Before the serviceman arrived, I received text updates with pictures of who to expect and with their estimated time of arrival. I moved forward largely because of their customer satisfaction guarantee. Austyn, the project manager, was friendly, level-headed, and straightforward, and his communication was clear with timely updates. Every employee who came to the house was courteous and professional, and they worked diligently while on-site. Unfortunately, the project has involved repeated issues, delays, and added costs, and I am still without a working system. The initial installation placed both the indoor cassette and outdoor unit incorrectly. After a second visit, the placement was corrected. Following that visit, I was asked to sign paperwork stating the work was complete. Assuming the system was functional, I signed. When I immediately went to test it, the system would not turn on. I then learned the electrical work had not yet been completed, meaning the project was not actually finished at the time I was asked to sign. They did return with an electrician afterward. Once electrical was completed, the system still would not operate properly. After further troubleshooting, it was determined one cassette had a manufacturer defect--an internal copper coil leak. While the manufacturer provided a replacement unit, I was advised that manufacturer defects are not covered and that the company does not inspect or test units prior to installation. I was then told it would cost an additional $2,300 to install the replacement, despite the system never having been fully operational. I consulted other HVAC companies, who advised they would typically replace a defective unit in this situation without charging additional labor. Due to the unresolved issues, completion sign-off concerns, and the system still not functioning, I have filed a formal complaint with the Alabama Board of Heating, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Contractors. While the staff on-site has been professional and communication initially was solid, my experience ultimately involved significant setbacks, additional costs, and an unfinished result.

He took a cellphone photo that showed ice on it and said that it would have to thaw before he could do anything. He said he would return the next day around 3:00 p.m. and asked for the $65. warranty copay. I gave him a check. The next day, while awaiting the return of the serviceman, I checked my email. There was a message from the warranty company stating, "the vendor indicated you do not need this appointment". When I called Bo Jiffy, I was given an evasive response as to why the appointment was cancelled.The serviceman asked if I had turned the ac back on. He said the air usually comes back on after the system thaws and the filter is changed. It didn't make sense to me but I hung up and did as instructed. Well, the air didn't start to flow and the thermostat remained at 91 degrees. When I called Bo Jiffy back, my call went to voicemail. The following day I call another company and they got my ac working in short order.

Kevin came out and looked at everything, explained what was needed. He was the only one that guaranteed his solution would work. After sending me the quote and agreeing to the package and product type I wanted, we moved forward with the a new unit. They did all the worked and they did it right. The installers were very nice and professional and did not mess up the house in any way. It was after the installation that I was really glad i went with them. The unit was not solving the problem we wanted originally which was even cooling. At first I thought we had just wasted our money...same problem, but with a new unit. Kevin called me and sent his installers back out and reviewed the problem. After several items were check, they determined that I did need a larger unit and they installed it without an charge to me. After that everything went great and the home is cooling wonderfully. We went from a unit that ran all the time and didn't cool well to one that runs in much shorter cycles and cools very well. i am confident if i had gone with anyone else, the problem would not have been solved and I would have been out more money for a larger unit. Every company quoted the same type and size unit, but Kevin was the only one that told me if it didn't work, they would stay here until it did....and they actually came through on their word. Bought a Generac whole home generator from Lowe's and Lowe's had mainline as the installers. My…read moregenerator developed a problem the end of July. Michael came out 8/3/15, said I need a part, which would be in within a week and a half. After many calls, they showed up 1 month later. They left, the generator did not do the weekly diagnostic. I called back the day after labor day, was told "oh it needs another part, guess we should have told you". I continued to call, Michael wouldn't return my voice mails. They came back in another month (3 months after my first call) and still couldn't fix it. I called Generac and found our they are NOT approved by Generac to work on the generator. Something Lowe's and Mainline should have been honest enough to tell me when I was considering buying it. I got a Generac certified service technician to come out and found out Mainline had damaged the generator when they were poking around in it. They left the generator in pieces, they damaged the muffler and damaged other parts, which the certified technician took 45 minutes to repair. They charged me $7,000 for installation and don't have a clue what they are doing. Generac has contract with Home Depot only. The lowe's sales person would not answer my e-mails. SO for 4 months I was making payments to Lowe's for a broken generator, much of the damage was caused by Mainline. Stay away from them
