We stopped using because it's gotten so expensive over the years. When I attempted to cancel my account, I was transferred to a different country and had to really peel my ears back to understand the gentleman on the phone. Amazingly they wanted to lower my price in half for 3 months and every time I said no the offer got better. After 5 tries to save me as a customer we were finally able to cancel the account. This left me with a bad perception of Primo, Sparklettes, whatever it is called now. Hidden fees kept creeping up. Head to a water exchange nearby instead. read more

Worst experience ever. I just started service with you, and when it came time to deliver my dispenser and water, the delivery was rescheduled without any notice. Now, after setting up recurring deliveries, my order was canceled last minute and rescheduled to a time and day that works for you--not for me. This has been extremely frustrating and inconvenient. They consistently just fail to shop on the delivery day, don't contact us to let us know they aren't coming, and when we call to inquire, they just tell us they don't have a driver available and we have to wait several days before they can make the overdue delivery. Extremely Poor Service & Cancellation Nightmare This company has been a headache from the start. When we first signed up, we were supposed to receive 4 bottles per delivery. Over time, the delivery drivers started leaving extra bottles without permission--meaning extra charges I never agreed to. Within a few months I somehow ended up with 6 bottles. I eventually canceled the delivery service completely, kept the fridge unit, and we refilled the bottles ourselves. Fast-forward to this month: we installed a home filtration system and I called on Nov. 14 to fully cancel the account and schedule a pickup. I was told cancellation would take 10 business days and the pickup date would be Nov. 24. Then on Nov. 17, someone randomly showed up to pick everything up with no call, no notice, nothing. We weren't home, so they took the 6 jugs but obviously couldn't access the cooler inside. Frustrating, but I called and was told it was "because they were in the area." Fine. I was still told the official pickup would be Nov. 24. Today, Nov. 24, I set the cooler out early on the patio to make sure they could grab it. By 1pm, no one had come by. I called again, and was told the driver "missed the pickup" or was running late--so the next pickup is now Dec. 1. Again, no call, no update, nothing. And when I asked about dropping it off myself, I was told it takes 24-48 hours just to put in the request... unreal. This entire process has been unprofessional, disorganized, and unnecessarily difficult. From being overcharged with unapproved extra bottles to the endless runaround just to return their own equipment, it has been one problem after another. I genuinely regret signing up with this company and will be sharing my experience so others know what they're getting into. No customer should have to fight this hard to simply cancel a service and return equipment. read more

This is the worst company ever! THEY WONT CANCEL MY ACCOUNT. I have been dealing with this for months and months. I have called at least 20 times. They keep transferring me and hanging up on me and wont give me my money back and wont cancel. They are holding me and money they overcharged me for hostage. I had to send a registered letter from the post office to them to cancel and even then they are still charging me. 10 - 20 more calls and still no resolution. They didn't pick up a cooler that sat outside for 3 weeks and finally did (after 4 more calls) and now they are charging me for two coolers and I don't have any. I don't have any water either. I would give them no stars. I had used them since it was sparkletts water and service was always the best. Once primo took over the service was the absolute worse! They were giving distilled water instead of spring water and after primo took over the spring water was more like tap/purified water. I also got repeated no shows with no contact of no shows. If I could give a review for 0 stars I would, I think I've only given one or two one-star yelp reviews in my 11 years on yelp. Sparkletts has been charging me for a cooler I don't have for over a year. And never had, they just decided to randomly start charging me for two coolers even though I only ever had one. Returned the one had multiple phone calls and emails back and forth confirming that I never had the extra cooler. Which they were only going to partially refund me for all the months they charged me extra. But instead here we are, my services have been cancelled for almost a year and I'm still getting notices about delinquent payments. AKA Primo Water, I have been frustrated with how often bottles don't get picked up or too many bottles are left to the point that I had 8 + bottles cluttering up my kitchen. I happened to be home today when the delivery guy (Steve) came so I made sure to go outside and chat so he would take the empties and leave the correct amount. He had indeed left 50 percent more than our order. I asked him to take back the extras and he proceeded to argue with me to the point where he was insulting me and accusing me of interrupting him. At one point he raised his voice saying "Excuse me!? Excuse me!?" If I could give zero stars, I would. Last month they claimed they were running behind and couldnt deliver on time. No problem, it happens. Then they said they delivered, but no one showed up and we still had 5 emptys? (we only get delivery once a month) After many calls and "escalated" requests of call backs from a manager we never got a single call back. We were told we would be credited the funds on our next delivery. The next delivery came and went and again we were charged but got no water. Now they are acting like they dont have any record of the previous calls? So either A. you dont record your calls or log them B. your driver is lying to you or C. you are lying that there is no record. Magically you now want to come pick up your empties and water cooler after NOT delivering 2 months in a row and yet charging for 2 months in a row. do not use this company. Primo (Sparkletts) might be the worst subscription I have. Their website is incredibly annoying to navigate. They don't take AMEX. You are in for an hour wait if you want to talk to someone about your account. They force you into e-billing and charge you $6.00 if you want regular mail, each invoice. Their invoices are infuriating to understand. They blow up my cell phone every Sunday the day before my delivery despite my several service tickets requesting that they do not call me. read more

