I contacted hero based on their reviews & I was not disappointed. I was able to schedule an app within the week & Thomas the tech came by & was able to give me an honest opinion on my unit. It was low on coolant & I had a leak up in the attic that thankfully did not travel and damage the house. Since my unit was old they no longer make coolant for it & parts would have been just as much to replace as a brand new unit. So I opted for a new unit, didn't feel any pressure by them & the next day I was happy that they came and installed it in less than 3 hours. Originally I had thought the system was low on refrigerant but before doing anything, Eric wanted to get to the root of the problem and climbed into the attic to double check the system. As it turns out, there was a blockage of insulation causing air flow issues. It was a simple fix and less costly than what was originally expected. While probably not a common solution, the expertise and diligence Eric showed by not jumping to a conclusion or more costly solution was well worth the service call. I now have an "A/C Guy".

She answered my questions and set me up with an appointment to talk to the owner Kendall. April, being the professional and friendly person that she is, will either answer the phone right away, or she will call back asap, or text the same day. Great customer service. Kendall came out and completed a thorough inspection, including photos of my attic air handler and ductwork. I was very impressed. I also asked about moving my attic hatch, which is in my master bedroom closet, to the hallway. He told me that was a possibility. Today is the day of my install. My installers, Alex, Jesus and Orlando, took such good care of my home. Regarding the ceiling hatch: Alex explained that as long as there are no pipes or running wires the hatch can be opened in the hallway. No pipes, no wiring! And no more going through my closet to get into the attic. The hatch is also closer to the air handler unit. Looks great. The installation of my new air conditioning unit went so smoothly. Alex explained each process to me and had no problem answering my many questions. He and his crew are easy to talk to and they are not only polite, but professional. They made sure everything was clean and spotless before they left. The price for my Trane unit was better than I expected. So many service Providers do not have the proper manufacturer certifications needed to keep factory warranties effective. They did a very thorough job inspecting both units & cleaning the units outside as well as the unit in the attic. All this work was done a t a fair price. I shopped 3 other Lennox Providers that had very expensive maintenance programs. We did sign up for the twice-a-year service program as well.

We had an exceptional experience with AirAid. Initially, Robert was recommended to us by a local…read morehandyman. We didn't have a licensed person put in our original split a/c and were having coolant issues. :-( He came over to look at our unit, and a couple of days later, came back with his team to repair it. He was upfront about telling us that he couldn't assess any internal damage the last two repair companies might have made to it. But, he did tell us what he would recommend if we ever needed to replace it. Well, it worked super well for about 10 days and then simply died. So we were in touch with him again, got an installation date and time, and his team came over again. These guys really know their stuff! And, they were so professional, courteous, and made sure we knew exactly what was happening. They re-routed several things, put a breaker box by the outside unit to make it easier to access (see photo), took away a ton of unnecessary wires, hoses and foam which they consolidated into a very small space in the garage. It was amazing. We couldn't be more pleased with Robert and his company, his employees, and the service we received. You will not be disappointed.
