If I could give 0 stars I would. I understand the challenges of COVID on businesses. However, when a customer pays their bill on time, their delivery should be on time. This year (2021) my deliveries have consistently been late. This last delivery, it's now been a full week without my water. No calls, no emails no texts to explain what is going on. Try calling customer service? THERE IS NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. I waited for 90 minutes on the phone, and still no answer. During business hours. Their recorded message talks about how they listen to their customers. NOT. I can't cancel my serivce because I can't get through. i can't delete my credit card from the website. What a Nightmare. 1 Star across the board does not surprise me. The people who gave them 5 I'm convinced work there. THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE. Just to name a few problems.... -They delivered too many bottles then charged us for the extras. -Their delivery was totally random and they never picked up our empties so we have a stack in our kitchen that we paid deposit on. -We cancelled our service after 2 months and continue to get charged. -We have called 3 times now to schedule a pick up for the cooler and they never show. They said... Oh our driver was there and called twice but couldn't leave a voicemail because it was full. UM NO! No call, no voicemail and my box is EMPTY. - -3 weeks after cancellation, 3 schedule pick up fails, and wasted dollars later, I still sit here with an unused cooler and a stack of empty bottles. Total Bullshit. Don't sign up.. Buy a Brita dispenser and fill it yourself. It will save you $40 a month of odd end fees and a MAJOR headache. read more

I was really excited to get services started. The offer was brought to my attention as part of a special event at Costco. The services are set up under your Costco account, so it makes it easier to find your customer information when you have to call the delivery company. Our delivery driver gave me his personal cell phone in case we needed anything right after we got services set up. I wound up using the drivers number asking for a text once the first delivery was completed. This review reflects the customer service you get when you have to call the delivery company itself. **UPDATE** The new rating was given as a result of what the owner did. Customer service still needs improvement. We had a crack in the very last bottle during one of our deliveries not that long after we started services. This bottle leaked & caused water to get everywhere (including on my carpet). Due to this problem, I decided to cancel services. I called the company explaining what happened & telling them that I was canceling services. Customer service did not offer any credit or other resolutions to my cracked bottle. The owner did see this problem listed on my review & issued a credit for the cracked bottle. However, dealing with customer service about this was very difficult- #1. They told me that my last bill was supposed to be sent to me by email Friday, but didn't arrive until Saturday. #2. They had difficulty finding the credits & explaining the last bill. read more

I was not impressed by there door-to-door sales tactic. They are not welcome into the Running Horse @ Arrowhead community. They seemed shady with starting the conversation "Did you receive a free jug of water yesterday at your door-step?" Reply: "What? No." - "Oh, well have you heard of Sparkletts Water?" Reply: No. - "Well do you buy water.." and this goes into their sales pitch about how it's just $6 for a jug water and now seeing a post review below regarding "they keep dropping water off... and charging", well it's quickly realized how much of scam this company is. I even politely asked for a business card and they were unable to provide one. That's a great tactic to stay anonymous and continue scamming unexpected individuals at their houses. I am one of many vendors that delivers products to St. Joseph's hospital and recently a new driver has been delivering water. Every time I see this vehicle it is taking up two bays while numerous other vendors as well as my self are waiting to use a bay. The sparkletts driver constantly places his products along the edge of the two bays preventing anyone else from using them. On top of the previously mentioned issues, the vehicle and product are in this position for hours. This happens every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday every week. This is another time when I wish there was a minus star option. Please believe the negative reviews, this is a horrible company to deal with. I placed an initial order online, provided my CC information to pay the invoice which included the cost of my first order, and a bottle deposit. That is all that showed on the invoice. Then I realized I hadn't checked any reviews. After coming here to my trusty Yelp account to read reviews, I decided it was not a trustworthy company, so I called to cancel. I had to call, because although they can take your money online, they cannot cancel online. Nice and convenient for them. The hold message touted their wonderful customer service and thanked me for holding (for two minutes shy of one hour. One hour!!) The explanation was that they have been having technical difficulties on the phone line for a few days, and I just happened to be the lucky person who was on the line when it was fixed. I don't believe any of that, but if were true, why didn't they put that information on their hold message and spare customers the insult of such a long hold time? I now find that they put a $50 hold on my CC without my knowledge or permission, and supposedly ran a credit check, although I did not authorize one or provide my SS number so they could do so. I would never apply for credit to get water, that's ridiculous. They say it could take up to 30 days for me to see my refund. I am wondering if they just hope that by then I will have forgotten all about it and there's a nice little bonus for them. How does a company like this stay in business? It's a mystery to me, but I am happy to do anything I can to help send them out of business. This is simply and unconscionable way to do business. Stay away if you value your sanity. read more

