After contacting the initial company who installed my water softener I reached out to a neighbor to find an alternative solution who pointed me to Frank at Advantage. After speaking with Frank and sending him a couple of pictures of the system, he decided my system could be rebuilt for about half the cost of a new system but would send a tech over to review it. Kyle showed up the next day as scheduled and immediately went to work taking the system apart and reaching the same conclusion. Kyle was a great guy and clearly very very knowledgeable about these systems. He quoted a fair price and said he would be back the next day with the new parts and install it. I believe in good customer service and integrity in business. I recommend many business to my friends and peers. Well that's what I am sharing today. I had the worst experience of talking with Advantage Pure Flo. I was shocked at their practices and behavior, no customer service experience, during the conversation hung up the phone as I was explaining why I called and what I was looking for. So if you are in the market to buy a water softener system for your use and also thinking it adds value to your house and you may get good return on your investment..... they may not be the company to go with... their business practice since 1986 ( as I was told) is that "water softener warranty goes with the owner" period. If you sell your house the warranty is VOID " yes that's correct" warranty VOID for new home owner. And listen to this "The New owners cannot buy warranty for existing product also" . You may buy a new system but not warranty. I have never see this before, I have sold cars, houses and electronics the warranty always go with the product to new owners. I thought I will share my experience and advise with my peers/Friends and neighbors about today and provide transparency to new home owners looking to install water softener. please shop around there are many companies who will sell you a product that adds value to your house and warranty will not VOID after selling your home. Excellent product, fantastic pricing, top-notch customer service, I'll use these guys for all my water treatment needs! Their warranty and technicians are unmatched. I've used plenty of companies in the past for my properties but, once I found Frank and his team, I immediately switched over to them. Every big name company tried to sell me a 3, 4, or even $5000 water softener..... but these guys installed and warrantied (for life) the EXACT SAME SYSYTEM for under $2000. I moved into a home that already had a system installed. Previous tenants weren't using system properly and reported it wasn't working. I called Frank who looked up the info for the previous install and he walked me through how to use the system. Turns out everything was functioning and simply user error before. Frank was honest and extremely helpful. I will be using advantage pure Flo for another upgrade soon. Talked to Butch after another company tried to tell me I needed to redo my whole system or get a new one and he explained to me OVER THE PHONE (other company came out, only looked at my set up and then tested the kitchen water -what scammers do per many youtube videos) that it was only a $78 part and it will work perfectly. Very honest and Nathan came out on schedule and literally took him 20 minutes to install and get things up and running again! Highly Highly recommended. When I say that this company goes ABOVE AND BEYOND, I truly mean it. I mean...I'm totally blown away by their customer service. Frank has been helping us over the phone and he has followed up with us on so many things. We recently bought a house that came with one of Advantage Pure Flos reverse osmosis systems. They came out and serviced it for us and were so kind! We had an issue with a brand new water softener that we bought from our Plummer and we were having issues with it. We were out of options on what to do so we decided to just give these guys a call since they were so thorough with us, as a last resort. So happy we did because they helped us figure out the source of the problem, do research, helped us figure out calibration of water flow, and even provided us with phone numbers we needed/who to contact- even though this had nothing to do with them or their business, they just wanted to help out. Advantage Pure Flo is the best!!! We purchased water softeners and reverse osmosis systems from them 15 years ago for new homes and never had to replace them. When we built a new home, there was no doubt we would use them again. We recently had an issue with our refrigerator making ice and were told by companies we called it was our reverse osmosis system. We called Advantage Pure Flo and they came by to check out the situation. It wasn't related to the reverse osmosis but they helped us anyhow and didn't even charge us for a service call. An excellent company that was a referral from a friend who has used them 3 times to install water softeners and r/o systems in different houses. They were quick to return my call and set up an appointment. Frank showed up promptly for a consultation. He was very thorough, super nice (luv the tatts), and I did not feel pressured. Herman the installer arrived 5-10 min before my scheduled time. He also explained the systems thoroughly, made sure I approved the placement of water softener tanks before connecting them, took me around to show the work he'd done, & tightened a joint that was slightly leaking under my sink. My husband and I purchased a home in Red Mountain Ranch (Mesa, AZ). The home was equipped with a water filtration system and water softener. We were not familiar with either and wanted to hire a technician to check out the systems. We called 3 plumbers. The first wanted to replace the softener because it appeared it was leaking (mind you he never turned it on) for $1,400. The other two knew little about softeners or how they worked.
