Fortunately we were referred to Tri-State Stone &Tile. Yesterday a crew of 3 men came and replaced the old formica counters with the most beautiful granite counter. They were quick, clean and friendly. We could not be happier with Tr-State Stone & tile and the help Terry and Danielle gave us selecting the best granite to match our cabinets etc. They were professional and courteous and very patient with us as we tried to decide on what we wanted. I strongly recommend that if you are considering having your kitchen or bath counters replaced you call Tri-State Stone & Tile' I know you will be glad you made the call. Once I paid my deposit and completed the template process, customer service completely…read moredeteriorated. Communication became entirely one-sided, and I constantly had to chase the company for updates. I was originally told fabrication would take about 10 days. A week later, I called for a status update and spoke with Karolina, who promised to call me back. She never did. Another week later, I called again and was assured I would get an answer that same day. Again, no response. After several more days of trying to get information, I finally spoke with Daniella, who informed me that they didn't even have the stone yet. The installation day was just as frustrating. I was given an arrival window, but the installers never showed up during that time. No one called to let me know they were running late. I had to contact the office multiple times, and each time I was told an even longer wait time. Ultimately, the installers arrived nearly two hours after the scheduled arrival window had ended. During the sales process, they advertise that installation includes a "free new sink." What was never disclosed to me was that I would need to hire a plumber separately to make the sink usable. Additionally, Daniella admitted she forgot to send me the installation paperwork, which included important instructions on how to prepare for installation and what to do afterward. Customers should not have to discover critical information only after the fact because staff failed to provide the required documentation. What is most disappointing is that this company came highly recommended by members of my family. Unfortunately, the experience I received was marked by poor communication, broken promises, missed deadlines, lack of follow-through, and a complete absence of proactive customer service. Once the deposit was collected, I felt like getting accurate information or even a return phone call became a constant struggle. There are plenty of companies that value their customers' time and communicate honestly throughout the process. Based on my experience, I would strongly encourage anyone considering Tri-State to look elsewhere.

They REALLY try to help you to get your room to come out the way you want. They go over & beyond. The good part is that they have everything there -- cabinets, tiles & countertops which really helps when you are trying to decide on colors. The best part is that they are such good designers & really know what they are doing. They know what looks good together & what doesn't. I went to quite a few places before I found this place & was so happy I did. I had purchased my cabinets elsewhere (big mistake) but these people went over & beyond helping me to get everything to look good.

We initially went to a big box in Dover, and the salesperson clearly did not know what she was doing, took nearly 3 weeks to give us an estimate, and by that time, their "special discount" had expired.
