The quote was around the middle of the ones I saw, and I got a good vibe from Michael, so I decided to go with them. I'm incredibly happy with the work they did - they matched the existing features (trim, door style etc) of the house perfectly. They had good ideas and brought up things to consider, and additional costs for any changes along the way were reasonable. The guys who worked at my house were incredibly friendly and polite. The work turned out amazing - better than I had even hoped. Can't recommend them enough and will definitely go back to them for any similar work in the future.

He arrived exactly on time. He was well prepared, had the necessary parts and tools, and did the job like a professional; even using a level to ensure everything was straight. After the job, he tested everything and gave some suggestions on what to do to avoid similar issues. Pat Cassio and his team are the epitome of professionalism. I've been looking for a reliable,…read moreskilled, trusted, reasonably priced contractor/carpenter for years and mostly had only negative experiences. From the moment I spoke with Pat he impressed me. He's honest, candid, easy going, and personable. Just a solid gentlemen who accomplishes his job efficiently, effectively, and with pride. His team of three showed up on time (actually they arrived early and waited in their trucks until our appt time which was so refreshing), measured my ceiling to install my new attic stairs, then purchased them and installed them in less than a couple of hours. I called a half dozen or so "so called pros" who quoted me an astronomical price for only two workers and then didn't return my calls to schedule an appt; one contractor never showed up for our scheduled appt. I can only reasonably believe that the job was too small and when offered a bigger, better paying job, they blew me off. Well not Pat & his team. I can't say enough positive things about Cassio Pros in Rahway. Their expert skills, extensive clean-up, and phenomenal pricing (reasonable pricing genuinely reflects that these gents are trying to make a living and not a killing) will have me ONLY turning to Pat and his team at Cassio Pros for any work I need accomplished in the future. Thank you Pat & team for your OUTSTANDING work...you've renewed my faith in contractors! Sincerely, Ruth C

In the midst of putting up the first painting, he literally packed up his tool bag and left after I kindly requested him to move the positioning a quarter inch to the right since it wasn't centered on the wall. Literally no conversation at all except, "I don't want to do this job." When I called the main number, the dispatcher apologized for the worker's behavior and offered an alternative handy person to stop by 2 days later. I was literally left speechless by this level of unprofessionalism - especially when the person is being paid by the hour and not a flat fee. Appreciate that the dispatcher took responsibility and was apologetic, and not defensive at all. However, having planned for more than a week and having moved work commitments for this, it's not acceptable.
