Glass wall for shower
Clinton D.

We originally got estimates to do renovations on our previous home. We ended up up not doing the work at that time but Vic's attention to our needs made him memorable. Fast forward a few years and our new home needed a bathroom enlarged and made accessible. Vic and Chris came up with a plan to make the vision come true. They were even able to get an enlarged shower pan to accommodate our needs. Total professionalism and always available when you call. Work was completed in a timely fashion and with quality. Now on to the next project!!

Great experience working with Vic and Magnolia. We had our kitchen gutted to the studs and had major structural work done as well (tearing down a load-bearing wall, part of the roof, etc.). Also had a composite deck installed from scratch. The work was completed well ahead of schedule with very little "down time". The subcontractors all did very solid work and communicated very well whenever we had questions. Also, Vic was super responsive via text or phone, when it was needed. I'd definitely recommend them to anyone who has a complex project that requires a variety of subcontractors. Entire project took 9 weeks which was WAY AHEAD of the original schedule.

We recently finished a first floor townhouse renovation with Magnolia, which included a total kitchen gut, new flooring throughout, all new lighting, painting, crown molding, etc. We absolutely hands down loved everything about our experience with Magnolia from start to finish. Renovations can be stressful but not with Magnolia. Vic is beyond professional, has a high degree of integrity, great attention to detail and truly cares about customer satisfaction. He has an amazing team who we worked closely with every day - Nichole, Chris C. and Alexis. They were extremely responsive and buttoned up which was very important to me. I knew at the end of each week what was going to happen the following. If something changed I knew about it immediately. I also cannot say enough about the vendors Magnolia works with. They all work together seamlessly so there is never a mistake. I was also very impressed with how much the vendors respect Magnolia. Every one of them told me that they are the best and they really are. Anthony, the kitchen designer, was amazing with our cabinetry - he gave me a dream kitchen with the small area he had to work with. We feel lucky and grateful we found Magnolia and went with them, since it was a big undertaking for us. I was always so confident throughout the process and I am very fussy and meticulous. But so is the Magnolia team! They take pride in their workmanship. If there was a slight bump in the road, it was rectified in a minute. I can't imagine working with anyone else. We just contracted with Magnolia for a second project - a bathroom renovation. We put off these projects for years because we never trusted any other contractors to take on the scope of the work. There was always a "but" or a "what if". We have all met or used bad contractors. For all these reasons and more, I highly recommend Magnolia to anyone contemplating any kind of renovation - you won't be sorry. Just call Vic!

We cannot say enough good things about Katamount Construction Consultants. What started as a major…read moreexterior and interior renovation turned into one of the best contractor experiences we've ever had. This was not a small project. They completely replaced our roof, siding, soffits, gutters, fascia, restored our hardwood floors, handled trim work, doors, and even asbestos remediation. From day one, the level of professionalism, craftsmanship, and pride in their work was obvious. What impressed us most was the precision. Every measurement, every cut, every detail felt intentional and exact. Nothing looked rushed, sloppy, or "good enough." The crew treated our home like it mattered, and that level of care is rare these days. And the work ethic? Absolutely unbelievable. These guys were on site working from 8:00 AM until 7:30 PM some days, consistently focused, organized, and moving with purpose. No standing around scrolling phones. No disappearing for three-hour lunches. Just skilled people working hard and taking real pride in what they do. The final result exceeded our expectations in every possible way. The house looks incredible. The quality is top shelf, the craftsmanship is top notch, and the transformation honestly feels dramatic. We've already had neighbors stop and compliment the work, which, let's be honest, is basically the suburban version of winning a Tony Award. What also gave us confidence hiring them for this project is that they renovated our bathroom about a year and a half ago, and we STILL love it. Everyone who uses it comments on how beautiful it is. It's one of those rooms where guests suddenly need to "wash their hands" for ten minutes just to look around. This company cares about quality. They care about details. And they care about the finished product looking exceptional. We would recommend Katamount without hesitation. P.S. We originally hired them about two years ago for our bathroom renovation. I would post photos of it too, but unfortunately I made a questionable paint color decision that I must now live with until the end of time. The craftsmanship, however? Flawless.

I've been a customer of Wilber's for several years. Up till now I've always found them to be…read morereasonable in price, professional, reliable and trustworthy. I don't know what's happened but, they are no longer the company they used to be. I recently hired Wilbers to repair a loose newel post at the bottom of my stairs. When Danny the estimator came he explained that it might be an easy fix or more involved if they needed to install a new 4X4 interior post. Though I requested that he provide estimates for both scenarios he only sent the estimate for the worst case scenario. I let that go because I trusted that they would do the right thing should it prove to be an easy fix. When they arrived it turned out that all that was needed was to replace the wooden board in the basement with a 2 ft. 2x4 and tighten the bolt that runs inside the post. The workers were here for 1 hour and for this Wilber's decided that a fair price was $820. It seemed absolutely outrageous to me that they would charge me $820 to tighten a bolt so I tried reaching out to Wilber 3 times and asked that he call me back to discuss. Well he never called me back. I can only assume that he knows full well that he did is wrong and is unable to justify his outrageous pricing. It's sad that Wilber thinks this is how you should treat a loyal customer and it's certainly disappointing to discover what an unprofessional and unethical person he is. I certainly will never utilize the services of Wilbers ever again and I would caution anyone thinking of hiring them to think twice. Wilber is a man that lacks integrity and therefore someone you cannot trust to do business with.
