Not a great experience, actually it was horrible. NEVER.AGAIN. I will NEVER go back to either GPS or Kohler. I was doing a bathroom remodel and after the purchase, a wrong item was delivered. It was already installed when I discovered the error and not my contractors fault I called to see what can be done and I was told by the sales person they can give me the correct item but it was up to me to reinstall it at my cost. I raised this to the store manager and then to the district office (General Plumbing Supply) only to be told that it was my fault and that I should have checked the box upon delivery. Okay so perhaps maybe, but no one told me when I made the purchase. My advice, when you get delivery, ask the driver to wait, open up all the boxes, remove all the packaging, check the item and all the parts. Not sure a delivery person would wait for that but that is what I was told to do. Oh, and the district manager told me that I got the right item for my project. Hmmm, is he using my bathroom? Does he know my design? Does he know what I need? Don't think so. I was offered NO compensation just, sorry, but this is your fault. Love a business that blames the customer. I had the good fortune to work with Courtney Weaver. From the minute I walked in I knew I was in good hands. She helped me pick out the most beautiful tile, fixtures, vanity, countertop and shower door, most were custom or special order. I had quite a few issues with my contractor and Courtney was so helpful and patient offering suggestions and swapping what didn't work. It was quite a long process and I got to know her through many months. She would always return my phone calls and e-mails. I would highly recommend Courtney Weaver for any project. Ligia M was an incredibly knowledgable agent and took the time to help me with my kitchen sink/faucet situation. For weeks I've been in search of a faucet that has the longest hose that can reach 30". Every vendor, manufacturer, website, and even AI didnt have a clear answer. Recommend making an appointment. The staff is friendly and tries their best to accommodate but they do seem pretty busy with appointments alone. There is a lot to browse in the store and the salesperson was very helpful - he provided us a folder of information and gave us a quick tour. We were able to browse independently and he checked in on us periodically. This is my preference, especially during a pandemic - would not really want someone shoulder to shoulder with me every step I take. It is really helpful to see their displays - was pleasantly surprised at their offerings and selections which were more than just kohler fixtures. Service was good until I paid for my products. After sales care is terrible at this store. Every time I called my sales associate was busy so I would leave a call back request but she would never call me back. I've rung and left messages over the course of a few days and sent and email and still not received a call. It's like they have a random number generator that they use to decide how many attempts you have to make before they will call you back. Don't spend your money here. read more

What a joke. Went in there, no one greeted us, walked laps around the store, no one asked us if we needed help or even acknowledged us. It looked like the only person working in there was an older female with a customer who was running around with them. Two other couples were in there looking at stuff not being helped, another person walked in after us all while three employees just sat there, one on his phone the other two females talking not even a hello or a glance at any of the potential customers. I asked for help and this one girl gave me such a crazy look and asked me what I needed rudely. Told her to show me a specific item I saw on line ($1500 smart mirror), she got up - she said "here it is" and started walking back to hang out with the other employees as she's saying she can't demo it because it's not set up and then gets real far from us asks really quickly without a pause "anything else? No? Okay" and sits back down goes back to talking. If you see the pictures attached it was the blonde female in the purple chewing her nails and spitting them out on the floor. Meanwhile I'm interested in remodeling two of my bathrooms with all Kohler. Unfortunately the reason why I went there is only because it's close to the house I purchased and it was recommended to me by Kohler store by Gramercy Park that I had a great experience with. You walk into the manhattan store they get your name, someone comes, greets you by name, they get you coffee, they sit with you and go over EVERYTHING - make you want to get things you didn't even need. What a mistake to go to this one, makes me not even want to buy kohler. Atrocious customer service. I worked in retail for 10 years, my standards are low because I know the frustrations... but believe me when I say that this was the WORST. read more

This review is for Ms. Tracy who was my saving grace and who couldn't have been nicer, more professiol and knowledgeable about the product she represents. Firstly I spoke to her over the phone and she suggested to meet later that afternoon in store to hammer out the details regarding my high end bathroom renovation, and so we did. I know what a great and skilled brand representative looks and sounds like when I see one and Ms. Tracy was all that and than some. I just don't get these one star reviews where these desperate housewives are looking for RED CARPET SERICE and are ranting and raving how they were horrified by bad costumer service, SIMPLY NOT THE CASE IN THIS STORE. I do however recommend that you "THE DESPERATE H.W." call your psychiatrist instead, which seems more appropriate for you, judging by your irrational reviews here on Yelp. We showed up and started looking around for two bathrooms we are renovating. We weren't sure we were even going to buy there, but it's a good place to see a stuff. We wound up speaking to and then working with Courtney. She's been very responsive. I did a very quick review of the prices and they were competitive with big box and online retailers. Could I have found stuff a bit cheaper, maybe a smidge, but it would've been a hassle to shop at multiple places and the service more than made up any difference. We received a damaged tub. Courtney had a replacement for us the next day. We forgot to order some accessories, and we had them two days later. We ordered the wrong size sink for one of the vanities, Courtney is setting up an exchange. So, we're not fully done yet, but the Kohler store has been a helpful partner in our process. read more

