Showed up on time and did a great job. Once the paint dried, I noticed that we needed an extra coat, and they came quickly to resolve it.

Touch Of Paint - Livingroom - Painters Near Me

I really hate writing negative reviews, but here I am taking the time to write an honest review of my experience with Touch of Paint LLC - which i likened to being cut open and left on an operating table while the surgeon goes on an extended coffee break. I can provide so many details about the poor workmanship quality, the missed deadlines, the haphazard manner of operations, the weak response time (especially after payment has been made), the carelessness of the workers but I do not have time to air them all out here. To those who really want to know, drop me a PM. 1. Poor workmanship quality: Mixing up the colors, irregular paint lines in corners, trimmings and ceilings, failing to patch up walls before starting to paint (not referring to ad-hoc requests, just the regular spackling of small indentations), left over paint on door trims, ceilings... 2, Missed deadlines: What was supposed to be a 4-5 days job became a 2+ week horror. This has nothing to do with the ad-hoc requests, but mostly due to the fixes that they have to make due to the terrible workmanship. Do it once, do it good sir! 3. Haphazard manner of operations: Countless times where their equipment knocked/scratched against our walls/ceilings which then has to be respackled and repainted. When painting corners, they go freehand (without painters tape) - very stable hands, not, and resulted in the uneven edges. There was no QC by Cory or anyone. The onus was on us, the customers to perform the 1st line of review (a time waste and just unprofessional). In fact all the issues were pointed our first by us to which Cory would agree. 4. Weak response time: This is very frustrating. Prior to signing the contract, Cory's SMS were very prompt. However, after payment, the response time could extend up to an entire day with the reason given that he was busy with another job. If you are a reputable business owner, that reason wouldn't fly anywhere. 5. Carelessness of workers: For the most part, i had the feeling that they didn't treat the house with respect. They were keen to get the job done with the least number of workers (most of the time its only just 1 worker). I totally understand the need to increase profit margin, but to have that at the expense of quality... that is again, very unprofessional. I would say however, that Cory is a decent conversationalist and he did help us with a couple ad-hoc requests such as patching up large gaps in our walls from the removal of devices, as well as the damage on the walls caused by the movers. Unfortunately, all these goodwill is marred by the un-professionalism and weak workmanship from Touch of Paint LLC, resulting in me, the customer having to invest a couple hundreds to grab my own paint and tools to make those fixes. For the reason, i think they are better suited for commercial projects or outdoor projects where quality might not come under scrutiny. A couple other reviewers seem to also have the same experience. Cory, i wish i could make it an open house so that you and the crew can keep coming back to make the fixes but that is not possible. At the end of the day, I believe there is a market for everyone and if you are a meticulous person who is excited about their new home and is looking for a decent paint job, then unfortunately, Touch of Paint LLC might not be the best people for the job. My heart sinks when i see what Cory and team have done to the place. I initially wanted to award 2 stars, but after continuously finding new issues with the paint job every single day, i am now dropping it back to a more deserving 1 star. Cory, I am looking to get a partial reimbursement for the labor and materials that i have incurred to make these fixes on my own then I will bring it up to 2 stars when the costs are more aligned with the quality of the job. Notes: Paint used is Sherwin Williams EMERALD range. read more

Corey with Touch of Paint is great. His pricing was great and his customer service is superb. They quoted me as taking two days to finish doors, trim, a hallway, a foyer, and two large rooms (formal living and dining room). The project ended up taking five days, but it was not unnecessary. They were detail oriented and only came out on the firth day to clean up and touch up any small sports. His crew was knowledgeable and trustworthy. They were flexible on timing and scheduling. I will be using them again. read more

I could not be happier with my experience with touch of paint. I was under a time crunch and no other places even returned my calls. Cory came over the next day to give me an estimate. I explained my time restraints and he went out to his truck and got his supplies and it was taken care of in a couple hours. The quality of work was great and he was so friendly. He even called the next day to make sure it dried okay and I was happy with the result. read more

I'm a first time, Jewish, homeowner. Which basically means that screwing in a lightbulb is the extent of my "around the house" skills. So when I needed my deck stained, I turned to Yelp and found Cory at Touch of Paint. Cory came by with his guys, we agreed on a stain and price, and the deck was fully stained a couple of days later. The deck came out great, we love the color, and Cory was very professional and accommodating throughout the whole process. I definitely recommend them if you need someone to paint your house or stain your deck! read more

