We had Olger give us a quote to paint the living room, dining room and kitchen. Olger understood that the walls in our home needed special care before being painted. The dining room wallpaper had to be removed, and underneath it, the plaster was cracked, buckled and peeling. All our concerns were met by Olgers promise to take care of it and make it right. I have posted some pictures to show the hard work his team did in pur home. They were here a week, the wallpaper was peeled, walls scraped, washed, sanded and skim coated before they painted. They moved all the furniture and covered all the floors before they started the work. I am very impressed by there attention to detail and the daily cleanup at the end of the day. They swept up and carefully put their tools and paint away. Please note: Olger Fallas also provided the paint and supplies, I did not have to run to the store for anything. I must also mention that now I have the kitchen the way I always wanted it, nice, bright and well done. The previous contractor did an awful job. Olger Fallas painted our basement, built our pantry, painted our kids room and even laid flooring in our house, so when it came time to get the exterior done, we knew who to call and it was a good choice. I first used Olger Fallas and his team to paint the interior of my newly purchased home in Millburn several years ago. I remember giving them such a tight deadline because my family had to move in by a certain date. I was very impressed with the quality of their work given the tight deadline that when I had the funds to finally renovate my kitchen, I made sure to call Olger for an estimate. After getting estimates and proposals from several contractors, I trusted my gut and went with Olger! I'm surely glad I did! Olger is a mild mannered man and is very easy to work with. He handled all aspects of the renovation including getting the permit and scheduling the inspections. He has a large team of people with expertise, not only in patching and painting, but also in carpentry, tiling and plumbing. Jonah was the contractor assigned to me and he and his team did excellent work and were attentive to what I wanted done. They had to take down walls because I wanted an open concept. I also liked that they disposed of all the debris from the construction themselves and I didn't have to worry about renting a dumpster. For electrical work, Olger used Hi-Tech Electric, and Bill and his team did a wonderful job installing the pendant and recessed lighting, tv and additional outlets. Indoor and outdoor painting job was done fine until I realized the doorbell was painted over. When they had their electrician try to fix it, he screwed up the doorbell even more. I had a pet gate that they put back backwards, so that it couldn't be opened. Careless beyond belief. I removed the gate (a spring gate) and paint chips fell. Overall, i believe they do not show pride in their work and don't care about fixing their mistakes once you pay them. read more

The workers from Olger Fallas painting, pulled up to the dumpster next to my house, rolled down their window, dropped the trash next to the dumpster (instead of in the dumpster), left the trash in the middle of the street, started laughing and drove away. They clearly do not respect the communities they paint in. read more

I had Olger Fallas do a fairly large job for me last year; drywall, paint and molding in a newly refinished attic. I was impressed not only with the amount of time they put into the job but also with the way Olger responded to issues and problems. For example, at the end of the job I noticed some issues with a few of the drywall seams. Olger came over personally, examined the work, agreed that it wasn't good enough and completely re-did the entire section. When I say "completely re-did" I mean he had his team redo the seams, prime and paint the entire wall section (and since this was an attic, it was probably 1/3 of the original job). When his team left the place looked great! I really appreciated Olger's response and his attitude. It's a pleasure to work with a real professional... and on a related note, we're thrilled that we can now use the attic to relax and watch television!
