I've had my full house system for 14 months and I called for my free yearly service and inspection. To my pleasant surprise, the tech informed me I didn't need any new filters and to wait another year, or to call if anything seems off. Both my RO system and 3-filter house system were doing their jobs. BTW, I live in peoria where the water is hard, but not as bad as some parts of AZ. For anyone considering the system, which can seem a but pricey, I say without a doubt it's worth it! I've grown so accustomed to the great water at home, whenever I go someplace else to shower (especially hotels), I can now smell the chlorine in the water (gross). Before buying, I did a ton of research and looked at a few other systems, and I'm glad I landed with Puragain. read more

If you're thinking about purchasing a unit from this company--DON'T In addition to having my house flooded which I had to go through MY insurance company to have nearly $30,000 in repairs done AND now MY insurance has gone up by 60% because I made a water claim, now they are ghosting me for the annual service which I have already paid for! No one will answer a phone. All texts are not responded to. If I manage to get in touch with someone they tell me how sorry they are and they'll pass along my concerns to management. Is this the same management who is currently ghosting me? What recourse do we, as consumer, have. I filef a complaint with Arizon's Attorney General's Office. This business has terrible customer service once they install their system.. Sure your filter system is good, but your customer service sucks. I have been trying for a month to get an appointment to have my filters changed, but your people will not contact me. I call and your phone answering people say someone will contact me to set up and appointment, but no one does. I have already told 2 people who asked if I know of a good water filtrating company, I told them both how I have been treated and told them not to bother with your company. And you only provide an 855 number, not a local number, so I only speak to sone phone answerer who could be an AI thing for all I know. Need a local number on you website. read more

Rarely do I post negative reviews, but if Puragain Water's business practices are to handle a client as they did, it's sad. Super Bowl Sunday, I installed a water heater on an emergency basis as the pressure relief valve was faulty and could not function due to a sand like substance that was clogging the valve. The home also had low hot water pressure; however, no pressure issues on the cold side. The Puragain system had 2 pressure valves, one at each end of the system and it did not have any type of a bypass installed. Pressure at the inlet side was 55 psi and on the outlet side, it slowly crept up from 0 to 35 psi and no more. Puragain's emergency line was called and being it was Sunday, no tech was available. The next day, the tech comes to the house only to say this water pressure issue is due to a faulty toilet valve in the house... I chuckled under my breath. It's clear there's some form of blockage in the system and being the hot water heater that had been replaced yesterday was filled with a sand like substance. And quite a bit, much more than any potential sediment seen from an opened main water line. The tank was the first fixture to receive the water in the house and there were no issue at the time on the cold side. After the tech disproved his own theory, he went over to the filters and removed the third. It had the same sand substance that was in the hot water heater, only the tech went as far to say this is supposed to be full. About 1/8 of the material was left. At this point, the tech finally says, "We are at fault." He provided a number in which became discussion with a regional manager who at first seemed to be helpful and then abruptly disappeared. It's now June 1st. Last night was spent trying to remove sand so the bath will fill up. Laundry is a struggle as the hot water doesn't work well. Nor do the dishwasher, showers or any faucet. Maybe one day Puragain will make the hot water lines just that. read more

My garage was flooding from a pipe not well soldered by the guy who put in the piping. I have noticed the water to be better filtered however I'm giving 3 stars because when i had an emergency, they got back with me the next day. When there is a flooding I should have been a priority... i am grateful for Chris who came out earlier then expected the next day. I have been a loyal Puragain Water customer for 3 years, having paid full price for the initial system and paying for their expensive filter changes every single year. Despite my loyalty and the thousands of dollars I've spent, this company has completely abandoned me. My water pressure has dropped so low that my washing machine won't run and my toilets won't flush. I am stuck in a home with barely functional plumbing because of this system. To make matters worse, they installed it without a bypass valve, so I can't even turn the system off to get my water pressure back. In the past, they were quick to call me to sell me more filters. This year? Total silence. They didn't even contact me for the annual maintenance I usually pay for. When I call them, I get a human who promises a callback, but they never call. It is clear that Puragain only cares about you when they are taking your money for a new sale or a filter upsell. The moment you have a serious technical failure that falls under their "7-year warranty" or "Lifetime Maintenance," they ghost you. STAY AWAY. I am now forced to hire an outside plumber to cut their system out of my house just so I can have a functional bathroom again. Scam water system. The initial cost over $5K and then there's the super high cost of the filters replacement. Sadly, as far as making your water soft, 50 50 chance of that ever happening. A traditional soft water system works, period, is a fraction of the cost and a couple bags of salt once in awhile is peanuts. A reverse osmosis system under the kitchen sink and the combo of that with a traditional soft water system is light years better that this very costly pura-again system of high cost filters. read more

