They had a beautiful paint selection area and lots of little things like screwdrivers, axes, things like that. Anyway, the two people working there yesterday were very friendly and, if I lived nearby, I would probably try this place before I went to Home Depot or Lowe's since I prefer to spend money with "the little guy" rather than the big corporations. We have spent an extraordinary amount of money in both of these stores. We rarely need to make returns, but we just had a recent instance of having to return 5 bags of polymeric sand because we decided to have the job done by a contractor. I saved the receipt and my husband went to the store to return the sand. It was a VERY UNPLEASANT experience to learn that there is a 90 day window on returns (with receipt) and NO EXCEPTIONS ARE GRANTED FOR A RESELLABLE ITEM such as polymeric sand! Needless to say, we have made our LAST purchase at Lowes and I will be sharing this VERY NEGATIVE experience EVERYWHERE I can.

An employee, we will call him "H" is assisting another customer. I stand nearby, never greeted or even noticed. I eventually say excuse me is there another employee in this department that can help me, "H" says, "yeah, he's around here somewhere" rather than him calling the other employee, I have to go on a damn scavenger hunt. The hunt turns up nothing. I return to the counter where "H" is still assisting the other customer who is now on the phone contemplating whatever purchase they are considering. I say to "H" can you call the other employee? He says, yeah... Like really? You could have done that all along? humph.. The other employee replies to the call after "H'" says there is a woman here needing help. The other employee replies, "Yeah, in a minute" Wow!! I wait around for a few more minutes, never to meet the other employee, I eventually say to "H" whelp Home Depot gets my money; "H" replies "okay, bye" I then go to the front desk to ask for the manager, giving a snippet of my experience today to the employee at the counter. A manager is called but again after a few minutes of waiting never comes up. I tell the employee at the counter, thanks and please let your manager know that they can read the review here, just like the rest of you. @Lowes-train your people @Lowes-poor customer service is not acceptable

Block is definitely a premium service with a premium cost but they delivered on time, without hassle with a great product. The designer, Ryan and contractor, Mladen were really amazing and made the process painless. We are very happy with the outcome and if we were in a similar situation would definitely use them again. Some additional info, we have a 130 year old home with plenty of hidden fun behind the walls that needed remedying on top of the agreed upon work. The contractor and the team at Block updated the scope and the work was done with no problems. Overall, very happy with the work.

You responded prior to realizing the contractor was not coming back or giving you any financials , but now that you need to do something to make it right, no response. Work that was done needs to be redone. And everything else needs to be completed. They left equipment here. Most offensive is their toilet in my living room. I'm out tens of thousands of dollars and it still needs to get done. No other contractor will touch it. The liability of what my contractor closed up in the walls, is something no one will take on. Fix this, it is exactly what you preach about Block Protections !

I was never explained anything via email. I merely sent an email and I guess they sent it to the fabricator. They need to get their facts straight before responding that I visited their store. The quote also did not say whether it included a backsplash or without a backsplash no details whatsoever except the price of 8500+ for a small kitchen. They should know who they're sending these to and review them before sending quotes out. I don't I'm paying a little more for things but 2 1/2 times the price is absurd.

After several more days of trying to get information, I finally spoke with Daniella, who informed me that they didn't even have the stone yet. The installation day was just as frustrating. I was given an arrival window, but the installers never showed up during that time. No one called to let me know they were running late. I had to contact the office multiple times, and each time I was told an even longer wait time. Ultimately, the installers arrived nearly two hours after the scheduled arrival window had ended. During the sales process, they advertise that installation includes a "free new sink." What was never disclosed to me was that I would need to hire a plumber separately to make the sink usable. Additionally, Daniella admitted she forgot to send me the installation paperwork, which included important instructions on how to prepare for installation and what to do afterward. Customers should not have to discover critical information only after the fact because staff failed to provide the required documentation. What is most disappointing is that this company came highly recommended by members of my family. Unfortunately, the experience I received was marked by poor communication, broken promises, missed deadlines, lack of follow-through, and a complete absence of proactive customer service. Once the deposit was collected, I felt like getting accurate information or even a return phone call became a constant struggle. There are plenty of companies that value their customers' time and communicate honestly throughout the process. Based on my experience, I would strongly encourage anyone considering Tri-State to look elsewhere.
