Romeo is a pleasure to work with--professional, approachable, and knowledgeable. He came recommended by my parents, after completing their bathroom remodel, and we're so glad we chose him. During the consultation, Romeo suggested smart updates to our 40-year-old bathroom. One of the best ideas was relocating the radiator into the wall, which freed up a significant amount of space. His entire crew are experts in their craft, ready to provide advice when asked. They worked diligently each day--even through the summer heat wave. They often stayed late to keep the project on schedule. Romeo was very knowledgeable about our town's construction standards and was present throughout the inspection process to made sure everything went smoothly. Once the project was complete, he personally spent an entire day polishing and perfecting the bathroom so it was ready for us. It's clear Romeo and his team take great pride in his work, and it shows in every detail. He mentioned that he also handles projects beyond bathrooms, and based on our experience, I wouldn't hesitate to hire him again or recommend him to others.

He gives us his honest opinion on every single project even if it doesn't benefit his business. Romeo and his team were always punctual and completed each project within the agreed timeline. They were also very respectful of our workspace (since my partner and I sometimes work from home). Above all, Romeo and his team did a beautiful job. They've remodeled my bathroom, refinished floors, built a custom shelf from scratch, knocked down walls to open up my living room, and covered up windows to mount 86" tv and media unit! We are grateful to have found a reliable and trusted contractor in the area. I highly recommend him. Thank you, Romeo!

I hired Wilber's to paint the exterior of my house. Christian, the estimator, matched the price of…read morethe lowest of the other three painting estimates that I got. He also met my need to get the work done as soon as possible. In fact, after telling me that there was a two-month waiting list, once I approved the estimate, they showed up to begin the job just two days later. Not sure how that happened, but I'm not complaining. Steven, the job foreman, was very professional and highly skilled, notwithstanding his youth. Why do people I meet keep getting younger? He is a perfectionist, a virtue which you rarely encounter with home contractors. He even helped guide me with the color selection. I threw him a few curve balls during the job, and he did everything I asked him to do with a smile. He and his crew were on time every day, and were all polite, neat, and hard-working. They are acrobats on high ladders, and barely dripped a drop of paint where it didn't belong. The finished job looks great, and exceeded my expectations. It is also worth mentioning that Wilber's guarantees the durability of the paint job for three years. All the others who bid offered a two year guarantee. I can't speak to their other services, but I would hire Wilber's again for a major painting project, and recommend them.

There had been a leak…read morethat was slowly getting worse, a leak that was not fixed properly by the last roofing company a few years ago. Who could I trust?? Did we really need a new roof ?? Can anyone fix this leak?? I had several estimates, had 4 different companies come and tell me what would fix that leak. The range of remedies was vast and varied in costs. CHARLIE with ON THE SPOT was the first to come take a look. Right away I was impressed with his knowledge, he was very kind, respectful and professional. He came when he said he would, took pictures, & explained everything so that I could understand. He found the problem that the other guys didn't even mention & it made perfect sense. He is honest and that is a gift beyond measure in todays world. My Mother and I felt totally safe with him and he even encouraged us to follow thru with the other estimates I had scheduled. In the end, we hired ON THE SPOT and are so so so glad that we did. They were on time, worked quickly, were very clean and cleaned up any shred of debris from the job. They were mindful of our dogs, keeping the gates closed even when our dogs were inside. AND THE LEAK IS FIXED!!! We just had a massive drenching a few days ago AND IT DID NOT RAIN IN THE KITCHEN!! NO LEAKS!! THANK YOU CHARLIE WITH ON THE SPOT! We will be telling our friends and family and will definitely hire them again as they do home improvements as well. Knowing that you have someone that you can trust in all aspects is priceless...so glad we found ON THE SPOT

I would not recommend On The Spot under any circumstances. Immediately after signing the contract,…read morethe red flags started popping up and did not stop until I was abandoned in an endless field of them. It felt like my project was managed like a game of hot potato, with no one person taking responsibility from beginning to end, but instead, by lots of people who seemingly never collaborated and also managed lots of other projects as well as evolving roles within the company. The subcontractors that they used to do my project varied wildly in terms of the quality of their work and experience. Working with On the Spot is not an experience I'll ever reflect upon with any fondness. Everyone has that friend/neighbor/realtor's nephew who had an awful experience with a contractor. Well in this case, I am that friend/neighbor/realtor's nephew and On the Spot is that contractor. Look elsewhere.

Nice person but was unable to fix the issue and never returned to finish the job of patching up…read moreholes in ceiling and walls. Stopped communicating and never came back. Charged a decent amount of money without resolution or completion and left things in poor condition. Update: In response to David's comments that I, unfortunately, missed a few facts. I apologize, here they are... There was not "another" leak, it was the same leak. The ceiling should have been opened the first time to check for the leak yet you said you wanted to take the "least destructive" path and patch "a couple" of tiles in the shower. Then you scraped & repainted the ceiling and it leaked through again within a week. And yes, when you came back and opened the ceiling this time, there were ants because ants are drawn to and thrive in moisture and there was a leak - ergo the reason we called you in the first place. You cut a large hole in the ceiling and then 2 large holes in the bathroom wall and said you couldn't find a leak and then said "Sorry, my fault, I missed a spot patching the tile and fixed it and it should now be good" You ran the shower for about 1 -2 minutes; no leak noticed and patched the walls and ceiling and "slathered" spackle over them. You didn't have time to let it dry because it was so thick. You said you would be back to add another coat of spackle when it dries and smooth the surface because one coat was not enough for the size holes. I said that would be great and you did not need to repaint it, but I would appreciate it if you could finish the patch and smooth it to a paintable condition and I would paint it. And you said "no charge" since it was your fault. David never returned. He answered my texts two weeks in a row saying he would try to get back that week but didn't show and never texted with an update. That was well over a month ago. There are plenty of nice comments on here and like I said David seems to be a nice guy but this was to warn that if you have a leak from an unknown source, need large holes patched or need to have a job done in a reasonable amount of time, he is probably not your guy. David, yes you said you would fix it for free since it was your fault you missed the grout in shower area in the first place, however, once you returned to complete, I planned to pay additional for your time and effort. As it turned out, my son visited from out of state and looked and said the "entire" corner of the shower should be re-grouted or it will leak again which he did for us while visiting or it would probably be leaking again.