THIS WAS A NIGHTMARE. I cannot reach customer4 service. Only phone numbers are for sales or service/maintenance. The system does not work. First year nothing but excuses Over 6 techs came out all with a different story. One even found a rag someone left in the system. Then in December I moved it to my new build home and it is worse. Water spots and toilet rings after only 3 months. Then they put in a salt tank - someone hooked it up wrong and for the first month it didn't work - was told lucky the entire garage wasn't flooded. Installation technician arrived on time,was professional and polite,answered all my questions. I have the whole house system & the under sink RO system. My water scale was reduced 75% or more, there is no longer a smell/odor in water, tastes clean and refreshing. I have had my system 2 years now and I am absolutely happy with my system. It costs less to have than the plastic water bottles i was buying 8 to 10 cases of water bottles every week, & it is much healthier. Also Victoria, in the Arizona office was extremely helpful with my upcoming maintenance appointment. Very professional, friendly & kind. I would highly recommend this system to anyone. This is a complete disregard for knowledge and competence. I have a feeling they just give their guys a shirt and say there ya go. We've had the whole house system plus RO for just over and have been happy with it. Are the filters pricey maybe but in comparison to having buy salt every month and all the water waste that comes from a salt system I'm okay with it. I also purchased the lock in package so my filter prices are locked for 7 years. Only hiccup we had was after our first filter replacement our RO stopped working. I called them and Jose came out and identified that the polishing filter was faulty. He quickly replaced it and they had the system back up and running. Great service all around. I was upset to say the least and explained to him this in the purchase plan, or so I thought. . Then, he said he would sell me 1 for 300.00 and I could finance the 2 filters...I told him to leave. I would give them a negative number if I could. Avoid purchasing or buying from Puragain. I purchased their whole house system & reverse osmosis in March, 2024. This system is $5,999. After my 1yr follow up in 3/2025, on 8/29/25, I had water coming out from the reverse osmosis under my sink. This was due to a faulty part from Puragain that they knew they had issues with, but did not check with their current customers who may have the faulty part and fix the problem. Although they sent a technician out right away to fix the faulty part and replace with a newer part that won't crack, they did not follow up with repairing the inside of my kitchen cabinet that had major water damage even though they took pictures. I continually followed up with them to see when they would fix it, I asked for their insurance info & I just kept getting the run-around or partial information. It is now end of December and no word from them at all to repair the water damage. A vendor who doesn't acknowledge their fault or repair what their system caused & they knowingly knew about this faulty part I do not recommend. Save your money, research diligently - there are better systems out there with a lower cost. Run from vendors that don't have integrity. read more

I originally gave this company a 5 star review which I have now deleted due to consistently bad experiences not only for me, but for every single person I referred to them, which I now deeply regret. I'm not a person who writes negative reviews but I'm totally fed up. I don't know how else to get their attention and make them take responsibility for the damage they caused. NEVER use this company. I got the whole house filter, top of the line with RO system and referred them to several of my clients because I was so happy....at first. The first person I referred to them had a massive flood with damage pretty soon after install. Nobody returned her calls or followed up. She had to chase them down, threaten and still no support or system in place to repair the damage from a faulty system. I called my rep to be sure that would not happen to me and he assured me mine was fine. Cut to...mine floods too. Again, no support, no responsiveness and a brand new build ruined. They have no organization and no system in place to take accountability for their faulty system. Another person I referred to them also had a negative experience with lack of transparency, wrong communication and ended up with an install that did not include multiple areas of the house that they were not pre-warned about. I feel trapped with their system in my house because it will be very costly to rip their system out and get a new one put in and I'm also left with a very costly under sink cabinet replacement to handle on my own because they NEVER follow through with anything and could care less about customer support. Never again. I will never refer them because they made me look bad with so many fails with every person I referred to them and no follow through with their promises for their faulty flooding systems. read more

