Pedro came almost immediately when asked to make the repair. The material was an old style Formica that we had previously had repainted and he was able to repair the hole so that you would NEVER know there had been a hole there at all. He and his carpenter Marcio were knowledgeable and very helpful to help us design on the spot exactly how to fix what the previous homeowner had neglected. They were FAST without sacrificing quality. Every night they cleaned up and left the place accessible. We later had his team come paint everything as well; we could never paint ourselves our cathedral ceiling living room and could not be happier with the outcome. They did tons of prep work to prepare everything so that no mistakes were painted over but truly updated. He also met my need to get the work done as soon as possible. In fact, after telling me that there was a two-month waiting list, once I approved the estimate, they showed up to begin the job just two days later. Not sure how that happened, but I'm not complaining. Steven, the job foreman, was very professional and highly skilled, notwithstanding his youth. Why do people I meet keep getting younger? He is a perfectionist, a virtue which you rarely encounter with home contractors. He even helped guide me with the color selection. I threw him a few curve balls during the job, and he did everything I asked him to do with a smile. He and his crew were on time every day, and were all polite, neat, and hard-working. They are acrobats on high ladders, and barely dripped a drop of paint where it didn't belong. The finished job looks great, and exceeded my expectations. It is also worth mentioning that Wilber's guarantees the durability of the paint job for three years. All the others who bid offered a two year guarantee.
