They prepared a CAD for the kitchen cabinetry and an attractive center island that opened the kitchen into the dining room and sitting area. Nearly a year later, my wife and I marvel at the beauty of the redesign and quality of construction. The demolition and installations went smoothly and timely. I used Best Carpets and Interiors several times in the past, with "no" issues. I do not know what happened to them but they are now "unreliable" and unprofessional. I called many months ago and spoke with the owner (Mike) to replace damaged laminate flooring in a business in my commercial building. The owner, Mike, had came and measured and said it would be done soon. Several weeks had went by with no calls or updates. I was wondering why no one reached out to give me a status update, so I called the owner. When I called him, he said he would call me back in a few minutes but never did. I was starting to get "fed up" and reached out again, and he started ignoring my calls. When I became totally fed up and left a voicemail of my displeasure, he then put me on automatic - voicemail. I was a loyal and dependable customer to them for years without any issues. I talked to my friend who referred me to Best Carpets and Interiors and I found out that the company's business practices are not what they used to be. After calling several tile-specialized retailers in Bergen County looking for a special trowel required to apply a product called Schluter-DITRA (a separation membrane for a new radiant floor heating system) I came across this retailer who had what I needed when many others did not. They also carry unmodified mortar which I need to apply between my self-leveling underlayment layer and the Schluter-DITRA layer before laying the marble. I also had a tough time trying to find quality unmodified mortar (Home Depot and Lowe's sell an inferior product) Which they conveniently also carried. I stopped by on my lunch break to pick up the trowel and my supplies and found their business to be quite large, clean, and extremely well-stocked with the latest in flooring material. They also had a great selection of exotic flooring material. 5-stars for a great location and a great product line; they had what I needed (After calling several specialized flooring retailers) and I did not have to drive far! read more

I would have given this a 5 star until what happened after installation. Installers brought wrong carpet they said Mike gave them the wrong carpet. Ok they fixed it pretty quick. When done asked for receipt for total. They didn't have any paperwork. We had agreed to add 25.00 for taking up old carpet. But obviously the 25.00 is more important to Mike than whether I was annoyed over wrong carpet coming or installers leaving tools. I paid what was on my receipt. Mike felt the need to send his guy to my house at 9:30 AT NIGHT to get his 25.00. Recommend them? No. Once they have your money cust service goes out the window. read more

I had to purchase new flooring and as usual was confused about flooring choices as their are so many, Mike and his staff were incredibly patient and informative, explaining differences between vinyl, LVT, hard floor such as porcelain and finally carpet. Little did I know their is new technology within carpeting with better products for pet owners (MEEE!) i love carpet in bedrooms but worried about kids/pet stains and so they showed me the goods! I purchased carpet for my bedrooms which i am soooo happy about because i love the feel of carpet and porcelain tiles for my living area! Highly recommend! It was a pleasure working with Mike and his staff. I could not have asked for a better experience. I called ahead yesterday, but arrived at his store a half hour before the store closed. He patiently consulted with me to pick the color of the carpet, came later that evening after he had worked a full day to measure my son's bedroom, and had his workers there this morning at exactly when he said they would be there to do the job. The workers were courteous, professional, efficient, fast, and friendly. They did a fabulous job and left me enough time to get to my next appointment. They moved some furniture that I could not. They disposed of the old carpet by rolling it up neatly in manageable chunks at my curb for pickup and reconnected my Internet to ensure it worked before they left, which was a concern of mine. As it turned out, Mike recommended the perfect color and style of carpet. And he gave me a very fair price. It works beautifully in the room.
