We had to go with all new cabinets, new counter choices and more, and John guided us patiently through the entire process, helping us choose the best options for us, from overall style, color scheme, and materials. When we had to make decisions while out of town, again, John came to the rescue -- he showed us designs via FaceTime, and when we weren't sure which granite to choose (all long-distance!), we trusted him to help us decide on which one worked best. He was accessible and beyond patient when we kept fretting about this or that detail. The folks behind the scenes were amazing to work with too: Tania and David at the quarry, who designed the granite slabs and backsplash to highlight the beautiful natural stone, and Slawek, whose expertise with cabinetry is above and beyond. The kitchen came together beautifully, with a keen eye to design, professionalism, exquisite craftsmanship, while maximizing use of every inch of space. Many thanks to John and his entire team for giving us our new dream kitchen: tiny but mighty!

I was doing a bathroom remodel and after the purchase, a wrong item was delivered. It was already installed when I discovered the error and not my contractors fault I called to see what can be done and I was told by the sales person they can give me the correct item but it was up to me to reinstall it at my cost. I raised this to the store manager and then to the district office (General Plumbing Supply) only to be told that it was my fault and that I should have checked the box upon delivery. Okay so perhaps maybe, but no one told me when I made the purchase. My advice, when you get delivery, ask the driver to wait, open up all the boxes, remove all the packaging, check the item and all the parts. Not sure a delivery person would wait for that but that is what I was told to do. Oh, and the district manager told me that I got the right item for my project. Hmmm, is he using my bathroom? Does he know my design? Does he know what I need? Don't think so. I was offered NO compensation just, sorry, but this is your fault. Love a business that blames the customer. I found Art of Kitchen Tile & Bath when searching…read moreonline for nearby places I could visit to compare prices to a quote I had already received from elsewhere. After reading the reviews, I figured this would be a good place to comparison shop. Best decision I could have made!!! From the moment I walked in, I knew this was an amazing business. Everyone was super friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Another very important point for me was that there was absolutely no sales pressure. That's a HUGE plus! Long story short, I had received a quote for over $46,000.00 for the cabinets I wanted. This quote did not include any extras like pull out tray/drawers, lazy susans, utensil cabinets next to stove, etc. The price I ended up paying for all of the same cabinets from the original quote from the other guy plus additional cabinets, special pieces, drawer pulls, lazy susan/utensil drawer/pull out trays/drawers, etc. was just under $21,000.00!!! This price was for the exact same manufacturer (Fabuwood) and same exact color as quoted by the other guy...That's a $25,000.00 difference! (If my actual cost seems like a lot please note I got an insane amount of cabinets/pantries, etc.) Also, I don't know how I was so fortunate as to work extensively with Furkhan, but he was incredible throughout the entire renovation process! Despite the fact that I knew what I wanted for our renovations, I knew nothing about the actual process/details. Furkhan was pretty much available 24/7 and spent an endless amount of time with me going over every detail, making sure I didn't miss anything I might need, and answering my never ending questions. He took the time to learn exactly what I wanted and went above and beyond to ensure the desired results! He also came up with ideas that seemed minor but ultimately made the difference between me really liking my kitchen to absolutely loving it!!! (I still just look at the kitchen when I walk in and smile at the results). Another huge plus was that he worked seamlessly with my contractor and everyone else involved in the project (plumber, appliance place, etc.) to ensure the smooth flow of every aspect of the project. Even when I had a small problem with an outside vendor, he took care of it for me and made sure it was resolved immediately. He kept on top of everything going on and kept me updated accordingly. I cannot possibly thank Art of Kitchen Tile & Bath enough for all their hard work. Everyone who has walked into our house cannot stop talking about how beautiful it is and about the quality of the work! And I can never thank Furkhan enough for his insights and suggestions and handling the project with such professionalism as well as following up on every detail to ensure the incredible results we achieved! This is by far the longest review I have ever written. But they are by far one of the best businesses I have ever dealt with so I have to share this information!

