I have had the service since it was Time Warner and it's hard to let go. I'm finally tired of watching the same shows over and over so I am exploring more channels. Plus the addition of Disney Plus has been great. I watched Summer of Soul and this week Hamilton. As for the internet I've never had outages and I certainly have enough speed for what I do. I'm giving this location and my current feeling about Spectrum 4 Stars. I'm sure I will probably be disenchanted when my year of internet and cable discounts $20 a month each ends!!

The low level customer service and the way the company bilks customers is astounding. They claim to be giving you a five (5) year price lock. In my case, two months later they change the name of your promotion to Promotion for Life. They say that this means that only the taxes can go up if they do, but not the price for the service in my case, $40.00 with $5.66 in taxes for a total of $45.66. Do not be fooled. All their promotions, regardless of names, can be renamed and repriced at any time. They actively promote Autobilling, which means they take the money directly out of your bank account each month. It is not worth getting a $5 reduction to have these crooks get access to your bank account. Once you provide them with your bank account number, they can help themselves to any amount. Prices with Astound change at the drop of a hat. They do this by claiming that your plan's name was changed. What this means is that they hiked the price. Am actively going to see if I can find a better deal elsewhere. These people are nasty and only interested in bilking customers. These are seasoned scam artists.

The location is on a very busy street, and finding metered parking is extremely difficult. While waiting, I couldn't help but notice employees openly talking about customers after they left, which is completely unprofessional and reflects poorly on the business. There is plenty of seating available, but be prepared to wait. I've been here for over 20 minutes watching one employee enjoy his iced coffee while customers continue to sit and wait for assistance. Experiences like this make it easy to understand why so many people are moving away from Spectrum. Customer service should be a priority, and unfortunately, that was not my experience here.

I have a 1000mbps internet plan with no contract, free modem, and a locked-in price of $45 for two years. However, my bills shows a charge for 1000mbps at $55. I never signed up for a $55 plan, otherwise I will have to get 15000mbps speed instead of 1000mpbs (as it shows on their website) and I have no need for the higher 15000mbps speed. The billing is extremely deceptive. Despite paying $45 plus a $10 auto-pay discount, resulting in a total of $62.40, the statement incorrectly displays a higher amount. The company's explanation for the discrepancy is unconvincing. Also, they come up with nonsense things saying that I paid more these past months because the $10 auto payment, takes a while to kick inn. They will always come up with something. Beware of this company's billing practices. Carefully review your statements to avoid overpayment!!! Shame!!!!

I was having some issues with my current Iphone 7 and went to see Daniel over at the Verizon store…read morethat is local here to me in Jackson Heights. Usually I deal with the corporate store in the Queens Center Mall, but I wanted to try this place first. He was super friendly, helpful and got me out of there in less than 30 minutes with an upgrade to the Iphone X. This is not a corporate affiliated store, but an Authorized Retailer so things work just a little bit differently here. I am not sure if he was the manager of the store, but he acted like it in a very professional manner and helped me out big time. He also gave me the pre-printed label and packaging to send my old malfunctioning phone back to Verizon which is a huge plus. Its nice to be able to get everything done locally and in one shot. Daniel made the experience of upgrading to my new phone a very pleasurable one and if you are in the neighborhood do not hesitate to head on in and get some professional service. I am sure the other employees here are just as good, but since I was dealing with Daniel I am giving him the shout out. Great job.