As of this morning my account was reinstated, I was sent a sincere apology along with a statement that I was up to date in my payments. The absolute worst bottled water company around! Do not, do NOT buy from them! After they continued to increase the price on water bottles without telling me, I had to cancel autopay and pay monthly which is a hassle. They continued to try to do the same thing, forcing me to call and straighten out my bill each month. Growing tired of the hassle and not wanting to pay the outrageous price of $8.79/bottle I called to cancel my account today. They offered me a slightly lower price per bottle to try to keep me as a customer and I declined. $8.29 is still ridiculous. So my final bill is still $8.79/bottle rather than the lower price they just quoted me. Worst business ethic, worse than the cable company! Today, I was supposed to have my monthly water delivery. I got a phone call and an email telling me my delivery would be today. I got another email telling me that my water had been delivered. I went to check and all my empty bottles were picked up and no water was delivered. I called customer service who called the local branch. CSR told me that the production line for the 3-gallon bottles was broken (and had been for a few days) and the technician failed to show up. CSR apologized and was very kind. I am furious with this company. They should have notified me in advance that there was no water to be delivered and should not have sent me a notification that there was a problem. They had a similar problem 2 months ago - but at least they notified me in advance. I went to the 3-gallon bottles because the 5- gallon bottles were too heavy for me. Now I have to make an emergency run to get water since I am all out. They continue to jack the price up on delivery fees. You would think that they would at least invest in proper equipment or hire a reputable repair technician agency to keep their equipment in working order. I have been their customer for 34 years and unfortunately, unless I install my own water purification system, I am at their mercy. I would not even give them one star! The route sales person is slimmy and dishonest. I asked him several times if he could reduce our water plan from 5 bottles to two bottle per month. He kept saying it was not possible. I finally talked with another business about their water plan and they advised me that Sparkletts has a three a month plan. I called the corporate office and wow they do. So, why did the route sales guy keep lying to me? If they would have just been honest instead of trying to make a quick buck.. I live in Phoenix, AZ, and if I could give this company a ZERO rating I would. The accounting and customer service is the worst I have ever experienced. They miss deliver and or deliver more than you asked for. Customer service over the phone is horrible largely due to the wait time, which may have something to do with the poor service in general. My next complaint will be to COSTCO where I signed up. My question for them is why would they partner with a business that has such a low level of customer satisfaction? If you want Sparklettes water, just go to Walmart. They are their biggest retailer. At least that is what one of the drivers told me. At any rate I would NOT do business with this company. read more

This is the first review I've written. I feel the need to let people know how terrible and incompetent this service is. Wait time to talk to someone once you are a customer - 15min but usually 25min. Today I had to wait 45 minutes. Called back and this time I pressed 1 for "new customer". Someone answered within 20 seconds but then transferred me and I had to wait again as soon as I let them know I was a current customer. Every single water delivery was wrong. Either on the wrong scheduled drop off date, the wrong amount of water, they didn't pick up the previous empty jugs, or they charged me incorrectly. I had to buy water many times in between drop offs because they never delivered on time. I talked to customer service a minimum of 8 times. They are always rude, you always have to wait on hold for a long time, and then they still screw up your order. Service cancelled. read more

If I could put LESS than one star I certainly would have. I have the same problems as everyone else. I couldn't get anyone on the line. I called three times with wait times of 45 min or more. I finally hung up the first time. When the girl finally answered the second call, she hung up on me. The third time when the guy finally answered, he transfered me and I finally hung up after 32 minutes. (I had waiting 26 minutes for him to answer in the first place.) I am moving and was going to have the service transferred to my new residence, but after this TERRIBLE customer service experience, I am canceling my service. They continue to change delivery dates, we got our regular delivery last time, twice in the same day, so we called and they said they would just skip the next delivery which they did, but then we got our regular delivery on Thursday, them on Monday we got an email that our delivery was scheduled for Monday, we called and they said it could not be changed, so they just canceled our next delivery, then on Monday we got a very late delivery of only one bottle. Very unhappy with the customer service at Sparkletts up until this last month we have had no issues once when the cooler went bad they brought a new one out within 2 days this time our cooler has been out for over two weeks they have set up for different days they said they were going to come replace the cooler and no one has showed up the water comes out warmer than room temperature on the cold side and doesn't taste very good. I tried Sparkletts at my office for one month. When I got the bill, it was higher than what the rep said so I called to cancel. They told me that I would receive a final bill after they picked up my equipment, and that I would owe about $16 when I got my deposits back. I did not ever receive the corrected bill but got sent to collections instead. Sparkletts is claiming I owe them $100+ now. This is a pretty horrible way to treat new customers. read more

