I had to install hardwood floor to my newly purchased home before we move in. There is only 10 days left before moving in. I visited three other stores before I visited Floor Expo. All other stores could not meet this short deadline due to their schedule and less caring by sales employees. Floor Expo salesman named Oscar greeted us and showed the samples. After he heard our tight schedule for installation, he made a few phone calls and explained our situation to the staff members. They found a way to install within 5 day window. Measurement, wood delivery, and installation were accomplished in 5 days. It was possible because 1. We chose the flooring material from the stock they have in the showroom already 2. Salesman Oscar collaborated with their staff to bend over backward to meet our dead lines. 3. Measurement person came in and measure 2 days later 4. Wood was delivered in 4 days later by an installer named Belthazar without anyone's help on that particular day 5. Belthazar came the next day to remove the carpet and prep the floor all by himself. 6. On the following morning, Belthazar and other staff came and install in 7 hours. Belthazar is an amazing person whose professionalism and caring mind, also he is extremely responsible for what he promised. whatever he says he would do, he did it. No exception. This young man has a great future whatever he pursues. It was an amazing cooperation among their staff to meet my tight deadline. Thanks to them, my wife moved in with a healthy beautiful hard wood floor because she had an asthma attack with the previous owner's carpet upstairs. Floor Expo saved this house and our health. Our experience with Floor Expo in Fairfield was excellent from the first walk into the store through the finished job. Stephanie was the first person we met. She helped us to choose what we wanted and gave very helpful suggestions and possibilities while laying out all the different samples that would help us decide. She consulted with Tony on pricing and scheduling and he answered all of our questions while we were there and in subsequent phone calls was always available. The price agreed upon was the price we paid. No hidden costs. The work commenced on the day promised and each morning the men who had to come to apply each coat of polyurethane were there exactly on time which was of the utmost importance to us since we had to be out of the house for several days and needed to know exactly when to come to let the technicians in. The installer, Balthazar, did a gorgeous job including the creation of beautiful transitions to other rooms and the finishers informed us of the color and shine options to make sure we would be pleased. We had a question about floor care which was answered in person by Tony. Service doesn't get better than that. The new floor is beautiful and the old floor in an adjoining room which they refinished, looks like new and is a perfect match to the new floor, thanks to the skillful work. All in all we are very pleased with our experience and highly recommend Floor Expo. We will be using them for other rooms in our home. read more

This place is incredible! The selection is amazing. They have carpet, hardwood, tile and more. The showroom is beautiful and well maintained. It is easy to find what you are looking for without getting too overwhelmed. The pricing is very good, after receiving quotes from 3 other places, they were not only comparable, but a bit better in terms of value for your money. Oscar assisted us today, and you can definitely tell that he loves what he does. Not only is he knowledgeable, but he is very thorough and detailed in making sure he covers all bases about what it is that you are looking for. As I walked in, I was absolutely amazed to see such a gorgeous and organized showroom. I love my new floors! The wood luxury vinyl in my family rooms adds warmth and coziness. The luxury vinyl, grouted tiles in my kitchen and dining room look like a real stone floor, but without the hard coldness of stone. And I don't have enough complimentary words about Baltazar! His installation work in phenomenal. The lines are all straight with tiles starting at the center of the room and working out. He cuts the tile to exactly fit the area with no gaps at the edges. He had to move a couple BIG pieces of furniture, as well as, the stove and fridge and I never heard one piece of furniture or appliance move, which means he is not dragging the pieces. He totally cleans up the work area of saw dust, boxes and equipment. Plus, Baltazar is a genuinely nice guy. I would definitely recommend and use Floor Expo again. Quality products and service!! If you're looking for flooring of any type head right to Floor Expo and ask for Oscar. He really listens when you tell him what you are looking for... he'll give great design input as well as the pros and cons of the products you are interested as they relate to the room you are looking to cover. When the supplier of our original choice did not have enough product for our job we arranged to go back to the store to select another.. it took us 5 minutes since Oscar had pulled samples based on our previous meeting; what we chose was better than our original choice! The installers were terrific.. on time.. very knowledgeable and meticulous! We were short trim product which was quickly ordered and they returned the following Saturday evening to install! On a scale of 1-5 we would rate Floor Expo a 10. Steven, our salesperson, was very gracious and gave us all the time and space we needed to make our selection. Our installers, Jimmy and Luis, went so far above and beyond in caring about the job they did. They carried a several hundred pound 40' x13' carpet up two flights of stairs to our attic ... and the two stairways leading to our attic both have 180 degree turns. All this because they are craftsman who take pride in their work, and they wanted to see our beautiful carpet installed without a seam. How can you beat that? They really did the impossible. We just bought and had installed beautiful quality laminated flooring for our family room and carpeting for three bedrooms. I thought we would need to spend hours in store making selections. Floor Expo has the whole package! At the store, Eric and Oscar were friendly, knowledgeable, and patient - they never grew tired of showing us samples in their well-stocked showroom. When we had some specific concerns about installation, Eric visited our home to assure us that all issues could be handled. Based on his advice, we changed our mind regarding the type of flooring, and we couldn't be happier with our decision. Due to COVID and other contractor issues, we had to make several scheduling delays and Eric could not have been more accommodating. We had a terrific experience from start to finish with Floor Expo! Steven, our salesperson, was wonderful with helping us decide on which carpet to get and there was no pressure at all. I went to this store twice and I must admit, it was worst experience ever. Guys are very unprofessional, very argumentative and very dishonest. I have already told several of my friends, not to even think of going there and waste their time. Every time you go, they will give you difference price, they promised they will follow up with you via e-mial and they never do and on top of all, they are beyond dishonest!!!!! In my opinion, their reviews on here are totally fake. I would describe associates as dishonest and most unprofessional sales people I have ever encountered with! We are very happy with our floor project through Floor Expo. Our project was a little complicated and we needed several trips to the store to get it right but Oscar was very patient and helpful every step of the way. He even worked with us on pricing to keep everything within our budget. My aunt purchased vinyl flooring for her kitchen, hallway and laundry room, which was in stock, and we also purchased wall to wall carpeting for her bedroom and an area rug.
