I decided to stop here because I was short on time and needed a quick pedi for the weekend. The decor is really nice, shiny, and set up really well. I love checking out new nail salons!! The gentleman greeted me was sitting in the very back of the nail salon looking at his cell phone. I waited for him to come to the front, and I don't know - I picked up a non-welcoming, tense vibe. I explained I only needed a pedi, regular polish. He pointed and said pick a color. But not all the colors were standard, some were gel and powder so I asked him which ones were regular. He sort of just pointed in the general area to pick a color. So I did. I had two nail techs. One did the polish removal while the other lady was finishing up and put me in the foot soaker. The other lady did the rest of my pedi. They were both very nice and friendly. I had nice conversation with one of them and that made the pedi experience a positive one. I went to pay and mentioned to the nail tech, wow, those glitter colors over there are so nice, I wish they were regular polish. She said they are regular. So I said, but the guy said I could only pick from there (a certain area). So she showed me all the colors I could select from on two different walls and a whole other wall in the back. So I said he did a poor job explaining. He walked up for something and I said you only told me these were the colors, I wish you had told me about all the other ones. His response was, "Next time. You'll be back," and sort of walked to the back again. In a day where there is a nail salon on literally every other block, in every strip mall - one can't be so assuming the customer will be back. With that sort of arrogant response, I will not be back unless there's different manament. That guy was not welcoming in an atmosphere that is all about relaxation. read more

Since moving farther into the 'burbs and having my previous regular nail tech take a break due to the pandemic, I kept taking the L when trying out different salons (reduced quality once they realized that I was coming back more often as a regular, rushed manicures, nails chipping in less than 2 weeks, etc.) within the area. Kim R posted an Instagram story of her super cute manicure with nail art and recommended her nail tech, Mia, who she's also followed to multiple salon changes. I was able to make an appointment with Mia and sent her ideas that I liked for my manicure since I wanted designs. Ever since that first appointment, I've gone to Mia for the past 4 times so I'd call myself one of her regulars now! She's very meticulous and always makes sure that you're content and satisfied with your nails. Additionally, her artistic skill with nail art and designs are definitely Pinterest worthy. I've done manicures without designs and her attention to detail is STILL on point. The biggest plus is that my manicures have lasted 4+ weeks without any chipping AT ALL. I could probably go longer, but my nails grow fast and I typically visit at the 4 week mark. I don't know what the secret is, but my wallet is definitely happier now! The salon itself has a wide selection of both SNS powder, gel, and regular nail polishes. Based on their Facebook page, their staff seems to be very skilled at nail art! Damaged my nails and worst acrylic set Iv ever gotten!!! There is no way the pictures shown are theirs! Walked in with a picture of a red French with black hearts, was told they could do it! (With no hesitation!) She proceeded to only half soak my nails off then crack and chip off the old acrylic damaging my nails instead of just letting them soak. She put the tips on crooked on the fingers needing to get fixed she then put the acrylic on heavy and uneven. Super thick for no reason and somehow still missing spots! She ignored every comment or question I had about them being done poorly or something being wrong! She couldn't do the pointed French so we setting on a regular French line then she couldn't do the hearts so I did not get the design I came in and asked for! That they said could be done no problem! My nails are horrible and probably won't last long! There are bubbles, rough spots, places completely missing acrylic or paint. Like how do you not see how bad that looks? read more

I went in for a pedicure and was disappointed with the entire experience. First, the leg massage was practically nonexistent. Then the woman painting my toes showed her manager and the next thing I know, she's removing all the polish off all my toes with no explanation! Not sure if she was in training, or what...ultimately, after the second round of polish, the manager sat and finished the job. But my toes do not have a smooth coat of polish, there are some bubbles and a few of toes have polish on the skin as well as my nails. At the store front, they have a sign saying it's under new management, but they need to take a serious look at their procedures or they aren't going to last. read more