Decors US - with the sink in, the drawer doesn't close

I purchased the Eviva Happy white vanity and sink combo online from Decors US on 9/28/23. I am…read moreunclear if that is the headquarters of the actual Eviva company or just a showroom. Decors US used to be in Paramus NJ, but is currently only in Monroe NJ. I emailed them on 10/5 to inquire on an ETA and they said it would be delivered on 10/6 but if I'd not emailed, I guess it would've just shown up. I had no shipping/tracking info/email. We received our vanity/countertop/sink on 10/6/23 so it took a little over a week. The directions say to affix the sink to the marble countertop with plumbing glue & the provided clamps and to allow 48 hours to dry/set. That adds two days to your install. We did that. On Sunday,10/8, we were ready to affix the countertop/sink to the vanity unit and place it atop the vanity where it fits in. Once we did that, the top right drawer would not close. Either the sink was too large or the side of the wooden drawer was too high. It seemed logical that we had the wrong sink. I started Googling everywhere this unit was sold for the specs to see if there was a measurement for the sink. Only one site had a measurement for the sink at 15x11. The box our sink came in said 16x11 and we measured it, so we were convinced we had the wrong sink. My husband called the number for Decors US to see if they were possibly open while I emailed Eviva to start a dialogue there as to what we should do. A guy answered the phone for Decors US. At the same time, I also got a quick email response from Eviva. After taking numerous photos/video to illustrate the problem and explaining to both Eviva and Decors US what was going on with a lot of back and forth, it was decided that we would be shipped a new countertop and sink with a possible ship and delivery of either 10/12-10/13. This left us without a sink or water in our main bathroom since 9/29, since this was a somewhat emergency situation. Taking that long to get a new sink/countertop was not ideal since we knew were going to need another 48 hours to glue and set the sink to the countertop. That left us without a sink/water for two weeks, assuming we could do the install on 10/15. The sink and countertop arrived on 10/13 and we knew as soon as the new sink came, it wasn't going to fit. The style number on the box though was slightly different than the original one we had so we decided to take the new one, thinking maybe somehow it was smaller. We had a hard time trying to compare the new one to the one we had because the one we had was already affixed to the countertop. Decors US/Eviva insisted on taking back the one we already had so we had no choice but to give that one to the delivery guy and take a chance on the new one. We clamped the new one and we placed it on the vanity to see if there was any difference. The drawer still wouldn't close once the sink was in place. The only way to make this work is to cut the one side of the drawer down. You would need to be extremely skilled to do this because the vanity comes assembled & the drawer is not removable. One would have to do this repair with great precision because it has to be done while the drawer is still in it's spot. You can't just trace the line of where it needs to be cut and take the drawer out to do it. We ended up having to take the whole track off. This item has a price range from different retailers online from approx $835-$1500. It was around $748 on Amazon Prime Day on 10/10/23 but that's the lowest I've seen it and we'd already purchased it higher 2 days prior. That's an expensive item to have to saw/sand drawers down when it was admitted by Eviva, that it was somehow a manufacturer error. Most people would have just returned the whole vanity & gotten a full refund but we were pressed for time/space. I was willing to take a partial refund, but it should have been a substantial refund, like 50% off. They first offered me $50 and when I said that was unacceptable, they offered me $150 and wouldn't budge from that. I finally just accepted the $150 because they refused to go any higher. I would never purchase from Decors US/Eviva after this experience. There were many ways Decors US/Eviva could've rectified this situation in a better way. We let them know on 10/8 about this problem. They could've gone in their warehouse/showroom and taken the same sink/countertop they sent us, clamped it & tried it in a same size vanity. If it didn't work they'd have known they had an error, or if it did, sent a whole new unit next day, sent us a new drawer or refunded half my money and called it a day. Instead, I have a trail of approx 25 emails back and forth, arguing, an insulting monetary offer, etc, and a vanity that still had to be modified by us. Luckily, for us, we are proficient in this kind of work. Whoever is sending the emails uses very positive language, telling you to have a wonderful day, but if and when you have a legit issue with their product, they do NOT stand behind their products.