I started with O Premium years ago. They were locally owned and had great service. I received a notice in August that my plan was being terminated. No info on new plan or options. All three number on the Sparkletts website connect to nothing... two rings and then fast busy. Have been trying to call them on and off for 3 weeks. Sent two email via their email submittal web page... nada. Finally got a chat window today. Nice person, but completely useless. Suggested I call the same phone numbers and send an email request. I've already been robbed some previous random amount that I paid just to avoid being on hold for an hour and these guys just want more. I will admit that after I placed my initial order with Sparkletts I came and read the reviews and was a little skeptical but after the initial delivery from Craig I felt better. He explained the process of delivery much more clearly than the website and was quite personable. I received my first invoice and was concerned because it was A. a little hard to read and B. it was much higher than I had anticipated with charges I was not aware of (bottle deposit) I made a mental note to contact CS to find out about it, but hadn't had a chance yet. Then two days ago I received a request for a survey on my service so far, I answered honestly that while I love the service I was concerned about my invoice and the hold time to get a hold of Customer Service. Today I received a call from Sparkletts management based on my survey responses and they walked me through the invoicing process and apologized for a slight mistake on the cooler rental price, saying they had already credited my account for the difference...They alleviated my concern on the extra charges explaining it was a one time bottle deposit fee for each of the bottles of water I ordered - but that it is only for the initial bill and will not be an ongoing charge....and they apologized for not making it clearer in the initial order breakdown admitting it is something they are working on being clearer about. He also mentioned that they are going through a slight technical issue while trying to move their call center, making for longer hold times right now. Overall, while initially skeptical - this ONE call from the company helped alleviate all my concerns with my water delivery service. GREAT customer service Sparklett's. read more

These guys constantly drop off extra water bottles and then bill you for them. Additionally, when I moved my office and shut down my account, they added fees to restock our extra bottles and rental cooler despite them saying we were square when I spoke with them on the phone. I have had the WORST experience EVER with this company. It was OK until I decided to cancel my water delivers because i was moving to a home that has a water filtration system. At that point, the driver never showed up to pick up my equipment on the day I scheduled. I rescheduled, and the same thing. He just didn't show up. Tried a third time to get him to pick up the stuff, had a two hour window scheduled and he called and told me i would have to wait until AFTER he was done with his route who included "customers who were still using their service" and were therefore more important than me. I took the equipment into the phoenix office instead of waiting, filed a complaint and the route manager called me. Told me they'd "take care of any remaining bill I had, because my experience was so awful" TWO MONTHS later I got a "past due" notice on my bill and now (as i am literally on the phone with them, on hold) the customer service lady is still trying to make me pay the bill. I am so fed up with this company. If you are thinking about getting water delivered, find another company. read more

My unit Number was left off the initial order and the call center was not able to add unit number until after the first delivery because of their "System" ( I called 3 times) The order was not then able to be delivered because there was NO #. We were very excited to start using Sparkletts for our customers, but the experience has been horrible! They never show up according to the schedule, they are awful at communicating with their customers, and we have caught them with overcharging us on a few different issues. We asked them to come pick up their equipment almost 2 months ago, since they couldn't show up to deliver water. They still have not picked up their equipment, but instead have shown up on different occasions when they are not supposed to be here, to drop off water when we are not available. So instead of picking up their equipment they have since charged our account almost $100. I am highly disappointed and do not recommend to anyone! read more

I was contracted with O'Premium which I loved the price, service and ability to quickly get in touch with someone for issues. When Sparkletts took over I had problems almost every week and eneded up having about 23 bottles of water at the house. I fulfilled my contracted time and when I tried rectify my over abundance of water they still billed me for the use of the cooler which was supposed to be mine after the original contract. Then they charged me a termination fee...wtf is that? The price of the same amount of water was about $20 more than when I first started with O'Premium. Dont use them is my suggestion read more

Just wow. Completely incompetent billing/accounting department. Informed me that my account has been locked because one of my checks bounced due to non-sufficient funds. Sent them the copy of the cashed check from my bank showing that it in fact cleared. Apparently that is not good enough and they keep insisting that the check bounced. Also delivered 5 gallon water bottle with a leak. Called to ask them to exchange it and was informed they will not be able to come back it until 2 weeks later. It's been two weeks and surprise, surprise, I still have the bottle with the leak. read more

