The person they sent out to measure for the new cabinets measured everything wrong witch resulted in draws not being able to open and dishwasher and stove not being able to open properly. The countertop people had to come out 3 times to fix the countertop because it was measured wrong. The manager won't even respond to our calls. Not a good way to do business Golden Source Kitchens. I will preface this with, I rarely give reviews. Working with Golden source began because of an ad on IG. My husband and I went out to the store, we live in the Bronx (about 50 minutes away) to check out what options they had that met our budget. We looked up the reviews. Which weren't really helpful. Some were glowing some were awful. We decided to go with GS, because we felt we liked the one stop shop for everything. Their showroom is spectacular and comprehensive. You're not pressured if you're looking around and opening and closing cabinets and drawers. My husband loved they always had sealed pastries and coffee he could make (in a covid world, that's key!) We began working with Doug, who was really great, he was patient and very knowledgeable. He was able to do the initial plans of our kitchen off of random photos, because we didn't know how to measure. He gave us his work cell, walked us around the show room, showed us options, all great! We said we'd think about it, checked out a few other places, but ultimately decided to go with GS. We went back and began the official process in August of 2020 but with someone else who no longer works at GS. We had a few very frustrating hiccups with deliveries and things not being ordered, that should have been ordered. I had a sink base cabinet that came broken (which happens and is nobody's fault) that delayed us about a month. Then my stone was out of stock. Now, these are all things that aren't the fault of anyone in particular however I am all about transparency and communication. Things happen, plans change, and we roll with the punches, but I felt I had to call GS before anything happened. I am very lucky that I had a great contractor (not associated with GS) who was awesome and patient. My kitchen was not fully complete until November. The upfront work of designing and supporting us with designing the kitchen was a 5* Ordering what needed to be ordered 3.5* Timeliness of the project 3* (i know there are production delays) Communication and transparency after the fact 2* The actual cabinet construction is great, the hinges are awesome, the tile and stone are beautiful. If I could leave 0 stars or negative stars I would. This business absolutely lacks customer service skills, systems and organization. My cabinets came in wrong - for example- the left cabinet's hinges are supposed to be on the left side. On all 4 occasions, they continued to send it on the right. When I asked for a replacement, their response was to just remove it and drill the holes on the other side, leaving noticeable holes in the cabinet. In addition, the cabinets were manufactured incorrectly. They gave me new panels and basically said that I had to unscrew and do the work myself! On all 4 occasions, I had to pick up the items from their warehouse in Paterson. I live 45 minutes away. Save yourself the hassle, money, and don't waste your time on this company. read more

Beaware, horrible and unprofessional service. I was told my cabinets would be ready in 4 weeks, it took golden source kitchen and bath over 3 months to have my cabinets ready! Every time I would call I would be told it would be one more week, after a month and a half from initial order when I called I would get the run arround or just get hung up on. I revisited the place multiple times and the same I would get the run arround. When finally I got in contact with the manager and demanded my money back and explained the situation he took me to their warehouse and had the cabinets and top ready for me for the next day. My boyfriend and I went to Golden source on 12/14/19 and ordered cabinets, quartz countertop, and flooring for our kitchen. Price was good. They said they would be ready for pick-up/deliver in about 2 weeks, bringing us to the end of December. We had the contractor gut out and remove the entire existing kitchen a few weeks later, thinking the material would be in soon so he could install it. So we wait, and wait and wait, now not having a kitchen at all. SOME cabinets are finally installed the first week of FEBRUARY. Then we find out other cabinets are missing. After one was installed, we find out a cabinet door is missing and the cabinets above the fridge were too large and we needed a smaller size (even though they came in to measure). Everything was finished by the end of February. It would be one thing if Golden source kept us in the loop, however, they communicated nothing to us unless we called them. Sometimes they would not even call us back, but they would call the contractor instead to relay the info to us. We would have been a lot more understanding if we were kept informed. Not very professional. Then they had the nerve to mention something about my boyfriend writing a bad review, saying it is "bad for business," so here's mine as well. I ordered a whole set of cabinets and granite countertops from a salesman named Douglas, who was very professional. The price was great and the showroom was huge. When time came around to schedule things Douglas was gone without a trace and I dealt with a salesman named Ruddy who's english speaking skills are limited. At first he tried to charge me more for my order but having had a quote attached to a design already I pushed back. Later he called to say that my Lazy Susan was too big to fit through the doors so they would have to take it apart. I asked why the delivery men can't take it up the back of my house and up the deck, he claimed it was too heavy. It was definitely not, I could have lifted it myself and I am a 140lbs 5'5" female. When it arrived it looked like a drunk ape had literally ripped the plywood apart then tried to tape it together. The delivery man, 1 man, said Ruddy knew about the situation but that he wanted it sent anyway. I STILL have not heard from him, no apology, no customer service. Spoke to a smart young lady named Camile who is currently trying to help me, but she says Ruddy is her manager. Summary: order your cabinets from ANYWHERE ELSE until you can confirm there is some deep restructuring on the management level. read more

