I used Sparkle recently after a recommendation from my handyman and couldn't recommend them more. The owner Fred came out immediately to walk through my place and provide an immediate estimate. He was also an excellent communicator through the process. The installer Cory had to go above and beyond as the wiring that ran into my unit needed to be replaced after the installation began. On June 13, 2022, my AC unit started to make loud scratching noises like a utensil rubbing on metal. Luckily, my wife, Joyce was home. It startled her. Do not use I was assigned them by warranty company and he said would make appointment to come out, Just should up with no notice. I had prior ac repair man come out and they told me what was wrong so I told Fred and he barely looked at unit and said warranty company would pay for everything don't worry and quoted me 10k for fixing everything and I would be responsible for half. So I called warranty company an told them I rather just do payout and use another company. The part needed to fix my air conditioning was difficult to find but Fred was able to find it and send out Max to get my system up and running by the following Tuesday. Horrible experience with this company! They came through our home warranty because our AC isn't blowing cold air. They showed up and changed the filter claiming that this is the problem. Of course 2 days later, AC is not blowing cold air again. The second time they came, the guy was extremely rude to my wife. He was basically yelling at her that there is nothing wrong with the AC and that we are wasting his time. I came home few min later to get even more of his rude attitude. Trying to understand what the problem is, he replied that he didn't have time and he already told my wife and I should talk to her. Then he claimed to have changed the capacitor (after being upset that everything was working fine). The worst part is still coming. He made an assumption about where we are originally from and started making all kinds of racist comments about me trying to scam him and make him change parts that are not broken. I didn't even suggest changing anything, all I asked was why is the AC not working as expected. Finally, I told him that if the AC stopped working again, he will have to come back to fix it. He then said that he is not willing to come back, that's a contractor that doesn't stand behind his work. read more
