I cannot recommend Precision Painting Plus based on the quality of work delivered on my project…read more The entire job felt rushed, and the attention to detail was severely lacking. Here are the specific issues with the finished work: Poor Wall Coverage: There are visible roller marks across the walls. It looks like a single, hasty coat was applied rather than a proper, thorough finish. Neglected Baseboards: The baseboards were inexplicably painted with a clear, colorless paint. The inexperienced painters did not realize they were using a non colorless paint and continued to paint the trim with it. After getting the correct paint the trim has highly visible drip marks, adding to the rushed appearance. Overlooked Prep Work: The bedroom ceiling still has visible cracks that were completely overlooked and left unaddressed. What is most disappointing is the lack of quality control. The job was deemed "complete" and payment was requested by the project manager who verified that the work was done to a professional standard, which it wasn't. I expected much better craftsmanship and attention to detail for a professional painting service. I will not be using this company again or recommending them to others.

I had an excellent experience with A&S Quality Painting and would highly recommend them. From start…read moreto finish, they were responsive, professional, and easy to work with. Paulo and the team communicated clearly throughout the entire process, followed up consistently, and kept me informed on timing. Their pricing was very competitive, and the quality of work exceeded expectations. They did thorough prep work, including power washing the entire house along with scraping and sanding where needed. They also applied primer where appropriate and finished with two coats of Benjamin Moore paint, which really shows in the final result. They even took care of replacing damaged shingles, which was a huge plus. The crew was punctual, very pleasant, and paid great attention to detail. Any questions or concerns were addressed immediately, and they made sure everything was done right. The house looks amazing. Overall, a smooth and professional experience--I would absolutely use them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality exterior painting. Addendum: After the job was completed, I noticed an area that was missed (hard to catch even by me since everything was white). I reached out, and they immediately sent the team back the very next day to take care of it. That level of follow-up and care really stands out--the job was already done, but they still came back without hesitation to make it right and stand by their work. Would definitely recommend.

On the negative, this is the first time in my 20 years of home ownership that I will need to hire a second contractor to remediate the work of the first. The painting and caulking was extremely sloppy, paint dripped onto my custom tile floors, baseboards were cut with gaps between the floor and the wall and not flush with the joining pieces. I raised each item to the team and shared pictures. The work was partially remediated and then the team demanded payment. Their prices were not less than their competitors and I now regret not going with someone else, as I will have to hire a competitor to fix the sloppy work of J&K.

Absolutely not recommended!!! Although this company…read moresuccessfully completed an expensive job painting the exterior of my house during the summer of 2021 and were promptly paid in full for their services, they really "dropped the ball" concerning two other paid in full jobs left unfinished, as well as one never started, even after being given two substantial deposits for it. I ended up hiring and paying another highly respected and reputable carpentry/painting contractor to finally complete the caulking and painting of the V.K. & Sons Inc. installed Anderson sliding glass door and Pella window after I had been told that I had to wait for warmer temperatures which I patiently had done. In addition, after waiting almost 90 days, I made the decision to hire and pay another highly respected and reputable carpentry/painting contractor to successfully start and complete a nice interior job that V.K. & Sons Inc. was supposed to do which unfortunately never materialized. I had been told that the interior job would be scheduled soon after the Christmas and New Year holidays, but that just never happened. I finally realized that my job either had been forgotten about, or had been "kicked to the curb" based on the number of recent GOOGLE reviews V.K. & Sons Inc. had received from other customers who had their interior paint work completed. On a positive note, I requested and did promptly receive back my deposits from V.K. & Sons Inc. for the interior job "screw-up", but I cannot ever consider using or recommending them ever again. My being told "good riddance" by the "owner" in an e-mail after he stated that I could pick-up my refund check at the V.K & Sons Inc. Oakland, NJ shop location did not really help much either. There are many other excellent carpentry/painting contractors that sincerely appreciate customers not only who pay promptly, but more so when they give repeat business. Unfortunately, V.K. & Sons Inc. did not recognize this in the way my jobs were handled.