Went in with my husband looking for kitchen cabinets and we walked around their entire showroom for about 30 minutes and no one asked us if we needed any help. It was about one hour before closing time and they had 2 sales people. One sales person was busy with a client and the sales woman was in her office with her door closed. Do not go to this place if you need tiles in a reliable amount of time. If you need them in 1-2 weeks, it's not a bad place but there are other places with better selection, prices and readily available. I ordered tiles here and was told they would be in within 2-3 days. 5 days later, I am told they are not in stock and could take 3-4 more days but no guarantee. And no apology at all. On my 3 visits here, I ran into 2 people who were returning batches of broken tiles also. So, it doesn't seem as if they inspect the tiles before they give them to you. Buyer beware. read more

One of the cabinets did not match what I ordered . When I received corner cabinet it had a 9 inch opening for the door ! It also have another opening for a drawer and door which they expect you to turn sideways against the other cabinet . Of course your supplies will fall through . Their solution: I can add plywood. This is not want my floor plan shows . They now want additional money to change cabinet, I do not recommend this store at this time . BE CAUTIOUS WHEN SHOPPING HERE- SERVICE IS ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!! I ordered both my kitchen cabinets and island from this company and I wish I had gone somewhere else if I knew how bad the service was going to be. My cabinets arrived and some were damaged- the company replaced them which is good. However, when it came to my island, it has been hell and back. It has literally been a month since my island has arrived with no cabinet doors on either of the side cabinets and the bottom molding not even fully painted. I have called over 9 different times. I was either put on hold for over 15+ mins then hung up on, or was told someone would call me back and never did. Every time I call, I am passed off to the next person and then the next. When I am able to actually speak with someone, they tell me the remaining parts will be delivered within the next few days...it has already been a month and no deliveries. Also, let me not even get started on wanting to order Kitchen Handles from them too. I have reached out numerous times about this. I guess my $500+ order for handles (in addition to all I have already spent here) is too little money that they want people to spend here. Had I known the service would be so bad, I would've never given my business/money to them. I usually will never speak ill of a company, but for the service I had received here, it was necessary to speak on. I'll give them a two-star as a benefit of the doubt for my kitchen cabinets arriving on time and any damaged pieces were replaced quickly. read more

He is very patient and he cares about doing everything possible to make this process easy. well i'm actually still waiting on my cabinets. figured i'd leave a review maybe someone will have the decency or urgency to finish my transaction. So i ordered my kitchen cabinets in early December. I was guaranteed and promised by Douglas and Omar it wouldn't be later then Jan 15th. So it's Mid February and i'm missing a cabinet actually two lmfao. Haven't been able to cook for two months. They expect the contractor im using and paying which is separate from their business to run the missing shelves up for delivery because they recommended him. So the contractor i'm paying for services is being asked to deliver items that's pretty shameful. I'm very patient and respectful. the service and delivery all seems to be a finger pointing and it's terrible business ethics. cabinet doors aren't lining up flush. i have a gap in lower bottom corner that connects to the wall lmfao. I would give Golden Source 10 stars if I could. I had the best experience. I worked closely with Zaid Zaidan (Zack) who was phenomenal. I provided him with a layout from my architect. We sat together to make sure everything was laid out to my liking. When he came out to measure and actually saw the space, he suggested that we reverse the refrigerator and counter which definitely improved the flow of the kitchen. He provided me with many great options/suggestions without "upselling." When he asked which sink I was interested in, I pointed to a sink in the showroom that is much larger than is actually included in the price. He replied, "You can have it." He couldn't be more helpful to bend over backwards to make sure I was fully satisfied. In fact, it was suggested by my contractor to put an extra piece of counter behind the stove so that it looked finished. I called to ask him if I should reach out to the counter people directly or if he should? He replied with, "I'll take care of it. It's my gift to you." The counter people were out the next day to measure and came the day after that to put the counter behind the stove. I also needed additional pegs and handles to put on other large closet doors that were not bought from Golden Source. I inquired about them to Zack, once again, "I'll take care of it for you." Zack and Golden Source were the best part of my kitchen reno. I should also mention one of the most important things that everyone wonders about which I almost forgot because of the great experience and that is PRICE. Their prices can't be beat. This man had helped me pick out the granite for my last home about 5 years ago, from golden source and for my new home I went straight to golden source and worked with him deciding what kitchen cabinets would go great with my open layout. I first do in-depth research before I spend the money and time on any project, Needless to say his expertise both times saved me a lot of wasted time and in turn money.
