After reading the reviews, I figured this would be a good place to comparison shop. Best decision I could have made!!! From the moment I walked in, I knew this was an amazing business. Everyone was super friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Another very important point for me was that there was absolutely no sales pressure. That's a HUGE plus! Long story short, I had received a quote for over $46,000.00 for the cabinets I wanted. This quote did not include any extras like pull out tray/drawers, lazy susans, utensil cabinets next to stove, etc. The price I ended up paying for all of the same cabinets from the original quote from the other guy plus additional cabinets, special pieces, drawer pulls, lazy susan/utensil drawer/pull out trays/drawers, etc. was just under $21,000.00!!! This price was for the exact same manufacturer (Fabuwood) and same exact color as quoted by the other guy...That's a $25,000.00 difference! (If my actual cost seems like a lot please note I got an insane amount of cabinets/pantries, etc.) Also, I don't know how I was so fortunate as to work extensively with Furkhan, but he was incredible throughout the entire renovation process! Despite the fact that I knew what I wanted for our renovations, I knew nothing about the actual process/details. Furkhan was pretty much available 24/7 and spent an endless amount of time with me going over every detail, making sure I didn't miss anything I might need, and answering my never ending questions. He took the time to learn exactly what I wanted and went above and beyond to ensure the desired results! He also came up with ideas that seemed minor but ultimately made the difference between me really liking my kitchen to absolutely loving it!!! (I still just look at the kitchen when I walk in and smile at the results). Another huge plus was that he worked seamlessly with my contractor and everyone else involved in the project (plumber, appliance place, etc.) to ensure the smooth flow of every aspect of the project. Even when I had a small problem with an outside vendor, he took care of it for me and made sure it was resolved immediately. He kept on top of everything going on and kept me updated accordingly. I cannot possibly thank Art of Kitchen Tile & Bath enough for all their hard work. Everyone who has walked into our house cannot stop talking about how beautiful it is and about the quality of the work! And I can never thank Furkhan enough for his insights and suggestions and handling the project with such professionalism as well as following up on every detail to ensure the incredible results we achieved! This is by far the longest review I have ever written. But they are by far one of the best businesses I have ever dealt with so I have to share this information!

We bought three vanities from Paramus Kitchen & Bath, one 49" and two 24", and when they were…read moredelivered, quality was well below expectations. All three units had rather big uneven gaps. The drawers on the big one are misaligned. They even installed top drawers in the exact spot where the sinks go, even though we bought the sinks and tops from them at the same time. Our contractor had to tear the drawers apart and reattach the fronts just to make the vanities usable. What is also interesting, when we ordered it, the salesperson did hand-drawing of the big vanity. This drawing is probably the only blueprint that was used during manufacturing. The paint on the edges is already wearing off. There are a couple of places where the primer is showing through. And the vanities we received look somewhat different from the showroom models, which had tight, clean gaps, not the big, uneven ones we got. We even stopped by the store to show them the issues. The person who took our order said she would send someone to our home to look at the problems. We never heard from her again. To be fair, the countertops are exceptionally good. But as we understand it, they are manufactured and installed by a different company that Paramus Kitchen & Bath subcontracts. After vanities were installed, they came to our home, took all the measurements, then in a few days they came again and installed countertops. Top quality. Out of our entire renovation, buying from Paramus Kitchen & Bath was the biggest mistake we made.

When we had to make decisions while out of town, again, John came to the rescue -- he showed us designs via FaceTime, and when we weren't sure which granite to choose (all long-distance!), we trusted him to help us decide on which one worked best. He was accessible and beyond patient when we kept fretting about this or that detail. The folks behind the scenes were amazing to work with too: Tania and David at the quarry, who designed the granite slabs and backsplash to highlight the beautiful natural stone, and Slawek, whose expertise with cabinetry is above and beyond. I had several cracked tiles in my shower that happened years after another company had done by bathroom redo. I contacted John and he made arrangements with me to come and look at my problem. After looking at the issue and seeing that I had replacement tiles, John assured me that he could safely remove the cracked tiles and replace them. Unfortunately, I did not have any grout from the original job. John was able to help me pick out two colors of grout that he thought would mix well together so that it would match. When John started the project and removed the broken tiles he saw why my tiles had broken. The original tiler did not do the job properly. They did not seal the seam between the pieces of backer boards and that was why the tiles were cracking. He fixed that before installing my new tiles. The grout combo worked out perfectly as well! You never would have known that I had ever had tiles removed and replaced. John did an awesome job!! After John completed that job, I also had him repair some grout in my upstairs bathroom that was coming out between some of the tiles. He did that perfectly as well. I could not be happier with how everything turned out! Thanks, John, for a job well done!! I would definitely call him again if I need any other tiling project completed.

I had them fabricate and install a "Santa Clara" granite countertop in my kitchen. They did a great job. Nice neat install and put a full rounded edge on the countertop for no extra charge. I checked other places such as Lowes and a company called Mar-Veck. Castel was the lowest cost and didn't charge for the finished edge. Everyone loves my countertop, I'm glad I chose Castel to design and install it!

As we all know, things happen and sometimes things just happen out of our control so I liked that assurance. Plus I had read about their quality and I liked what I saw. I don't believe you need to get custom everything but I also don't believe in buying the cheapest option available to you. This seemed like the perfect compromise. I was able to meet with a designer, and although we weren't changing much in the kitchen, as we were keeping the original layout, he was able to suggest where we could make some visual architectural tweaks to make the kitchen pop more. I very much appreciated that I could see a full sketch on the computer versus a drawing layout. Once I committed there was a deposit and then the remaining half down and the rest upon completion. I did have a hiccup with the crown molding being a different color, but they were able to order the correct one and it was shipped out within a month. However, I had to pay to have my contractor remove the initial molding and put the new molding up. There were also issues with holes not lined for shelving which we just have to live with or at some point commit to making our own holes. This is pretty poor. It has been about 6 months and so far they are holding up.

SERIOUSLY?...After I continued to call the manufacturer, did I get a commitment on when it would be shipped..ONE YEAR and a week, new, replacement door arrived from the manufacturer.Correct shade of white, but poor fitment which caused me to remove shelves to install and adjust. There was no way I would have trusted a third party to do this work. I hired a friend of mine who is a second generation cabinet maker. He had to re-design one of their cabinets which was made to wrong specifications. ALBA did pay for that mistake. There are no more excuses for improving this experience
