Basement finishing Excellent quality and very responsive and professional. Highly recommended read more

We used Morgan Contractors for a basement remodel after our basement was flooded - which required a full remodel in that bathroom and living space. I can't speak highly enough of the quality of work from Antoine and his team. Our basement is now the most modern-looking part of our house, such an incredible transformation! We loved their work so much that we plan to use them for other big projects around the house. I highly recommend Morgan Contractors for any work you plan to do around the house! read more

I have used Morgan Contractors twice and they do outstanding work and take great care of their clients. Antoine has been particularly amazing. Any concerns that may arise, he is respectful, quick to address and ensure the process remained consistent, smooth, and of the utmost quality. As a new homeowner, it's such a relief to work with a team that has great knowledge and a keen eye for pointing out any opportunities for improvements whether for aesthetics or safety. As I continue to make upgrades on my home, I look forward to a long relationship with this team. read more

Our bathroom upgrade was the second project that we worked with Antoine and Morgan Contractors. They never disappoint! Antoine is a great listener. He hears exactly what you need, and follows through. He is responsive and communicative. The workers are excellent craftsmen who always have a keen eye for detail. This project was another seamless experience from start to finish. We are thrilled with the final result. We highly recommend Antoine and Morgan contractors for all home improvements and renovations. read more

I had the pleasure of watching Morgan Contractors rebuild and do an addition to a house in my neighborhood and I was so impressed with the progress and outcome that I decided THEY would be my contractor! Antoine listened to what I wanted (gut, expansion, and laundry room relocation from basement to 2nd floor) and he came up with a plan that was within my budget and that I'd be happy with. He was informative, reassuring, supportive, and kept as close to my budget as he could. Each time I had a "change" he would tell me what my request would entail which enabled me to make an informed decision. I am more than pleased with the final outcome! read more

We are very happy with Antoine and his crew. He was quick to respond to us and stayed in close touch throughout our project. They completed the job on time and everything looks great, especially thanks to Antoine's help in designing the remake of our porch. The crew was clean and neat and professional. We would recommend Morgan for any size project. read more

All around great work and a complete contracting solution. Antoine provides the business expertise, organization and follow-through that most contractors lack. The team is also very helpful in problem solving issues that may arise. Look forward to working with them again soon! read more

I am beyond pleased with work recently completed in my home by Morgan Contractors. Antoine was extremely responsive and had his crew on site in a short amount of time, as promised. The crew were very professional and meticulous in their work. I am completely satisfied with the job completed and all done at a VERY reasonable cost!! I would highly recommend Morgan Contractors and would 100% use them again read more

Morgan Contractors built a new bathroom in my basement with regular sheet rock instead of cement rock! I ended up with mold, and had to hire a new contractor to fix the issue. I also had to purchase all new materials! Stay away!!!!!!! read more

Morgan Contractors - Molded wall - General Contractors Near Me

Performed the repair work required at a fair price, in a timely fashion, and within original budget. Were especially cooperative when the job got interrupted because of issues having nothing to do with their work. read more

Antoine and his team came to my rescue following a MAJOR dishwasher leak that left my kitchen, living room, dining room, and front entrance with water damage. The tile and hardwood floors needed to be removed and about 2-3ft of all of the walls. Downstairs in my finished basement resulted in practically a gut job due to the water damage. I utilized ServPro for restoration and one of the workers recommended Morgan Contractors to as they have worked with Antoine and his team in the past and said his quality work is amazing and he's good to work with. Antoine came out immediately to see the house and provide an estimate within days of coming out and to provide his expertise and recommendations when working with my insurance company. The adjustor provided by my insurance company was not the fastest worker.. so I was actually able to provide Antoine's estimate to the adjustor who then used the estimate to complete his part of the insurance part. Antoine continued to be available for phone calls or quick email responses for the million questions I had. Thank god he has such experience working with insurance companies on these type jobs because he continued with his advice and recommendations for me to utilize when dealing with my insurance and mortgage company which is why I was able to get the check in somewhat of a timely manner. If I didn't have to deal with my insurance and mortgage company, this would have been a very easy process with Antoine and Morgan Contractors. He and his team have been incredibly communicative and professional throughout this massive project. They started the project early and ended ahead of time and were so easy to work with. They went above and beyond in my bathroom that was not affected by the leak, I chose to do some renovations but couldn't afford too much and they even painted the room for me without charging me! My house looks beyond amazing and I couldn't be more grateful. I would recommend Morgan Contractors to everyone and would work with them again for my next project!!! read more

All in all, we had a pretty good experience with Morgan Contractors. It was a big job from the attic to the basement, that took a lot of time & effort. Antione said they could handle it and it really took some time and doing, but they eventually got it all done. We can't say enough as to his crew, they really work hard to keep things moving along, and provided some quality work, craftsmanship, and personableness throughout a massive project. We are satisfied with the finished project and most happy to be back in our home again. read more

