After doing some online research, I decided that it would be wise to consult a professional rather than risk electrocution by tinkering with it myself. I was unsure if I would even be able to find a place in Birmingham that could service a nearly 50 year-old amp, but ERC told me that they could fix me up. They installed and biased my new tubes and replaced a few inner parts, and it sounded like a brand new amp. However, the next day, I noticed that the audio was weak again. I contacted the shop and was assured that they would fix it for me. They were very apologetic and fixed it without any extra charges. The amp has sounded great ever since. I definitely know where to go the next time I need any help.

After I realized it no longer worked I asked Nick about it and he said sorry that should have been told to you. I told him I would have to come back to get the old speaker put back in, when I arrived another gentleman was there and knew nothing about it. He contacted Nick who told him he threw it away, but I told him my last communication with Nick was I'd be back. To bad so sad now I no longer have FACE ID, looks like my company is out the $80 plus now they have to get me a new phone.

Told they would only give a portion of the money back. Went to get it and husband was told he'd have to come back the next day because they didn't have the $40 to give him. Husband took it to a man who works on radios and the man fixed it in one day. He said they never replaced the part and as soon as you open it up they haven't even soldered 3 places that were suppose to be soldered. That was just wrong to do a customer that way. We had no way of knowing what the did or didn't do. Will not recommend this business at all.

I called LG 5-6 times to figure out the issue until they finally scheduled a repair with Robinson's TV. Within maybe 2 hours of getting the repair scheduled I get a call from Robinson's TV and have the part being ordered and shipped within 3-5 days. The part arrives and he drives from Pell City to Tuscaloosa the day the part arrives and within 30 min the tv is working perfectly. As annoying as this process was talking with LG and finally setting up a repair, Robinson's TV made everything so much easier. As he was replacing the parts he explained everything to me and now I feel confident enough to replace a wifi receiver or a motherboard for a TV. I really recommend using Robinson's TV Service if you every have issues, best decision I ever made.
