    If you are looking for a contractor, this is NOT your guy. Very pleasant and knows how to talk the…read moretalk but beware. His work is sub-par and even though his contract states his work is "guaranteed" for one year, this is not the case. Their guarantee also comes with once there is an "attempted" repair it is now addressed and void no matter if it was actually achieved. If you use him make sure you know building materials or he will estimate medium to low quality material by preying on your ignorance. We thought we were getting a good sheetrock for our bathroom remodel and after noticing the walls crying after showers we were informed that we only had mid grade because we didn't ask for the better sheetrock. How would we know that! Deceiving comes to mind. Besides that, the light was off center, cabinet crooked, backsplash installed incorrectly, sparkle tape exposed all around ceiling, corners and seams are rough, and numerous other items which the contractor claims to be addressed and complete.

Thanks again! ---- Original Post---- As a homeowner, my husband and I have shopped in both Lowe's and Home Depot for over 20 years. We have spent an extraordinary amount of money in both of these stores. We rarely need to make returns, but we just had a recent instance of having to return 5 bags of polymeric sand because we decided to have the job done by a contractor. I saved the receipt and my husband went to the store to return the sand. It was a VERY UNPLEASANT experience to learn that there is a 90 day window on returns (with receipt) and NO EXCEPTIONS ARE GRANTED FOR A RESELLABLE ITEM such as polymeric sand! Needless to say, we have made our LAST purchase at Lowes and I will be sharing this VERY NEGATIVE experience EVERYWHERE I can.

    Dear Reader, Please…read morejust go to Home Depot! It doesn't matter if I am in the Lowes Hackettstown or Lowes Mt. Olive, the customer service at either is horrible. Allow me to elaborate on today's experience. I walk into Lowes -Mt. Olive and head straight back to the appliance dept. I am looking for a new stove. An employee, we will call him "H" is assisting another customer. I stand nearby, never greeted or even noticed. I eventually say excuse me is there another employee in this department that can help me, "H" says, "yeah, he's around here somewhere" rather than him calling the other employee, I have to go on a damn scavenger hunt. The hunt turns up nothing. I return to the counter where "H" is still assisting the other customer who is now on the phone contemplating whatever purchase they are considering. I say to "H" can you call the other employee? He says, yeah... Like really? You could have done that all along? humph.. The other employee replies to the call after "H'" says there is a woman here needing help. The other employee replies, "Yeah, in a minute" Wow!! I wait around for a few more minutes, never to meet the other employee, I eventually say to "H" whelp Home Depot gets my money; "H" replies "okay, bye" I then go to the front desk to ask for the manager, giving a snippet of my experience today to the employee at the counter. A manager is called but again after a few minutes of waiting never comes up. I tell the employee at the counter, thanks and please let your manager know that they can read the review here, just like the rest of you. @Lowes-train your people @Lowes-poor customer service is not acceptable