We've been out of water for over a week now. Our delivery was originally scheduled for Thursday, July 24th, it's now August 1st and still no water. We've called Sparkletts every single day, and each time we're told the driver will "definitely be there today." That has never happened. Instead, they keep pushing the delivery to the next day without any explanation or resolution. Why isn't ZERO STARS an option? I could write you a novel about why you should not do business with this company. Unfortunately, they have a significant monopoly. There are many local water delivery companies that have better pricing and way better customer service. I started service with Sparkletts in late 2024, they did not have the product that I wanted in stock, but they never told me that so I waited months for my first order. Technically, I opened my account in November 2024 and did not receive my first delivery until January 2025. At that time I continue to check in with their customer service and they kept telling me my product was back in stock and then I would receive no delivery. My delivery person was also INSUFFERABLE. One time I put in a message to have him call me and I said to him that Customer Service had confirmed that my product was in stock, and I just wanted to confirm I was going to get a delivery. And he said to me that it wasn't in stock and I said, "Oh, ok They just told me it was in stock" and his response was "yeah well I actually work here!" Twice they told me someone was coming to set up my equipment I waited all day for them and no one ever came. Then one day I received a water delivery and I still had no equipment to actually dispense the water. Finally got my equipment set up and the only thing that they did during that period was credit me two bottles of water. I got consistent biweekly deliveries for about three months until the product was out of stock again and then I waited six weeks for it to come back into stock where they again continued to tell me that the product was available and it wasn't. At that point, I finally just canceled my service. Then on the day that they were supposed to come pick up my equipment, I was told that they would be at my house between 9 AM and 12 PM. One PM came. I called customer service and let them know nothing had been picked up, and they said that their records said that the machine had already been picked up. The customer service agent insisted repeatedly that the dispenser and empty bottle had been picked up while I was physically still looking at them in my home. They are an inadequate, unprofessional, and painful company to work with on every level. I have wasted hours of my life waiting on hold for Customer Service for them to simply apologize but never ever provide better service or actually solve any of the problems they create. It's incredible that even have a business. I'm happily switching to a local, family owned water distributor with glass bottles for a fraction of the price who treats my business like it actually matters to them. read more

My roommate and I have called Sparklettes almost every day to get our order and billing correct since opening an account with them. Thank goodness for speed dial. In fact I thought about just applying to work there so I could get the job done correctly. At one point I had 3 defected water dispensers and 8 water containers sitting in my tiny apartment (and I was still thirsty). I have used Sparklettes water delivery for several years in Arizona (North of Phoenix). They have always been consistent, timely, respectful of property, and they place the water bottles right where I need them placed. Any billing info, requests to add/remove bottles, change of delivery dates, comments, or support requests can be done through their easy to use online service. I have had only one incident in about 7 or so years, and that was an extra bottle that was delivered and charged to me (no biggie, because I was able to cancel the next delivery date online). My only request to make them a 5 star company would be to offer a service for the home dispensers the bottles fit in to. Mine is pretty old, and though I do my best to keep everything clean and cared for, it has started to drip a bit, and I am sure the water techs know how to adjust that better than I could. Other than this, great company, great water, and awesome drivers! read more

