Do NOT buy from Reliance in Kenilworth. Picked out two granite slabs that were tagged for me. Returned a few days later to confirm slabs. Paid for slabs within the week and had shipped to a Fabricator. Months later during kitchen renovation, went to Fabricator to look at laying out the granite... they were not the same slabs I had chosen. Only one was correct; the other was... 'whatever' they decided to send. Went directly to Reliance from Fabricator to inform them of the error and their response was, "Oh well, pick another granite." Of course, the lot of granite needed and the piece I chose were long gone. While looking for new granite at a different granite yard, I explained what had happened and the response was, "Did you buy from Reliance?" Clearly, their reputation in this industry is well know. read more

Do not by from Reliance. I've purchased my quartz from them only 7 months ago and it is deteriorating and stains. There are so many chips in this stone and they told me that it would never chip or crack and that it was harder than granite. Prior to this stone I had granite for 20 years and it held up beautifully. No cracks or chips. I'm very disappointed it this purchase. It's not less expensive. The showroom quoted me one price but after I made my down payment and they measured the price increased by $2000. I spent a total of $10,000 on this material which is not going to hold up and the company does not stand behind there work. They are not reliable. They ignore your phone calls. If I can rate them a 0 I would. I'm interested to know if anyone has taken legal action what were the results. read more

As an FYI, I'm taking legal action against reliance stone. They need -100000000 stars. I purchased a slab from them and within one day it began to change color. I've contacted many reviewers who've reported the same issue and we're all filing a joint suit. It's a complete SCAM! You pay $2000 to have something installed only to throw it in the garbage weeks later!! An absolute ridiculous scam and I will NOT rest until they recognize their wrong-doing. I've called them about 50x only to get the runaround each time. They are NOT an honest business they do NOT care about their customers and I WILL get them to see their faults. We needed a very large size slab of granite and our salesman was extremely helpful and spoke to our fabricator many times to make sure we had the right piece. He took his time and made us feel comfortable with our choice. We drove a long way to the showroom but it was well worth it! John read more

We purchased slabs from this vendor, fabricated them and installed them. Within a week customer called saying that their material had changes in color in places. Emailed them several times requesting rep go to clients house to see material. Have not received a reply after 3 emails. Their quartz material is unreliable and we have had other fabricators complain and have been forced to remove material. Do not buy Quartz from them. read more

The name of this company is a misnomer. They are in fact a very unreliable company. The granite that I selected at their stone yard was not the granite that was installed on my kitchen counters. Reliance initially admitted their mistake when I showed them a sample of what I received, but whenever I called to follow up with them they wouldn't accept the calls and never returned any of my phone, e-mail and fax messages. My contractor, after many attempts, was eventually able to get through to them but they changed their story and simply denied making the mistake. When the two of us made appointments with Reliance for a conference call to discuss the situation, they broke every one of those appointments and so it's been impossible to resolve the problem. We were in the middle of the renovation project when this occurred and so I have not been able to use the kitchen for over a month while I've been waiting for them to respond in some way. read more
