I kept calling because there were unresolved issues and some things were not correct with the final product. They were supposed to fix them. No one called me back. I now have to find someone else on my own and pay extra money to fix their issues and their mistakes. This is totally outrageous. Undoubtedly this company only cares for money; also shown by incredibly cheap, labor to save costs. Stay away. You will regret dealing with them. They are not worth the aggravation. The process from getting rid of the damaged areas, demolition and to the renovation were consistent, efficient and done with quality work in mind. His staff/workers were very respectful, friendly and really knowledgeable on their craft. Special mention to Steve, the project manager! And to Matt and Jason , plus the painter and the tiler that are so meticulous with their work! And the good thing to point out is that Michael will work with your budget, your design ideas and input and will also give you suggestions/pros/cons that will help you decide on design plan, materials and products to be used on your project. The ability to have that kind of communication between you and the contractor is important to make the project a success. It was definitely a big project on the house but it's all worth it. The bathroom faucet work resulted in a leaking sink, deep gouges in the vanity around both faucets, and metal shavings scattered throughout the bathroom--a particularly concerning issue in a bathroom used by my children. Mr. Handyman offered a $250 refund and agreed to correct the workmanship issues. Although the repairs were eventually completed, they subsequently changed the refund offer to store credit only. Since the experience left me unwilling to use their services again, store credit was not an acceptable resolution. I also left voicemail and text messages in an attempt to resolve the matter, but received no response. That lack of communication ultimately prompted me to share my experience here. Beyond the cost and quality of the original work, the necessary repairs and remediation required me to take four days off from work to address the problems. The additional time, inconvenience, and disruption to my family's routine further compounded an already frustrating experience. My dissatisfaction is not simply about the original workmanship issues, but also about the additional burden of correcting those issues and the change in the company's proposed resolution. I believe these factors should be taken into account when evaluating the overall experience and the appropriateness of the company's response.