We purchased two vanities, two mirrors, our bathroom hardware, kitchen backsplash tile, kitchen cabinet handles, and kitchen faucet from Mo and his team. It's not a huge store, so they didn't have some items in stock, but this was true for bigger chains as well, so my husband and I didn't mind the waiting so much as they did their best to get us the items quickly. Mo worked with us on pricing and our budget and was always friendly and helpful. When my contractor accidentally used the wrong handle on my of our drawers causing us to be short a handle, I visited Decors and they were awesome enough to give me their one and only handle they had in the store on display instead of having me wait for the handle in the mail. The only downside to Decors is that they charge $100 for delivery (lucky for me, my contractor was willing to pick up the items) and, also, they don't always call when they say they will. They are always busy though, so if you're willing to follow up with them and have patience, they will definitely treat you well!

They take immense pride in their work, caught details we never would have considered, and offered suggestions that took everything to the next level. They started right on time and finished in under 6 weeks (would've been even quicker if our windows and vanities hadn't been delayed by the suppliers). I am still ecstatic about the result -- I mean like I still smile every time I walk into the kitchen and open the fridge door!! Fast forward to Thanksgiving 2022... 4 year old grandson decides to throw something and dented the kick panel under the refrigerator. I was really something rather minor... but my OCD was kicking in big time, so I gave Rissa a call and she sorted it out... and I mean WAY over and above sorted it out. I have rarely ever been as happy with a vendor / provider -- while I had expected the worst, it was very much the opposite -- they have not yet invented words to describe how much I think this firm has some of the best "after sale support" [and we're talking a LOT of years past the actual sale!!]. While I doubt I'll be replacing a kitchen again anytime soon... if anyone ever asks me for a recommendation, there will be zero hesitation on this recommendation.

We worked with Kuche + Cucina for a kitchen remodel in Manhattan and also worked with another…read morerenovation group for the rest of the apartment. We really enjoyed working with Carmi to establish the design and that process was very painless and flexible. We were set to start on renovations in early 2020 however with COVID, we had to delay our renovations due to the building's policy. Kuche+Cucina was super understanding and held our cabinets for us until we were ready and felt comfortable with proceeding with renovations given the circumstances. However, the main reason that this is a 3 star review is that we definitely had some issues working with the renovation coordinator. Though I think we were all in unfamiliar waters with the pandemic I definitely felt like there were quite a few times when the ball was dropped on their side. For example we weren't told in advance that our contractor would need to move certain outlets in order for the cabinets to be installed even though we had asked explicitly beforehand if there was anything that needed to be done in advance. This caused delays in the whole process and required the other renovation company to schedule last minute changes around them which luckily they had no issue with. There were also multiple times that we were asked for information in an urgent manner that we had already provided prior which made the process quite stressful. In addition it seemed like coordination between Kuche+Cucina and the actual workers was a bit messy and just confusing in general. We would be asked one thing by the workers and be told by Kuche+Cucina to just not worry about it. But then later it would come up as a last minute problem and Kuche+Cucina seemed just as confused as we were and said that this was an issue with the contractors rather than take responsibility for their poor communication with their contractors. I expected a profession kitchen renovation company to be more organized especially for a relatively straightforward cabinet installation. Some requests were also totally ignored. For example, we requested that a soap dispenser hole be made in the countertop we ordered and received confirmation from the group but no hole was ever made. It's not really a huge deal to us but it's definitely just one example of many small communication issues that we had with Kuche+Cucina and the communication between them and their contractors. Meanwhile the other renovation company that we worked with for the rest of the apartment work was super communicative and easy to work with even when we hit unexpected road bumps. Since all this occurred during an unprecedented pandemic I would take our experience with a grain of salt but we probably wouldn't choose to work with Kuche+Cucina in the future.