Morgan Contractors built our new kitchen exactly as we wanted it. The Morgan employees were very professional, thorough, great craftsmen and builders. The 450 square foot kitchen was demolished down to the studs and rebuilt to perfection. If ever anything was not perfect, it was corrected until it became perfect. The 1904 home brought some inevitable surprises which delayed the job, but nothing they couldn't handle. Everything took longer than expected, but demo, cabinet installation, floor, tile work, trim work, window/door installs were all done to our satisfaction, sometimes surpassing our expectations. The team was friendly, neat, respectful and professional. Any issues that came up were addressed, they are concerned about keeping their customer (us) happy. Avoid doing business with Antoine Bullock and Morgan Contractors. SAVE YOUR TIME AND HARD EARNED MONEY!!! ESPECIALLY do NOT give him a large deposit. Read up on Consumer Rights in NJ and do not pay more than 10% at the beginning of a contract. Antoine was terrible to work with. It was like dragging a dead dog to get ANYTHING done! He had our money and drug his feet in the hopes we would just go away. He owes thousands of dollars for work he was paid for but did not perform. We have sent him at least 3 letters of complaints and demands for performance. Terrible at communication! Believe the other BAD REVIEWS!!! Came up with just excuse after excuse for lack of accountability, shoddy work, lack of communication, etc. Shoddy work! We gave him EVERY chance to perform and he failed. He does not properly supervise and coordinate his crew. He has no idea what is going on and does not care about the quality or lack thereof of work performed. Exposes families to undue COVID risk!!! We had at least 12 different people come in and out of our home at all times of the day and night. read more

If you are looking for a disaster, go ahead hire this company, otherwise run, run far away. We hired them for a gut Reno and addition, and the headache started on day 2. Right after getting our first deposit, they brought garbage and debris from another construction site and dumped it on our yard. It never got better from there. From the bloated change order to the subpar work, the list is too long. All they care about is draw before the work is complete and as if that is not enough, they will stop responding looking for you to fire them while they are ahead with your cash in their pockets. Did I mention that the owner is very arrogant with very little knowledge about construction? There you have it. Run, run, run. read more

Very bad guy to work with. He is a big liar, very rude. He delayed my project for 3 months and just stopped picking up the phone and stopped replying to messages. Most unprofessional guy! read more

I would highly recommend Morgan contractors. I received a quote for some work on my kitchen that was very reasonable and after reading some of the yelp reviews I decided to go with someone else which I regretted very much. This time when I needed some work done, I decided to look past the reviews and give them a try... and I'm so glad I did. Best decision of my life! They redid my back entryway, retiled my foyer, fixed some water damage on my ceiling among some other jobs. If you're reading this, know this, Morgan does an excellent job and I will be using them again for my bathroom remodel next year! read more

This was a our second time using Morgan Contractors. The first time we used them was to remodel our basement. They are one of the best contractors. Our primary contact was Antoine. Antoine is friendly, prompt, and on top of all of his jobs. While this was a minor job, we were given first class service. Antoine answered every question promptly; started and completed the job on time; and the price was reasonable. We will use Morgan Contractors again. We highly recommend them. read more

We used Morgan Contractors for a basement update. Antoine was responsive and professional. We did not see him often but he was always responsive. The head contractor Joel was there every day to lead the project. The workers they brought in respected our space, were professional, did clean, good work, and were communicative overall. I would recommend and use Morgan Contractors again. read more

Poor communication. Would not respond to emails when I would express legitimate concerns. Mediocre work. The crew was expected to rush through the job as quickly as possible. Project ran several weeks over. There were weeks where there was no one on the job site and it was never due to a delay by the town. Project scope did not take into account all elements required to properly finish the job, so found multiple change orders and extra costs stacking up very quickly. And I'm still left having to pay someone else to resolve some of the issues left due to the poor scoping. The experience was stressful and the outcome was disappointing. On the plus side, the crew is AWESOME. The owner is lucky to have them. read more

Antoine Bullock took a deposit of $5,285 in August of last year. Project was supposed to be completed by the end of September. Worked a day and a half doing $950 of work (per his contract). Each time we met, he advised me of what he forgot to put in the contract and the price kept rising. He has done nothing since last September and I advised him that I didn't want him back. He claims that I breached the contract and refuses to return unearned money. Public record shows his home is in foreclosure by a bank and large federal tax liens have been filed on the property. Stay far away! I'd be sceptical about any positive reviews. read more

Pigs. I needed them for a job and they were so short and rude to me. They kept on asking me if they could talk to my husband instead of me. I will never deal with this rude woman hating company again and I suggest everyone else does the same. It amazes me how all these places stay in business with such mean people working there read more
