There work was careful, extraordinary, fast and beyond reasonably priced. They not only made us a great counter and backsplash they installed it with ease. From initial conversation to measurements to two installs within one week (first counter then the backsplash) these guys were easy to deal with. One of the last design changes to the atrociously ugly kitchen I absorbed when buying an apartment…read moretwo years ago was the countertop. I'd gone to some of the Big Box stores and asked for quotes on quartz materials, then determined I'd prefer to use a smaller business owner keeping in-line with my ethos of supporting the little guy as opposed to huge multi-national corporations. Using Yelp's Request-A-Quote feature I found Benchmark. Adam, who seems to run inbound customer leads, was far and away the fastest to reply and the most communicative of the many businesses I considered for my new countertop job. After a few messages back and forth, I was able to pop by the warehouse in New Jersey for a hands on tour to select the right design and get recommendations on styles I hadn't previously considered. The one I settled on was purchased, measured, cut, and installed in under a week. And the price for the quality of stone I received was far better than some of the household brands you might immediately think about when undertaking a renovation of this caliber. If I needed their services again in the future, I'd absolutely do it in a heartbeat. But if you're in the market yourself, be sure you give them a chance at your business before going forward with your own kitchen remodel.

First impressions are lasting ones, and Joe of Marino tile left us with an amazing experience from…read morethe minute we walked into his store. When my wife Gia and I walked into the Marino shop, we were at a loss for the type of countertops we wanted. Our home kitchen space is small and difficult to work with due to its age... lots of uneven plaster walls and brick. Gia had always wanted a single source, counter to ceiling style backsplash. Not only would it be a focal point of the space, but it would help in making it look larger overall. After looking through Marino's wide selection of products, Gia and I never once felt pressured or rushed. In fact, the owner Joe took his time with us and answered all of our questions regarding durability, installation process, availability timeline, product warranty... pretty much the pros and cons of all the products he sells and installs there. After a few trips to his showroom, and his professional opinion, Gia and I chose Cambria Delamere Quartz. Joe spent a few hours in our home to measure out each section precisely, so when it came to installation time, he'd be prepared. And prepared was EXACTLY how he returned. Joe and Manny, painstakingly went over every corner, angle, and mitered edge, to make our Delamere quartz look as if it was cut out of a single piece!! And in a home built in 1899, that's no easy feat. He even helped properly measure, center, and bore out the anchors we needed for our new range hood! And he did it all with a smile on his face :) Joe is friendly, knowledgeable, and provides very fair pricing, especially considering that he's a true craftsman. In a world where everything is becoming more and more impersonal and prefabricated, this family owned and operated business was hands down, THE BEST decision we made for our 2nd floor renovation. Don't even take our word for it... just visit Marino tile and see for yourself.

I found Art of Kitchen Tile & Bath when searching…read moreonline for nearby places I could visit to compare prices to a quote I had already received from elsewhere. After reading the reviews, I figured this would be a good place to comparison shop. Best decision I could have made!!! From the moment I walked in, I knew this was an amazing business. Everyone was super friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Another very important point for me was that there was absolutely no sales pressure. That's a HUGE plus! Long story short, I had received a quote for over $46,000.00 for the cabinets I wanted. This quote did not include any extras like pull out tray/drawers, lazy susans, utensil cabinets next to stove, etc. The price I ended up paying for all of the same cabinets from the original quote from the other guy plus additional cabinets, special pieces, drawer pulls, lazy susan/utensil drawer/pull out trays/drawers, etc. was just under $21,000.00!!! This price was for the exact same manufacturer (Fabuwood) and same exact color as quoted by the other guy...That's a $25,000.00 difference! (If my actual cost seems like a lot please note I got an insane amount of cabinets/pantries, etc.) Also, I don't know how I was so fortunate as to work extensively with Furkhan, but he was incredible throughout the entire renovation process! Despite the fact that I knew what I wanted for our renovations, I knew nothing about the actual process/details. Furkhan was pretty much available 24/7 and spent an endless amount of time with me going over every detail, making sure I didn't miss anything I might need, and answering my never ending questions. He took the time to learn exactly what I wanted and went above and beyond to ensure the desired results! He also came up with ideas that seemed minor but ultimately made the difference between me really liking my kitchen to absolutely loving it!!! (I still just look at the kitchen when I walk in and smile at the results). Another huge plus was that he worked seamlessly with my contractor and everyone else involved in the project (plumber, appliance place, etc.) to ensure the smooth flow of every aspect of the project. Even when I had a small problem with an outside vendor, he took care of it for me and made sure it was resolved immediately. He kept on top of everything going on and kept me updated accordingly. I cannot possibly thank Art of Kitchen Tile & Bath enough for all their hard work. Everyone who has walked into our house cannot stop talking about how beautiful it is and about the quality of the work! And I can never thank Furkhan enough for his insights and suggestions and handling the project with such professionalism as well as following up on every detail to ensure the incredible results we achieved!
