As I stated This company was hired by our General contractor to renovate my home in Kinnelon. This is 100% the correct vendor hired by the GC. While Leo seemed attentive and we felt comfortable when we met him when he gave the quote and again when we told the GC all the mistakes. It was a terrible mistake to use his company. We were horrified at the lack of quality and we felt his employees try to get away with not doing the most basic things. We had paint drips on brand new trim and doors and new sections of new walls were wavy I could go on and on. They did come back several times and made many corrections, again the employees try to get away with stuff and hope you don't see it. The last day they were here I pointed out an a wall that had a crack in the Sheetrock in one room the supervisor told me we tried to fix it twice. He clearly had intended not to fix it, eventually we gave up and hired another contractor to correct the mistakes and we spent $2000 to correct the mistakes. I would never hire or recommend them. read more

I shot Jordan Painting a message to request a quote. Leo was able to come by same day since he was in the area. They were the cheapest of the 3 quotes we got. He was incredibly thorough during our walk through (even took his shoes off at the door), answering my questions and giving me his suggestions. The project took two days, the first day a crew of 3 and the next a crew of 2. They were on time both days, covered up absolutely everything, and cleaned up when they were finished. I needed painters to do an insurance job. Basically I had got a delivery and the walls in my stairway was damaged plus a little extra like trim and ceiling . I called for a quotes here and 2 others companies . Now to be fair I contacted one company that I had done my whole house. But their workmanship has gone down. Out of all the companies Jordan Painting was the highest and I mean higher. The lowest of course was the company I've been working with. But since I thought I had a good vibe with the guy that came to my house I was gonna pick them. Long story short I call them and they said they can beat the price. But they never got back to me. I called them again, a days later same thing. I called a week later, they told me the same thing. So now I told them I text them that I going post a review and all of sudden I get a response. But I guest they got offended and now all of a sudden they not only can't go lower as they promised, but they only knock of a little. To me that's childish and I'm not chasing them to give them my hard earned money. They are many more companies out there! read more

There's the saying "You get what you pay for." And while this is usually true in most situations (cheap price = cheap results), this was NOT the case with Jordan Painting! Leo did an AMAAAAAZING job staining our wooden door! And get this, he did it at a VERY affordable price that was MUCH lower than everyone else in NJ! Prior to contacting Leo, we searched around for estimates and it got to the point where we were not going to do it anymore because it was so expensive. Then, we found Leo, saw his reviews, and he gave us an amazing price! It was a two day job because you have to let the paint dry, but in the end Leo did an amazing job! Our door now looks brand new and it looks like it upped the value of our house by $50k lol. It looked like a regular faded wooden door before, but now it looks very luxurious. Leo was also a great person to deal with! He did not at all pressure us with anything and was always very honest and respectful. More Details: I contacted Leo (owner) of Jordan Painting to repaint my 3,000 sqft, 3 floor house that I recently purchased but haven't moved in yet. Leo was professional, responsive and showed up for our initial walkthrough on time on a Tuesday to discuss what needed to be done. His prices were very reasonable and his crew began work the very next day on a Wednesday. Because we had movers scheduled for that following Monday. Leo and his crew rose up to the challenge and worked from 8 in the morning until 11pm at night and finished what should've been a 1 week job in 3 days time without additional cost. Afterwards certain parts of within my walls had issues where the nail head in my sheetrock was loose creating "nail pops" against the paint. Leo himself came out, drilled open holes and moved the nails and repainted and refinished all the bad sections again over a 2 day period. Excellent follow up in resolving an issue that was not his to begin with. My walls look excellent now. Because of his high quality work as well as responsibility and ownership I immediately hired him as well to refinish and restain my outdoor deck. His crew showed up early and got it all done to perfection. I cannot highly recommend Jordan Painting enough. read more

I was contacted immediately by Leo after putting in my request. He asked for some photos and gave me a competitive price. He was able to schedule me the next week. David came on painting day and went over the job with me. I was having walls painted in my living room, entry foyer, dining room, hallway, and all the ceilings. Upon my walkthrough with David he noticed ceiling areas in kitchen that were never properly patched so we discussed added that to my project. The team was done in two days!! Cracks, bumps, holes all perfectly fixed. The team cleaned up beautifully and I could not find a single flaw in their work. We had relied on Yelp reviews for this choice in painting contractor. The reviews made the choice seem easy enough. We met with Leo (the owner), to which we described the work we wanted. Leo pushed an up sell of a repaint of the entire houses walls, ceilings, baseboards and he would spackle all the holes in the walls as we have just purchased the home and wanted it done properly before we moved in. We agreed to the upsell in work and he had advised it would take 10 days. While Leo was with us, I had been removing things off the wall that I did not want on the wall and he stopped me and advised me it wouldn't be necessary, as he would remove everything. Within a day or two he said he would be done within 4 days of his start. On day 3 I came by to see how it was going. Nothing on the walls were removed besides about 80% of the electrical plate covers. After he said he had completed his work, it was a month of 7 return visits. I'm convinced Leo was at my house once during this entire endeavor, and had his help perform all the work. Every step of attempt at rectifying problems needs to be standing over their shoulder. I think the worst part is you can't find every single issue all in one sitting, you notice them over time. From lazy sanding, to avoiding painting places that won't be seen, the only goal this company seems to have is to get you to stop complaining. Unfortunately I'm stubborn and never stopped, I conceded to this situation and I decided to make it a life lesson as the response was always "that will was not agreed upon" or "that will cost extra". After the 7 return visits I lost my patience and decided to tell him to not return and that I would handle these issues elsewhere. During our last conversation I had asked if he stood behind his work and his men, and would say they are proud of this work - to which he responded yes. As a professional he should of found these issues himself and done it correct the first time, instead of waiting for me to call complain about each individual find and covering up each problem with a bandaid attempt. Attached are the pictures with the attention for detail this company provides. If you have any type of handy skills, you could do the same quality work. I hope this review helps someone from being taken advantage of. Unfortunately there are still things I'm finding, so the pictures are not complete. read more

My sister and I met with Leo after my father passed away in order to get a price on painting the interior of his home to prepare it for sale. Painting included filling in nail pops, spackle and tape cracks, Paint trim, doors, walls, and ceilings. We went over everything, and there were a lot of nail holes through the years from my father putting things up. Leo gave us a price that far I thought was more than reasonable. Considering other prices were 2 1/2 times more expensive than what Leo gave us. The crew spent a week spackling and sanding and painting. The bedrooms came out like they were brand new sheet rock walls. There were a lot of holes to fill and a lot of work to do in those bedrooms and I can't believe how good they looked. After the crew was done in the living room, and done for good, at night time, we noticed some imperfections in the wall that were overlooked or missed. We contacted either Leo or Louis who had the painter, Danny come back without any issue and redo the wall that had some visible imperfections. The imperfections could only be seen at night, so it was no fault of anybody's that they missed them. Leo was absolutely fantastic. He wallpapered a HUGE staircase wall for us and it came out absolutely beautiful. The paper is printed so it required a lot of print matching - the wall took him the entire day but he he did it with patience and incredible skill. His team also painted two accent walls for us in the house and I have never seen such clean lines before. Needless to say my husband and I were very impressed with Leo's work and professionalism.