Sad I called and started service, they sent a confirmation and set delivery date, problem came when that day came they never arrived, called three times cut off once my fault, hung up on after getting through the third time out me at 3:40 in the afternoon, they had rescheduled my delivery but did not email of call or even attempt to let me know on the inactive website. I'm going to have to brag and say I've been one of the lucky ones according to everything I've read. I've had Sparklett's for a year. My water is delivered timely and consistently with no issues of getting water I never ordered. However, I must say I've been thru 2 coolers but they've replaced both coolers within a couple of days that I reported it. My delivery driver is Travis, maybe that makes a huge difference. This last cooler that went out, Travis told me, was one of the bad ones, so he gave me a very nice, modern looking cooler that's supposed to be a lot better than the previous ones. When it's delivery day, All I do is leave my empties by the door and a sticky note with how many bottles I need. That's it. Thankfully Travis is good, Sparklett's needs to keep him, don't promote him, what if I get a krappy delivery driver???? :) read more

This service is awful - we signed up through Costco and at first it seemed like a great service + prices. We get our first delivery and all is good with the cooler and the water tasted good, we followed all set up steps properly and enjoyed our first 5 gal spring water no issue. I then added a $25 5 gal bottle of mountain valley spring water to be delivered...After drinking about 1/4 of the bottle no issue the machine was giving off this rancid plastic taste, and it was not the water since I tested out rom the 5 gal myself and it was totally fine. Cheap crap equipment that ruined my $25 worth of water and cancelled my services since with all the delivery fees and the extras it is just not worth it. Getting ahold of someone was like pulling teeth when I called in..long wait times and this whole sparkles experience was terrible. read more

One day, we needed more water so we called them and they informed us that we needed to call Sparkletts because they were delivering our water now. Wow, thanks for the heads up. Not! We called the toll free number provided to us. Disconnected. Did Google search and found official Sparkletts website. Easy. Called all numbers on the website. All disconnected or fax tones. Really? Used contact page on Sparkletts website to voice concerns. No response, ever. It's been a month now. The delivery guy did show up 2 weeks ago. We had 6 empty bottles outside. He took all of the empties and left us 2 bottles. Bless his heart. We drank that shit in 3 days. So after repeated trips to Circle K or Wallie World for water in 120 degree heat, screw this crap! I finally received a paper bill in the mail. I called the number on it and what do ya know, it worked! I canceled our account but the CS female was trying desperately to save me as a customer. I told her that I wanted Sparkletts to go pound sand. Come pick up your POS cooler and dust collecting bottles. We will fetch our water elsewhere. Good riddens to bad rubbish. Update: They showed up today to get their water cooler and bottles. The driver who showed up, rang our doorbell several times in quick succession, causing our dog to create quite a stir. He didn't give us time to get across the house to answer the door. He just rang it quickly one after the other. Then, when we opened the door, he was out at the street at his truck putting bottles up. He did not greet us, did not smile, did not declare who he was or where he was from. Just walked into our house and grabbed the water cooler, the whole time with a mean mug face. The little water drip catcher was full but he carried it out even after looking at it without emptying it first. Water got all over our floors and carpet. I was following him out to bid him farewell and he slammed my own door in my face without saying a word. This company is a real piece of shit and so are all of the employees we have encountered. And damn Arizona Bottled H2O for no heads up, no phone call, no email, no notice ... just shipped us off to Sparkletts which turned out to be a soul crushing experience. This company is horrid and I can't say enough negative about them. If you haven't signed up with them yet, I wouldn't recommend it. Or, you can sign up with them and roll the dice. Do not use this company! I signed up when it was O'Premium waters and signed a 36 month contact in 2004. DS waters "AKA" Sparkletts bought out O'Premium. 2010 I cancelled my water delivery. They charged me over $300 for a broken contract/equipment. Then placed on my credit 2 years later. Still fighting to get this off my credit and finally found my contract from 2004 with DS waters and collection agency took told me they would only take off $59.00. What a joke! This has been a nightmare. Do not use them. read more

We were originally customers with O Premium Water and then stayed when Sparklettes bought them out. We had an unlimited supply of water per month with O Premium and originally Sparklettes agreed to honor the same contract. Turns out they have been charging us all along for all the extra bottles and when I called to complain, they deny ever having said they would honor the original contract. They just barely stopped short of calling me a liar. My bad for not checking my statements more closely (we were on autopay), but shame on them for being such a shady company.