Unfortunately, this system didn't really clean the water as promised. After two years of using Puragain, I drained my water heater and was shocked by how much residue had built up. It clearly isn't effective for Phoenix's very hard water. When I first purchased it, I was told I'd only need to replace the small filters once a year for around $150. However, during a service visit last year, the technician suggested upgrading to a $1,500 per year plan (offered to me for $800) to improve water quality -- which felt more like a sales pitch than a solution. I am telling everyone to avoid this company on Ventura county California. We have been very patient and tried numerous systems that they have suggested to remove hard water with no success. Their systems do not remove hard water. We have had to replace our dishwasher because it was damaged by hard water buildup. Our refrigerator icemaker also is damaged. All of our dishes look terrible with so much hard water build up. I have been called the company numerous times since August of 2025 to have my system removed and receive a refund with no luck. I was told that they would come out to remove the equipment and I asked for an email stating that I will receive a refund but that has never happened. Every time I call to ask to speak to a supervisor I am told that a supervisor will reach out to me, but that never happens. This has been the worst customer service from any company that I have ever dealt with. We are still waiting for someone to call me back, or receive an email about our refund. read more

A year ago we decided to replace our 20 year old salt system. I'd been watching a reoccurring infomercial from a competitor of PureAgain. I saw the PureAgain whole house filtration system on Facebook and decided to go with them. Plus the free under the sink alkaline system was a great sales point. Today we had our first filter replacement and we also went with a filter upgrade to get the best possible water delivery through our home. The service people have all been very wonderful people. On time, informative and willing to explain whatever you want explained. I will say I don't like the credit company they use or the division I'm not sure which "Aqua Finance", use your own or pay cash. I was informed about two different programs for replacement and the advantages of each. I did select the Platinum program for the increased health benefits and price lock on future purchases for the remaining time of my warranty (which is approximately 6 years). Both technicians were professional and helpful. 1 year update: It has been a year since we installed this water filtration system. While the system functions as promised, we have recently observed an increase in water spots, indicating that it is time for a filter replacement. Initially, we were informed that the annual cost for the three primary filters would range between $150 and $250. However, during a recent service visit, the technician quoted $450 for just four of the nine filters, with the main three costing $325 and an additional $125 for the alkaline membrane filter. We were also offered a $900 package for all filters, which purportedly locks in a reduced annual replacement cost of $500 due to new upgraded filters. The suggested package, however, significantly exceeds the initial estimate, and we were informed that prices would continue to rise if we did not commit to this package. This lack of transparency at the time of purchase is concerning. Had we known the annual cost could potentially reach $500 or more we might have reconsidered investing in this $5,000 system. We regret not conducting more thorough research prior to purchase. Moving forward, we will replace the filters ourselves and will not be using this company's services for future replacements. It is important to note that the technicians who serviced our system were professional and courteous. Our dissatisfaction lies with the company's pricing practices, not with the individual technicians. In summary, while the system performs as expected, the associated maintenance costs and lack of upfront transparency are significant drawbacks. Prospective buyers should be aware of the potentially high annual maintenance costs and consider alternatives before committing.Arizona has terrible water quality and even if they're using " catalytic carbon filters from Germany" the filters will always need to be replaced so we will go with the more cost effective ones especially in a system this expensive with only a 7 year warranty. 3 stars because I think the filters are doing what they're supposed to do but just disappointed they severely underestimated cost initially and we are stuck with this very expensive system. Just a couple of words regarding my new Pureagain Water Treatment System, I love it! I have only had it for a couple of weeks, and, I can already tell a difference in the way my house cleaning efforts have changed. Clean-ups are so easy and water staining/spotting has been eliminated. My clothes and other laundry smell and feel so much fresher and softer. No more "yucky" smells in my dishwasher and washing machine. Also, my skin and hair feels so much better; no itchy, dry skin and hair feels so much cleaner! The taste of the water is wonderful. I did my homework and contacted three locations for water purification. Two of the three did salt water, which I was sure I didn't want if there was another choice. Spoke to Tom over the phone. He was very friendly to the great explanation of how the non-salty purification works. I decided to go with Puragain. Tom came out, explained to us where the system would be set up. How it would work and the price? When we said, yes, he had advised us that there had been a cancellation and availability to install the system. We received a picture notification that our service technician would be Chase. Chase showed up, introduced himself and quickly went to work like a ninja. He was fast and he was courteous. Jesse was very professional and upsold us a premium package that actually saves us money in the long run by limiting the cost of filters. My wife and I absolutely love the PurAgain system after having Culligan for four years. Culligan had promised us our underwear would whiten up and not gray. They promised to remove the sulfur odor that we have in the summer. None of it was true. The only thing Culligan did was give us soft water. My underwear turned gray and our water smelled like sulfur in the summer. Before PurAgain we used refrigerator water filters for drinking and changed filters every three weeks. Since PurAgain, I drink right out of the kitchen sink water filter. I haven't changed the refrigerator water filter in six months. The automatic timer still requires it.