I stumbled upon this nail salon in the area while shopping at TJ Maxx last year (I'm always on the quest to give new businesses a try). And from the very first visit, the workers have always been friendly & meticulous. Their stations are sterilized in between clients and the shop is always clean/organized. They offer a variety of services, such as your typical manicure/pedicure options, nail enhancements, and so forth. The prices are comparable for the area. They have specials during holidays as well as happy hour discounts on weekdays! I've had Hailey as my nail tech multiple times and she always works so well & neatly in my experience (for gel & dip manis). I've had a few different people for hydration pedicures and they have all been on point in my experience (great massage + neat application)- this is definitely my go-to spot for pedis. Absolutely amazing! I happened to find this shop looking for a place closer to my job. The first visit was great! I walked in and was acknowledged immediately. The service was great and the I've gotten so many compliments on my dip manicure! Second visit was the same! My daughter and I went to get manicures and the woman who helped us was amazing. I'm quadriplegic and have no hand function and she worked with me even when I had to awkwardly park my chair next to her station. This lovely woman even cleaned my nails and cut my cuticles standing by my chair to make me more comfortable. She did my daughter's nails (black, pink, and glittery) and they look great even a couple days later, which is pretty impressive for a 7 year old! I would NOT recommend this place. RACISIM. I used this place several times. The person who did my mani and pedi was Hailey and wax for Amy and Tammy. Recently I called and try to schedule an appointment. When I told them my name I was told Hailey do not work there and Tammy cannot take me. I was pretty disappointed with the rudeness and lack of professionalism shown on my last visit. I made an appointment online to have a polish change to freshen up my manicure. I had a full mani/pedi just the week before. Somehow, my technician double-booked and had someone else during the same time slot. I felt like I was totally disregarded because my polish change was not that expensive. Instead of respectfully asking me if I would mind if she assigned someone else to finish up my nails, another technician just appeared in front of me with no explanation. I did not appreciate that and made my technician aware that I was unhappy about her lack of regard for me as her customer. I typically do not return to a business that is rude or disrespectful. This is the worst nail salon I've ever been in my entire life. They were out of stock for a lot of colors I picked, after 4-5 attempts I ended up picking a color I didn't really like. I had a gel manicure and the nail technician did such a poor job. The color was painted past my cuticles and there was nail polish on my skin. The color was not applied smoothly so it looked like the color was not mixed well. After I made that comment the nail technician had the nerve to say it was because my nails were uneven. There were only two nail technicians on site and had poor English. Mitch the owner was present in the beginning but decided to just leave the shop (he was the only one who could speak English well enough). I ended up having the nail technician remove the nail polish, she wasn't even competent enough to do that job so after 1.5 hours wasted at the salon I came home and had to remove the rest of the nail polish myself. ONE AND HALF HOURS WASTED! Mitch the owner did not seem to want to do anything to make it better. My sister has gone to this salon numerous times and thought they were great up until this moment. She is very disappointed in their behavior and how I was treated she is not going back again. read more

I wasn't happy that it took 2hrs 15 minutes to do a regular gel manicure and remove acrylic (1hr 20 minutes to remove acrylic and one lady tried to use HER OWN NAIL to lift the acrylic off my nail which really hurt) - also not happy I was asked to move seats 3 times and work with 3 different techs (although I made an appointment, the two walk ins who came an hour into my appointment sat and the lady I was originally working with went to work on them). Unprofessional, drinks offered to everyone but me, and struggle to remove acrylics properly. read more

The lady Who did my nails was very nice her name is Van. She said 2:30 was ok but when I came the woman in the chair was getting her legs scrubbed I wish she would've said come back later or even called at 2:15 saying to come at 3. Either way I waited patiently and told her not to rush because the lady in the chair deserved a good pedicure. I ended up sitting in the massage chair falling asleep and was serviced 20 minutes later. Even through, when she was painting she said 5 minutes which I knew was not true. My pedicure was METICULOUS those reviews are correct..painfully so. My cuticles HURT and I told her many times it hurt. She was fixated on getting something out. If she could, she would've lifted my toe nail off to get whatever it was. She was the only one working. I paid $60 which is kinda high for a gel pedi. I'm used to $50-55. I probably won't be back. I wish she put the cuticle effort into the $7 callus remover. Also, I read somewhere someone used their nail to remove the customers nail, Van used her nails to dig under my cuticle. Gross.
