    Large new store. Great service and very convenient to get to. I was so glad to find this place. I had to swap out two boxes because my old ones were acting up. It was a very easy and painless process. The woman who helped me was very friendly and this is my to go store for my future cable needs.

The low level customer service and the way the company bilks customers is astounding. They claim to be giving you a five (5) year price lock. In my case, two months later they change the name of your promotion to Promotion for Life. They say that this means that only the taxes can go up if they do, but not the price for the service in my case, $40.00 with $5.66 in taxes for a total of $45.66. Do not be fooled. All their promotions, regardless of names, can be renamed and repriced at any time. They actively promote Autobilling, which means they take the money directly out of your bank account each month. It is not worth getting a $5 reduction to have these crooks get access to your bank account. Once you provide them with your bank account number, they can help themselves to any amount. Prices with Astound change at the drop of a hat. They do this by claiming that your plan's name was changed. What this means is that they hiked the price. Am actively going to see if I can find a better deal elsewhere. These people are nasty and only interested in bilking customers. These are seasoned scam artists.

Customers are waiting all over the store while the staff are standing around talking to each other and laughing at each new customer that comes in. When I approached one of the staff members he was making fun of an older female customer because she spoke only Spanish. Disgusting and appalling behavior esp in this neighborhood(!) What the... ? Just unacceptable. Five employees when I went in but only one was communicating with a customer, at a counter in the back. Thirteen customers waiting. Spectrum needs to send a secret shopper here or at least check the security cameras to see what the staff is doing. They need to hire better and train their staff better. After this visit we are no longer Spectrum customers and are so happy we won't have to deal with this disrespect again. Would give negative stars if I could. Read the other reviews. Once I figured that out after asking a random worker, I waited a couple of minutes and sat down. I was getting a modem and wifi router. Once I was called up, Nicole was super helpful and professional. She is 5/5 stars of customer service. She has a business woman mindset where she showed me different promotions but not in a forceful way. The conversation with her was so natural and pleasant that I was compelled enough to write a review FOR HER on Yelp. And I get it, the staff here are overworked, and they have a lot of walk-in customers in one day. Nicole maintained a level of professionalism that made me feel at ease, even when there was another customer yelling over some issue she had. Nicole was so polite, professional, and friendly that I was very pleased with her! I'll be going back to Nicole if I need any help in the future!

This have happened about 8 times over the course of 5 years I have used them. I would have changed so much sooner if my building took other internet providers but was unfortunate with only having rcn available. Every time I've called to tell them that they increased the prices and I'm really unhappy about it, they miraculously have some promo that brings it back down to original price. ALSO, be warned that you also get charged a modem fee which they don't really disclose until you call to ask about it :) if you are stuck like me, just buy a modem yourself so you can save HUNDREDS of dollars per year and don't be stupid like me. There is even one charge that says construction fee and maintenance fee attached to the bill "separately" that totals your "50$" bill to 91$ :D Overall very awful business practice I hope I could give it 0 stars if I could

I have a 1000mbps internet plan with no contract, free modem, and a locked-in price of $45 for two years. However, my bills shows a charge for 1000mbps at $55. I never signed up for a $55 plan, otherwise I will have to get 15000mbps speed instead of 1000mpbs (as it shows on their website) and I have no need for the higher 15000mbps speed. The billing is extremely deceptive. Despite paying $45 plus a $10 auto-pay discount, resulting in a total of $62.40, the statement incorrectly displays a higher amount. The company's explanation for the discrepancy is unconvincing. Also, they come up with nonsense things saying that I paid more these past months because the $10 auto payment, takes a while to kick inn. They will always come up with something. Beware of this company's billing practices. Carefully review your statements to avoid overpayment!!! Shame!!!!
