As you know a 5 gallon bucket of paint is quite heavy. I went to return 1 gallon and I could not find parking in front and there was no way I was getting it in my self from parking elsewhere. Called the store and they told me that they have a parking lot in the back and told me exactly how to get there off of Personette. 15 years I've been coming here and I have never known they had a lot in the back so a good FYI for everybody to know. I get there and the gentleman was waiting out back for me with a cart. I can never say enough good things about this store. They are always very helpful and they always go out of their way and this is why you should always shop local especially for paint at Paintland!!!

It's obvious that the selection isn't going to be as vast here as it is at the nearby Home Depot or…read moreLowe's. The building is smaller, so they can't carry as many items. But despite the small size, every time I have gone in to Hoffman's, I have found exactly what I needed, and at a fair price - sometimes a few pennies more than the big box stores, and sometimes a few pennies less. The real differentiator is that when you walk into Hoffman's, you are greeted by someone who asks you how they can HELP you, and then they will help you find everything you were looking for, very quickly and professionally. Over the past 2 years, I have probably interacted at least once with each of the people who work there (and it has been pretty much all the same people working at the store the whole time), and every time I have gone in, I have had a pleasant and positive experience. One time I asked for something obscure that I didn't expect them to have, but I took a chance. They didn't have it, but the guy told me exactly where I could go to find it, and it turned out he was right. I think it's great that we have the option to give a local retailer our business instead of a national or international conglomerate. So I have made it my policy to check Hoffman's first before thinking about going to the big warehouses where you can walk around for an hour looking for something and not a single person will approach you and ask if you need help.

I am pleased with the knowledge and service at Hoffmans. They always have quality plants.

He was very professional, installed the flooring and gave very useful advice for cleaning and care. Dugs Rugs is a wonderful local, family run business that still understands the needs of today's consumer.
