Diane and Joe both are helpful and patient when you're trying to decide what you need for your space, for even the smallest job. Parking is limited in that area, but no worries: just call them, and they will direct you where to park. Places like Home Depot cannot compare with the individualized service and care you will get here, not to mention the quality of the tile. Like I said, just go there, and support small businesses. First impressions are lasting ones, and Joe of Marino tile left us with an amazing experience from the minute we walked into his store. When my wife Gia and I walked into the Marino shop, we were at a loss for the type of countertops we wanted. Our home kitchen space is small and difficult to work with due to its age... lots of uneven plaster walls and brick. Gia had always wanted a single source, counter to ceiling style backsplash. Not only would it be a focal point of the space, but it would help in making it look larger overall. After looking through Marino's wide selection of products, Gia and I never once felt pressured or rushed. In fact, the owner Joe took his time with us and answered all of our questions regarding durability, installation process, availability timeline, product warranty... pretty much the pros and cons of all the products he sells and installs there. After a few trips to his showroom, and his professional opinion, Gia and I chose Cambria Delamere Quartz. Joe spent a few hours in our home to measure out each section precisely, so when it came to installation time, he'd be prepared. And prepared was EXACTLY how he returned. Joe and Manny, painstakingly went over every corner, angle, and mitered edge, to make our Delamere quartz look as if it was cut out of a single piece!! And in a home built in 1899, that's no easy feat. He even helped properly measure, center, and bore out the anchors we needed for our new range hood! And he did it all with a smile on his face :) Joe is friendly, knowledgeable, and provides very fair pricing, especially considering that he's a true craftsman. In a world where everything is becoming more and more impersonal and prefabricated, this family owned and operated business was hands down, THE BEST decision we made for our 2nd floor renovation. I visited the showroom based on other Yelp reviews--and they were fantastic! Diana was friendly and helped me pick out floor tiles for a very small bathroom. She gave me her full attention even though it's a small job plus samples to take home. Both tile options were in stock so I went back a few days later to pick up the tiles. i always enjoy going to astoria to shop , eat and eat some more at one of the many diverse restaurants but this time i need some floor and wall tiles for my basement bath bathroom that is starting to fall apart tile wise and marino tiles has been highly recommend by one of the locals in the area . i know zero about tiles but thankfully for a few cell phone pics and first class help from the wonderful lady i was able to get the right tiles at prices that are reasonable . everthing i needed for the project that my pal vinnie will do for me was purchased and all my questions were answered in simple easy to understand english . so many options and styles of tiles and accessories . they make it a stress free visit and if you need them to do the work and installation everything is explained from what has to be done and cost .glad i came here for tiles and would highly recommend them and they also have a yonkers location as well. read more

Marino has an excellent selection of tiles, for both classic and traditional looks and a modern/contemporary aesthetic. Their showroom is filled with so many beautiful options I could not make up my mind on which tiles to select. They are so pleasant and easy to work with and so helpful. Diana is the best, personable and friendly and helpful, she helped me figure out what floor tiles match with wall tiles; Donna is also super friendly, and so helpful. They provide samples and try to please the customer first. I found a tile a little bit cheaper at another store and they matched the price for me and gave me the same tile only much better looking! Great prices, great response times and you don't have to wait more than 2 or 3 days for most tiles either, they seem to have great relationships with their suppliers. I just completed 2 bathrooms with their tiles, work on a lot of fixer uppers and plan to definitely use them in the future. read more
