an excellent job of promoting as well as sharing what she feels is best for me and what I might also enjoy with something new. Every time I come in she smiles she's very kind and she sees what she can do to get me and give me the best experience she can. I'm looking forward to hearing her play the ukulele and sing a happy song. Randall is a awesome human with good vibes a positive upbeat attitude and a great knowledge of the different products as well as a love and appreciation for the plant itself. With his good attitude and desire to excel supply and bring the best energy ideas and vibrations he can to the space based on my experience I really appreciated the love welcoming community that he brings from the front desk to helping out behind the table to get me the different experiences and medicines in nutrition that I need to live my life in the way that I would like and enjoy it in the way that is healthy active and loving towards me with these different medicines and offerings. I always appreciate his smile and his desire to help me have the best experience I can while in catalyst. Stella always has a smile on her face and she brings good vibes and good energy every time I come in. Always warm always welcoming always supporting me and wondering what I want what I need and what she thinks will support me in having a pleasurable experience with medicine and at catalyst. She brings a sense of warmth and community and welcome and does her best to bring her smile and her knowledge and wisdom and her conversation with cannabis to share and support you in finding the strain and experience you're looking for. Always a pleasure to see her smiling face reminding me and welcoming me to the catalyst community. I also will be adding my positive experiences with Ciara, David, Aaron and Enrique there. Bless bless so much love and success. read more

I would not trust the freshness of the flower they sell. When I had an issue where a $65 bag would NOT burn (WTF!), I brought it to the manager's attention--and he didn't even care. Wouldn't give them another penny of my hard earned cash! So disappointed! read more

Went here the other day after trying to find a place to get Sauce Essentials vapes. I called ahead and the person I spoke to in the phone was very friendly. It's a simple enough dispensers that isn't too fancy but seems to have a lot of variety and the staff gave some recommendations and helped us get some stuff on sale. Ciara is my FAVORITE employee at Catalyst, I always hope she's working when i need to come in. She's so nice and always greets me when i walk in. Was here today for The womens Wednesday discount, and the girl in the front desk was checking me in and even greeted me saying " Happpy Womens Wednesday" but when i had gone inside to pay, I had already assumed i Was automatically going to receive the discount, Which I didnt, also the Budtender was a Female, you would think she would just give the discount, how come the girl at the front desk can Greet me, but the budtender forgets, I called and came back in, and they told me just because I DIDNT ask for it i couldnt get it, This is the only Catalyst that has never ever given me the disocunt, I understand sometimes, the Budtenders can forget but the managers are always willing too give me the 15% off for the next purchase, this is the closest Catalyst too me, but from Now on i will have to go to Cherry, and DTLB horrible horrible cutsomer service!!!! read more

I would be cautious about buying disposable pens from this location. I have bought two that have not worked and most recently tried to bring the second one that was not working back and they were not able to do anything about it. Unfortunately, this product was almost $50 and was a waste of money. I understand their sales are final but I wouldn't buy any disposable pens here given there is no guarantee they will work and there is nothing they can do about it. This happens and when it has occurred at other locations, they were able to replace. I heard a mixed response that all sales are final, but also that I was one day out of the guarantee so unclear about the policy. Appreciated the nice response but don't feel protected as a consumer read more

10/10 recommend for those visiting from out of state. My partner and I are visiting from NY, and tried a different dispensary before discovering Catalyst, but now wish we never spent money at the first one. Their prices and deals were amazing, and for a selection of great quality too! We will definitely return here in the future. (We are set for the rest of our trip though, they had a great discount on great flower!) Each worker we interacted with provided a very kind and helpful experience! read more

Ciara who works in your Belmont shore location goes above and beyond and she really knows her stuff. Also she's kind and gives solid customer service. This is my local dispensary. Women get discounts on Wednesday, taxes are included in pricing, if you come often enough they'll ask you about your dog. David is the MVB (most valuable bud tender), he won't sell you questionable products for some sort of employee incentivized product push-- I'm a regular again because of him-- I'm not sure if he's the store manager, but he probably should be. *also a fan of the security guard-- He's the one who asks about my dog. I'd be happy if he went home with a blunt or something bc this review. cheers & gratitude, your neighbor read more