My husband I visited this store because we are doing a major renovation in a new home and are in the market for Kholer tubs, toilets, sinks and fixtures. The visit to this store alone makes us even wonder why buy a brand with such unprofessional and dismissive staff. We drove from Jersey City -40mins- to be met by a dismissive host named Amanda, who proceeded to leave us standing there idly while she answered and assisted a woman who had a barrage of random questions. Her helping the lady who made it clear that she wasn't buying anything but "just was driving by and decided to stop in" instead of letting us into the store was unbelievable. Afterwards, she was asked to find a sales person to help us and she wandered around the store and decided she wasn't going to do that but instead decided to rearrange paper from the printer in the back. In addition to Amanda, outside of the staff helping people (2), the team ignored us, never said "Hello", never asked if we had any questions walked passed us numerous times. The only time we were spoken to in this store was when a worker with her red coat on and bag on came to rudely let us know that the store is closed so they need customers to leave. I will add she is one of the sales people who walked passed us numerous times without greeting us or asking if we needed any assistance. When one person is rude- it's that person. When a whole sales team behaves unprofessional and dismissive - it's the leadership and the tone from the top. We will be taking our business and recommendations elsewhere. I have to say I was skeptical at first going to a signature store rather than pricing out items individually online or elsewhere. But Eli Muniz made it so easy. He was calm and funny and Completely informative ( knew every inch of the product) and put both my husband and I at ease -and we ended up getting two full bathrooms full of everything for a remodel. !!! Even when things got a little complicated with shipping as we drove two hours to get to the store from upstate, he handled everything magically. I've been going to this store for over a year now since we started rebuilding our home and I have to say Eli has really made our experience with kohler something we won't ever forget. My husband and I walked in to this store so confused and overwhelmed and Eli came right to us and walked us through every style and fixture in the store. He was so knowledgeable and patient and never hesitated to answer any of our million questions. He's gone above and beyond to help us resolve an issue we had due to the plumber installing something incorrect and found us a few options to resolve the problem. He always follows up after a visit and keeps us updated on our orders so we never have to worry about that. Redoing the full bathroom in the family home. Visited here initially to check out the prices. We left with a quote and ended up coming back to purchase the items in addition to a few other items. The individual who helped us was busy so Eli helped us out. I have to say, he was amazing and great to work with. I naturally assumed this place is commission based (that's important to me) and he was so patient and really took his time to help us. A few weeks later we realized we needed a faucet and some additional items - we couldn't help but go back to him directly. He also provides great alternatives to styles - which is always helpful especially when they work great together. Went in to look around as I'm remodeling my bathroom, WOW!!! There was 4 available sales people, all looked at me and kept doing nothing.... right after me there were two men that went in.... I guess they looked more presentable or their car looked more expensive, the sales people got up and tried to help them. I spent good 20-40min in the store, there were people coming in and they were being helped, not one available person asked me if I needed help... I guess me or my car didn't look expensive enough for them to bother helping me:( read more

My husband and I are in the process of a large renovation of our home in Ridgewood, NJ. We were excited when we stumbled upon the Kohler Store in Paramus, NJ. After visiting the store several times and getting ideas about what we liked, we made two appointments to meet with salesperson Ruth. We ordered materials for three bathrooms and spent a significant amount of money. Our experience since that point has been nothing short of a disaster. Incorrect items were delivered and had to be returned. My contractor spent one entire day running around to the General Plumbing Supply warehouse in Hawthorne, NJ to obtain the correct items in time for the plumber to complete our hall bathroom on schedule. Our next delivered had been coded wrong by our salesperson, and we received a toilet and tank of one color and our toilet seat was another color. Once again, the incorrect items needed to be sent back and another delivery scheduled, and plumbing work was delayed. We ordered a beautiful Kohler Carrera Marble sink top along with clay legs. However, we were sold the incorrect plumbing materials to go under the sink. When the plumber began our install, we could quickly recognize it was not the same look as what we saw in the showroom. Again, my husband had to spend more time driving back and forth to the store to obtain the correct materials, and once again our projects were delayed. To add insult to injury, all of these problems, which caused MAJOR delays in our work, were addressed with nothing more than a snide shrug by our salesperson, as if, oh well, it happens...no ownership of the situation, phone calls unreturned, its her day off, not available she's out to lunch, yada yada yada. Zero empathy for the situation or the fact that we are living in a home with demoed bathrooms, and these careless and totally avoidable mistakes are delaying our projects. I am a fair person, and can understand one mistake being made. But three strikes and you are out. The entire process with this store has been a disaster from start to finish. Final word: Renovating your home is stressful enough. Be sure to work with salespeople, suppliers and designers who are competent, thorough, pay attention to detail, respond when you call and know their products. You are spending a lot of money. This place is DEFINITELY not it. Our advice: go to Ferguson. read more

Went there with my Husband, spoke to a lady who claimed to be the manager? We asked her questions, she really did not know too much. We wanted to order a master shower system, but we had no idea what we wanted, she told us we could use a 1/2 rough and a divertor valve......we later found out this was not true.....We needed a 3/4 thermo valve and 3/4 volume controls. This was 3 weeks ago, we left because we needed more help then this place could offer. We ended up buying from Blackman up Rt17, no great shakes either, but better help and better price. The Kohler store staff seemed very green, and really did not understand the product. read more

Great place to find Kohler fixtures that you cannot find in any HomeDepot or Lowe's and their prices are fairly competitive. Customer service is extremely good, just make sure you sign in when you get there because they get extremely busy. You can also make an appointment online. read more

We had an issue with a toilet that needed to be replaced, I spoke with Elizabeth and got a courteous, professional, and competent service as if she read my mind and knew exactly what I needed. She took the initiative to call Kohler's main office and within minutes I got approved for the replacement part and she also made arrangements to ease the delivery and the pick up. I can honestly say that when we will remodel our bathrooms in the near future that we will not look anywhere else to purchase our products. Terrible customer service. We worked with a Kohler designer and based upon her design, we purchased 3 vanity mirrors with overhang lights. The lights didn't project over the crown molding on the mirrors which caused the shade on the light fixture to project directly upon the crown molding. They returned the lights but would not return the mirrors because they said they were custom made. We made this purchased based upon Kohler's design, which did not work. read more