We had to cancel our service due to Sparkletts repeatedly canceling drop offs last minute or just not showing up at all with no communication. Now we're in water purgatory because they won't pick up their empty bottles or dispenser, even though they guaranteed us that they would pick everything up a week ago. We've tried calling, emailing, and chatting, with the result being nothing but empty promises, silence or reminders that we're actually still responsible for the safety of the equipment when they miss their guaranteed pickup window by multiple days because it's their "policy". Heed the multiple 1 star reviews. The only thing they are good at is auto-billing your account. We notified Sparkletts two weeks in advance of our move-out date to cancel service and schedule a cooler pick-up. The first pick-up was scheduled three days later with a wide 8 AM-5 PM window, but no one showed up. We called again and rescheduled, explaining the urgency of our move. Despite assurances that our account was "flagged" and the request escalated, no one came. This pattern repeated two more times. Each time, Sparkletts Customer Service acknowledged the urgency and claimed a pick-up was scheduled, but no one arrived. I made multiple follow-up calls, and every time, I was told a different pick-up date--none of which were honored. On our move-out day (Friday), I was told the pick-up was now scheduled for the following Monday. We were ultimately advised to pack and take the water cooler with us, which is both unreasonable and unacceptable. Throughout this ordeal, not a single Customer Service representative was able to reach anyone at the local Tempe/Phoenix branch. If I could give Sparkletts ZERO stars, I would. Their customer service and delivery is absolutely HORRIBLE. For over two weeks now, I have been promised my water would be delivered. I get email confirmations of this each day, the day passes, and no one calls or shows up. I have been calling for an update for a week and a half, and each time I call, their customer service tells me it will arrive the next day, they are backed up, blah blah blah. A couple of my neighbors use the same service and last week, they each got their water deliveries. The delivery driver STILL did not come to my house and he was RIGHT NEXT DOOR. After calling about this, I was promised again they'd get a message to the driver this time to be sure he put my house at the top of his list for deliveries. Guess what? It's been three days and still no sign of him, and when I called they said he could come pick up the empties tomorrow since I am closing my account. Sparkletts has paid oit water claim damages and still delivers constant broken bottles. Billing department customer serive is worthless. They cannot help you with billing problems. Every call goes to a route manager that never follows up. Forget about credits. Reps just dont care about fixing things. You can call 100 times asking to fix the same problem and 100 times it never gets resolved. Time to say good bye to a company i have had my entire lifetime. I'm so disappointed in Sparkletts. I've been a Sparkletts customer for a decade and never had any issues until the last few months. I'm not sure if it has to do with the Primo acquisition or what, but I cannot take it anymore. I've been without water for over 6 weeks now, although I have recurring orders set up for every two weeks. I've called 7-8 times and been told that my water will be delivered on a certain day, and I've even been placed on hold as the call rep contacts the local service delivery team to confirm. The water still has not arrived. On my second to last call, I pleaded with the rep to connect me with a leader to document my experience; that didn't happen either. My last call was my attempt to cancel my account because I cannot take the lies and poor service anymore. The call rep was kind, as they always have been, they confirmed a pick up date for my unit, which is a rental. That pick up date was more than a week ago and my unit is still here. I'm at a total loss now as I cannot even break up with this company efficiently and effectively. Alternatives are few as Primo Brands is acquiring everyone, including all of the legitimate spring water distributors. So my only option is to settle for water that I do not want just because I refuse to tolerate this going forward. My hope is that Primor Brands gets their stuff together at some point but for now it's goodbye. read more

Hidden updates within the invoice. They say they "email you changed about billing or prices" but I've had two price increases hidden in the invoice attachment. Not sent via email and no notification of a change. You can't send your notifications via email in an attachment... especially when you charge $6 per paper invoice if I wanted to get it mailed to me every 2 weeks! Literally putting a big billing update in the first page of an invoice, and then today sneaking in another price increase on the THIRD page of an invoice - literally changes the pages of invoices you put messages and not being transparent. I thought y'all were better than ReadyRefresh, but you're not. All scam artists. The only reason you get 2 stars out of 1 star is because even though you overdeliver and overcharge, you're still scamming me slightly less than ReadyRefresh - and that's not saying much read more

Who assured me I would not be billed further and the empty bottles would be picked on up 7/7 I hauled them all to the lobby from my condo last night. Surprise nobody picked them up today. It can not get any worse than a manger assuring an angry customer they will fix the problem and the same problem continuing. Only support is over the phone endlessly being on hold 45 minutes last time a tried. I agree with Anita H. Service is awful. I get autogenerated emails saying my delivery is on the way THAT DAY, but a day or 2 later I get the water delivered. My latest problem is that my water cooler (3rd one in a year) doesn't chill. The guy just put it in last week! Guess what, they were out of coolers when I called on Friday. No word on when they will be back in stock. Meanwhile, I have 4 5-gallon jugs of water staring at me that I can't use! Today is Monday, and in the morning I got another email that Sparkletts will be at my house today. 645pm I get another email saying the service is done. 1 cooler was exchanged. NOT. Nobody came. I did speak to a regional rep last month and he told me they have had a hard time keeping drivers. Guess what....do better Sparkletts! Something is making them leave!
