    XFINITY is by far the worst customer experience I have ever encountered…read more My family had Comcast/Xfinity for over 20 years, and had constant billing discrepancies. We were told a rate plan verbally, and ALWAYS received a bill which was 20 to 30% higher (before taxes and fees). My wife would call, and after 1 to 2 hours on the most frustrating call you could imagine, the bill would be changed for that month, with a VERBAL assurance that it would remain the promised rate in future bills. The following month was always - ALWAYS at the higher rate again. In August of 2025 (we had no viable options until them in our area), we switched to a cell based provider. We weren't able to get acceptable service from them (bad signals), so we discussed the situation and switched back to Xfinity for internet only. This is supposed to be on the $50/month plan guaranteed for 5 years. This service is dependent on providing a checking account and routing number to Xfinity to draft each month. SAME CUSTOMER SERVICE NIGHTMARE BEGINS. Xfinity began sending us notices that we had a past due bill. We signed up for AUTO PAY - this was supposed to be our payment method. My wife visits the store in our city, and was advised that our bank declined the payment, and we needed to check with them. Our bank said Xfinity never tried to draft the payment, and there were no blocks on our account. AFTER receiving the next LATE PAYMENT notification from Xfinity, i spent the next 78 (YES - 1 hr and 18 minutes) on the phone with a foreign operator trying to explain our dilemma in dealing with Xfinity. I was promised VERBALLY that our account would be eligible for the $50 per month rate as soon as we furnished the payment information for the current bill. Once that payment was taken care - IN THE SAME PHONE CALL - I was advised that we weren't eligible for the $50 rate. I will be cancelling Xfinity immediately and will NEVER GO BACK. This company is a scam from the beginning This billing discrepancy is a company policy to generate revenue. When Comcast filed for bankruptcy several years ago and used the proceeds to buy NBC/ Universal - the overbilling started. Everyone I know who uses their services experience the exact same problems. They should be shut down as a giant criminal organization.

Our internet is not nearly as fast as they advertised, I should say we are paying for their fastest service offered in our area. It routinely disconnects for a few seconds, just long enough to have to reset the connection on the smart-tv or computer. Their customer service is impossible to get hold of then just tells you to reset your modem, which of course I did as soon as it went out. They make you do it again before bothering to try another solution while acting surprised it didn't work. I have the general feeling that customer support is just one giant delaying tactic hoping you'll go away. A truest terrible company.

I had…read moreinitially scheduled my appointment for the other store T-Mobile store on Gadsden Hwy, but I didn't like the customer service there. When spending my hard earn money customer service is Key. This location is fairly new and they are in a prime location for business near Walmart lol. When I walked in, I was immediately greeted. That made me feel welcomed and I was happy. It looked like everyone seemed busy with other customers however Drew said we're be with your shortly. That made me happy because I was acknowledged. I think I waited no more than 10 minutes before someone was free to assist me. However since I was greeted previously I didn't mind the wait. Robert answered all my questions about converting over to them. I am still thinking if I want to port over from Verizon whom I have been with forever. But if I do this will be the location I'll deal with. There customer service is great from the staff Robert all the way to the manager Drew. Keep it up T-Mobile

I was told my payments on the new S20+ were $30 a piece a month. Well try $50. Also they kept talking about a $500 trade in for qualifying phones...we had the S9+s so we qualified for the $500 a phone. Well they gave me $88 a phone and didn't explain how to go about the $500 deal. Turns out I got a text that day from TMobile themselves on how to go about the promotion (before I went to the store) so I submitted for both my wife and myself. They're supposed to be prepaid virtual visa cards. Hopefully this goes thru bc I'm putting both cards towards the EIP to make this worth my wild. Listen these new phones are awesome. I understand there is going to be a bigger price tag. And I as the consumer I need to be more vigilant in reading the paperwork...but if that's the case...we don't need these stores, just do everything online.

    Great Fiber Speeds, But Sales Team Needs Work I had AT&T…read moreFiber installed on 11/15/2025 in Fultondale, and the internet speed has been outstanding so far--much better than I expected. If you've seen their ads or visited their website, you might not believe it, but the actual service has been excellent. That said, the installation process was a mixed bag. I had to deal with three sales reps who clearly didn't understand the product. They couldn't answer basic questions and kept repeating vague explanations about Wi-Fi, regardless of the actual topic. Thankfully, the technician who did the install--Julius B.--was fantastic. He was professional, knowledgeable, and answered all my questions clearly. He really saved the experience. While I'm impressed with the service so far, I'm a little concerned about what might happen if I ever need to call support. But for now, everything is working as expected.

    Horrible service and inaccurate info on outage. Internet…read morewent out early Jan 11,2025. I contacted AA and were told they were working on the outage. They said techs would get it restored as quickly as possible. It was 2+ days before service was restored. I do not believe tech were working on this small outage (one street) for 2 days. I don't k now if it was because this was a week-end or not, bubt after waiting all week-end, service was restored Monday morning. I would like to know why it took so long to restore the coverage and why we were given misleading info on the outage.