We called on Touch of Paint to have just one room painted in our home. Corey and his team responded quickly and got the job done efficiently. They also tore out an old carpet for us. Thier work was of high quality and they were very pleasant, friendly and professional. The reviews I read on Yelp were on target! We, too, will be using Touch of Paint for paint jobs in the future. Very Unhappy. At first, the job looked like it was done well, but the paint scratches off extremely easily. Simply touch your nails to it and it comes off, exposing the old paint. After reaching out to them, we scheduled a day for them to come prime and re-paint the wall that is scratching off. THEY NEVER SHOWED! This is horrible customer service, a terrible paint job, and now I have to hire someone else to fix it after I already paid them $1000 to paint a room in a commercial building. read more

I would have given them 1 or 2 stars but giving them three because even after getting paid in full they came back multiple times to fix the issues that I was facing. They aredefinitely honest and reliable. They did help me to get in my house with in 4-5 days but the kind of work they did was not what I expected (it was very sub par). However Guys who were working very very respectful and whatever I asked them , answered very politely, cleaned up once they were done. The people were very nice but the work that I paid for.. I am not at all happy... read more

The painters showed up on time-finished on time-painted to the specifications requested , and completed the work for the price quoted. They scraped off a lot of old paint and cleaned up after themselves (they actually left it cleaner then they found it) and they did a really nice, neat, clean job. Paint was even-and the porch looked like new when they were done Painters were very polite and respectful I would highly recommend them read more

I must say this company is awesome cory the manager is quick, fast, honest and gives a great deal. I was shopping around to multipl companies for an estimate and i was being over charged becuause they were adding extra fees and "extra work" they had to do along with telling me it would make 7 days to complete the job. I called corey on a friday night got a quote the saturday and they did the job the monday and was completed in two days. They really transformed my apartment i was renting out and it was very quick and fast. They quality paint as well was not the cheap stuff and they were on time which is important they were not late or wasted my time because time is money, i will definately contact them to help with my other properties as well you wont be disappointed. read more

There are plenty of positives about our experience with Touch of Paint. The owner, Cory, is courteous, professional, eager, and hands-on. While we are very satisfied with the final work product, I do want to extend some constructive feedback - in our case, the trim of the garage was supposed to have been painted but was left unpainted, and the paint crew had left for the day. Cory, to his credit, immediately contacted the paint crew and they returned to complete the job. In this area, I would encourage clearer instructions to the paint crew as to the scope of work. We're planning another job with Cory in a few weeks, and look forward to working with him again. read more

We used Cory and his team for some paint work at our townhome. They did a meticulous job and were professionals throughout the entire process. Everyone at this company is highly professional, polite, and very adept at what they do. THE WORST COMPANY EVER !!! DO NOT HIRE, YOU DO NOT GET WHAT THEY CLAIM TO BE. THE FACTS OF EXACTLY what they left me with a NIGHTMARE, This group of non experienced painters came into my home and proceeded to DO WHATEVER they wanted without the proper training , planning and protection, needed to get the job done. They started painting(never even finishing any area completely) the trim through out my entire home not even using drop cloths /rosen paper or even PAINTERS TAPE, NO PREPARATIONS taken to properly prep, sand, patch up nail holes, or even use painters caulk to prepare the walls and trim. SLOPPY, MESSY, JUST UNBELIEVABLE all of which resulted in them damaging my carpets and hardwood floors , paint splatters EVERYWHERE, and insult to injury they even caused damaged to the exterior pavers of my home because they stepped in paint and tracked it through a brand new driveway that has just been installed. They used PAINT THINNER in a failed attempt to clean up their mess on my limestone steps , and also on my HARDWOOD floors removing the varnish causing discoloration and even more damage. THANK GOD I HAVE VIDEO OF THEM AND PHOTOGRAPHS With the time and date. We have been in contact with someone in the office they agreed they would be upset also, then we invited them to come and look at the damage WE ARE STILL LIVING WITH THE MESS they left us with. NO RESPONSE from them as of yet. WE GOT RIPPED OFF. read more
